        중년기 여성의 학습참여 요인은 삶의 의미에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 지지도 학습참여 요인과 삶의 의미에 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학습참여 요인, 삶의 의미, 사회적 지지의 각 변인에 대한 개별적인 연구는 많이 있으나, 사회적 지지가 학습참여 요인과 삶의 의미에 미치는 조절효과에 대한 연구가 미흡한 실정이므로 학습참여 요인, 삶의 의미, 사회적 지지와의 관련성에 대한 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 연구에서 학습에 참여하는 중년기 여성을 대상으로 학습참여 요인과 삶의 의미, 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 밝힌 것은 학습에 참여하는 중년기 여성의 학습참여 요인의 전략을 세우는데 기초 자료를 제시할 수 있다. 결론적으로. 학습참여 요인, 삶의 의미 간의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과는 학습참여 요인과 삶의 의미의 관계에서 조절효과가 있었다. 정보적 지지, 평가적 지지, 정서적 지지는 학습참여 요인과 삶의 의미에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 정서적 지지, 평가적 지지, 정보적 지지가 높아질수록 학습참여 요인과 삶의 의미는 높아지는 것이다. 반대로 물질적 지지는 학습참여 요인과 삶의 의미와의 관계에서 조절효과가 없었다. 이는 중년기 여성에게 평가적 지지, 정서적 지지, 정보적 지지를 강화시키는 상담 프로그램 개발이 필요하며 이를 위한 사회 제도적 보완 및 대책이 요구된다 하겠다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of middle-aged women's learning participation-related factors on the meaning of life and to examine the moderating effect of social support. To verify this, this study surveyed 551 middle-aged women aged 45-65 years living in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do with the questionnaire including learning participation factors, meaning of life, and measures of social support with the use of SPSS 25.0 for data analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that the learning participation factors of middle-aged female learners positively affected the meaning of life. Learning-oriented factors and goal-oriented factors positively affected the meaning of life, but activity orientation negatively affected the meaning of life, which means that taking pleasure in learning itself and having a clear purpose make the meaning of life more valuable, but the increase in activity orientation - with expansion of human relationships, feelings of alienation, and escape from boring daily - life reduces the value of the meaning of life. Second, it was revealed that social support partially and positively affected learning participation factors. Informational support and emotional support positively affected the activity-oriented factors. Emotional support, evaluative support, and informational support positively affected learning orientation factors. Informational support positively affected goal orientation. Conversely, it was verified that material support negatively affected goal orientation factors, which means that information provision, interest and love, and a high level of trust increase activity-oriented factors, and affection and trust, providing information, and positive evaluation or high acceptance of oneself increase goal-directing factors, and a high level of advice, information, and suggestions raises the level of goal orientation, and an increase in material support such as money, goods, labor assistance, or time decreases goal orientation. Third, the results of the study on the effect of social support on the meaning of life show that social support had a positive effect. Emotional support and evaluative support positively affected the discovery of meaning in life and informational support and evaluative support positively affected the meaning-seeking. On the other hand, material support negatively affected the pursuit of meaning, which means that when emotional support, informational support, and evaluative support increase, the meaning of life increases, but also meaning-seeking decreases when material support such as goods, money, time, and labor aid increases. This study verified the moderating effect of social support in the relationship between middle-aged women's learning participation factors and the meaning of life. In other words, it is meaningful that social support increases the learning participation factor of middle-aged women, which helps enhance the value of meaning in life, leading to growing understanding of middle-aged female learners.

        노인맞춤돌봄서비스 생활지원사 직무분석에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to conduct a job analysis of life care supporters who were affiliated with 「Individualized Support Service for Older Adults」. What job areas should be strengthened were also examined based on results of job analysis. Using the DACUM method, a job model consisting of a job definition of life care supporters, 7 duties, and 21 tasks was derived. The needs analysis was conducted based on the job model. As a result of analyzing job needs using paired t-test, the Borich needs assessment model, and the locus for focus model, it was found that life care supporters' awareness should be improved and job education should be strengthened, especially in areas of social participation program management, life education operation, and daily life support. Results of the study suggest the following: 1) awareness of job of life care supporters should be improved, 2) job identity education should be strengthened, 3) competency-based job training should be systematized, 4) work manuals should be produced for life care supporters, and 5) life care supporters should receive job training before starting work.

        보육교사의 사회적 지지와 회복탄력성이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

        Objective: This study examined the effects of social support and resilience on life satisfaction of child care teachers. Methods: This study was conducted by sampling 162 child care teachers who participated in job training courses in the Gyeongsangbuk-do region. Three kinds of variables, which included social support, resilience, and life satisfaction were measured. The collected data were analyzed using PASW 18.0 program for windows. Results: First, social support, resilience, and life satisfaction of the child care teachers were generally above normal. The resilience subscale showed the highest score in ‘affirmative’, followed by ‘interpersonal ability’, ‘self-control ability’. And the ‘support of colleagues’ was higher than ‘support of superior’ in the social support’s subscale. Next, there were no significant differences in social support by child care teachers' background, but there were significant differences in resilience and life satisfaction of child care teachers' according to their working center types and academic levels. Second, life satisfaction was positively correlated with social support, and resilience. The ‘affirmative’, ‘support of superior’ variables were factors that predicted life satisfaction. Conclusion/Implications: We suggested ways to increase the life satisfaction of child care teachers through the ‘affirmative’ and ‘support of superior’ variables.

      • 관절염을 가진 대상자의 가족지지, 자가 간호 및 삶의 질과의 관계

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate relationships among family support, self-care, and quality of life of patients with arthritis through a survey. That will be basic data to plan nursing intervention for promoting quality of life for patients with arthritis. Method : The convenient sample of this study consisted of 120 patients with arthritis and data were collected using questionnaires during August 2006 from two OPDs of rheumatoid centers in C University hospitals. The study instruments were used to measure Self Care (So, 1992), Family Support (Kang, 1984), and Quality of Life (Ro, 1988). The data were analyzed using ANOVA, Duncan test, and Pearson correlation. Result : The mean scores were 3.56 for family support, 4.16 for self-care, and 3.19 for quality of life. The level of self-care was significantly higher in those men, having an occupation, higher income, and living with family members. The level of family support was significantly higher in those men, having an occupation, living with family members, and having a helper. The level of quality of life was significantly higher for those men, having a higher income, and shorter length of illness. Three relationships were found to be positively correlated: 1) between the levels of family support and self-care (r=.53), 2) between the levels of self-care and quality of life (r=.55), and 3) between the levels of family support and quality of life (r=.54). Conclusion: Therefore, a nursing intervention program needs to be developed to promote family support, and self-care for quality of life for patients with arthritis.

        성인 장애자녀 부모의 돌봄 스트레스가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 사회적 지지에 의해 조절된 자기돌봄의 매개효과

        연구목적: 본 연구는 성인 장애자녀 부모의 돌봄 스트레스가 자기돌봄을 매개로 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고 사회적 지지의 수준에 따라 돌봄 스트레스와 삶의 만족도간의 관계에서 자기돌봄의 매개효과 크기가 달라지는지 확인하기 위해 조절된 매개효과탐색을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법: 성인 장애자녀를 둔 부모 중 주 돌봄 제공자를 대상으로 온라인 및 오프라인 설문을 실시하였고 총 372부를 최종분석 자료로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 29.0, SPSS PROCESS Macro 3.5 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 성인 장애자녀 부모의 자기돌봄은 돌봄 스트레스와 삶의 만족도 간의관계를 부분매개 하였다. 둘째, 성인 장애자녀 부모의 공식적 사회적 지지는 돌봄 스트레스와 자기돌봄 간의 관계를 유의하게 조절하였고, 돌봄 스트레스가 자기돌봄을 매개하여삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 공식적 사회적 지지의 조절된 매개효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 셋째, 성인 장애자녀 부모의 비공식적 사회적 지지는 돌봄 스트레스, 자기돌봄 및 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 조절효과와 조절된 매개효과가 유의하지 않았다. 결론: 본 연구결과는 성인 장애자녀 부모의 삶의 만족도가 저하되지 않기 위해서 돌봄 스트레스를 낮추어야 하고, 돌봄 스트레스를 낮추기 어려운 상황에서는 부모의 개인자원인 자기돌봄과 사회자원인 공식적 사회적 지지의 수준을 높이는 것이 중요하다는 것을 보여준다. Objectives: This study aims to examine the influence of caregiver stress on life satisfaction among parents of adult children with disabilities through the mediating role of self-care. Additionally, it seeks to explore whether the magnitude of the mediated effect of self-care on the relationship between caregiver stress and life satisfaction varies depending on the level of social support. Method: The study conducted online and offline surveys targeting primary caregivers among parents of adult children with disabilities and utilized a total of 372 respondents in the final dataset. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and SPSS PROCESS Macro 3.5 programs. Results: First, self-care among parents of adult children with disabilities partially mediated the relationship between caregiver stress and life satisfaction. Second, the formal social support received by these parents significantly moderated the relationship between caregiver stress and self-care. In this moderated mediation model, caregiver stress was significantly associated with life satisfaction through the mediating role of self-care, and this moderated mediation by formal social support was statistically significant. Third, informal social support among parents of adult children with disabilities did not show significant moderation or moderated mediation effects in the relationships between caregiver stress, self-care, and life satisfaction. Conclusions: The results of this study highlight the significance of reducing caregiver stress to maintain or improve life satisfaction among parents of adult children with disabilities. In situations where reducing caregiver stress is challenging, it underscores the importance of enhancing parents’ personal resources such as self-care, and increasing their formal social support as essential strategies.

        장애아가족의 가족지원제도의 요구와 삶의 질 향상을 위한 정책적ㆍ제도적 개선방안

        장애아의 출현은 장애아부모 및 비장애형제자매 등 가족구성원 모두에게 영향을 미치게 되며, 장애아가족은 부부갈등, 부모와 장애자녀갈등, 부모와 비장애 자녀와의 갈등, 장애형제와 비장애 형제간의 갈등 등을 함께 경험하면서 긍정적ㆍ부정적인 일상생활을 겪게 된다. 또한 장애아가족은 장애아양육에 따른 다양한 문제들을 대부분 가족구성원이 분담하여 스스로 책임을 지게 되므로, 일반가정에 비해 스트레스와 어려움이 가중되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 문제들은 단순히 장애아 개인 또는 장애아가족구성원만이 부담하는 것으로 해결되는 것이아니다. 그러므로 장애아가족이 지닌 다양한 측면에서의 문제들은 사회적인 책임공유의 인식을 통한 정책적ㆍ제도적인 장애아가족지원에 근거하에 해결책이 요구된다고 할 수 있다. 2007년부터 「건강가정지원센터」의 ‘장애아가족양육지원사업’에 따라 장애아가족돌봄제도, 장애아가족휴식지원프로그램 그리고 장애인활동보조제도 등을 통해 장애아가족지원제도들이 실행되고 있다. 그러나 이에 따른 긍정적인 측면과 함께 문제점들도 나타나고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 장애아가족의 가족지원제도의 요구를 살펴보고, 그들의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 장애아가족지원제도의 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. The birth of children with disabilities effects on parents of children with disabilities, non-disabled brothers and sisters, namely, members of a family. And disabled child’s families experience various conflicts each other in one’s home, for example, marital conflict, conflicts between parents and disabled child, conflicts between parents and non-disabled child and conflicts between disabled child and non-disabled brothers and sisters in everyday life. The family members of disabled child share the responsibility of nurturing disabled child. Therefore, the family with disabled child has more stress and trouble than family with non-disabled child. So, the problems in various aspects of family with disabled child can be resolved through politicalㆍinstitutional support for family with disabled child based on sharing social responsibility. Since 2007, policies for ‘support for family with disabled child’ of 「Health and Family Support Centers」are carried out according to undertaking for support for family with disabled child, but concerning this support, several problems have been pointed out. In this study, situations of ‘support system for family with disabled child’ for improvement about quality of life for family with disabled child would be explored and concerned on that, problems and ways to improve of support should be presented. So, the improvement of ‘support for family with disabled child’ in order to quality of one’s life of family with disabled child could be seen as follows. First, the ‘support for family with disabled child’ ought to be practiced according to the needs of family members(children with disabilities, parents, non-disabled brothers and sisters etc.). Second, the ‘support for family with disabled child’ ought to be practiced considering to financial support for family with disabled child(another free day care and treatment increased support for child with disabilities etc.). Third, the ‘respite care’ and the ‘Personal Assistance Support System’ ought to be expanded regardless of disability rating and time to everyone. Forth, the pension system for disabled person ought not to be based on disability rating but income level of person with disabilities. Fifth, ‘long-term care support system’ ought to be expanded for all disabled people.

        중환자실 간호사와 중환자가족의 연명치료 중단에 대한 태도 조사

        Purpose: This research conducted a survey of 101 intensive care unit (ICU) nurses and 88 families of intensive care unit (ICU) patients in one university hospital to study their principles and attitudes towards terminating life-support for patients with no chance of recovery. Method: Data were collected by using the questionnaire developed by Park-Gyeseon(2000) and modified by the author. With the help of SPSS for PC/win 10.0, the author took the statistics of Frequency, Percentage, Means, Standard devation, t-test and ANOVA with the collected data. Result: Both ICU nurses and family members gave a high average score (4.2 points) to the fact that both objective and ethical guidelines were needed in making the decision to terminate life support. ICU nurses and family members of ICU patients felt that nurses played the most important role in the decision-making process by providing emotional support, utmost nursing care to the end and objective, professional and necessary information and felt that the nurses' judgement should be respected. Conclusion: Given the fact that there was insufficient research on the attitudes of ICU nurses and family members of ICU patients on the subject of life support termination, comparison was difficult and a repeat study is necessary. In addition, because this research was limited to ICU nurses and family members of ICU patients, it is proposed that following studies be performed to include patients and doctors. Currently, ICU nurses are excluded from decisions regarding life support termination. However, based on the results of this study, there was a need to make provisions in the system to include ICU nurses, who play a central role in the care of ICU patients, in this decision-making process. As mediators of nursing care, ICU nurses can enhance understanding of life support termination and further investigation is needed to determine the type of nursing care and support that ICU nurses can provide to ICU patients and family members throughout this process. It is also proposed that a qualitative research be conducted on direct and subjective experiences with life support termination.

        직무스트레스, 대처방식, 사회적 지지가 보육교사의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine how job stress, coping style, and social support were associated with quality of life among child care teachers. Methods: The participants were comprised of 281 child care teachers in the metropolitan area of Seoul. Job stress, problem-focused coping style, social support, and quality of life were assessed by a teacher-reported questionnaire. Results: Correlation and regression analyses revealed that while job stress predicted lower quality of life, having problem-focused coping style and family support enhanced quality of life among child care teachers. Furthermore, results showed significant moderation effects of support from directors at child care centers on the relationship between job stress and quality of life among child care teachers. Conclusion/Implications: The findings suggest the important role of problem-focused coping styles and family support in enhancing quality of life. Moreover, support from directors at child care centers appeared to buffer the effects of job stress on quality of life among child care teachers. Results were discussed in terms of their implications for educational and counseling programs for child care teachers.

        Trends in Nursing Research on Life-Sustaining Treatment in South Korea after the Enforcement of the Act on Decisions on Life-Sustaining Treatment

        Purpose: This study investigated trends of nursing research on life-sustaining treatment in South Korea. Methods: The period for data search was set from January 2018 to December 2020. The major search terms used were advance directives and life-sustaining treatment. Of the 492 records identified in the initial search, 461 articles were excluded for various reasons. A total of 31 records were included in the final qualitative analysis. Results: Sixteen studies had nursing students as study subjects, while nine studies had nurses as study subjects. The majority of the studies employed cross-sectional descriptive surveys as their research design. The major themes that emerged from the studies were as follows: attitudes toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment, knowledge of and attitudes toward advance directives, perceptions of a good death, and nurses’ attitude toward life support care. Most of the studies reviewed concluded that attitudes toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment significantly impacted both knowledge of and attitudes toward advance directives and perceptions of a good death. Conclusion: To date, Korea still lacks extensive nursing research concerning life support care. Further research is needed to provide systematic education for nursing ethics and life support care, as well as the introduction of a specialist course. Furthermore, a multidisciplinary approach is necessary to provide diverse support systems and policy measures.         생활지원사의 직무 특성과 직업 평판이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향: 종사기간 간 다집단분석

        This study examined the relationship between the job characteristics and job reputation of life care supporters and analyzed the differences between job characteristics, job reputation, and job satisfaction according to the employment periods. It intended to provide a basis for strengthening job competency and improving the professionalism of life care supporters based on the results. The stratified sampling method was conducted for all life care supporters working at 665 institutions nationwide, and survey data answered by 3,549 people were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. A higher level of awareness of task identity and task importance among job characteristics indicated a higher level of job reputation and higher job satisfaction. Moreover, the most determinant variable among the factors was job reputation. An analysis of the differences in the determinants between groups according to the employment period revealed some significant factors that differed between the three groups. Based on the results of this study, the awareness of the job of life care supporters, job training before starting the work, clarification of the jobs and the work manuals, and differentiated education and career development based on their working experiences were suggested. This study has significant implications as a basis for strengthening the capacity and improving the professionalism of life care supporters.
