노래부르기 중심의 통합적 음악 교육 접근이 유아의 음악 능력에 미치는 효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 노래부르기 중심의 통합적 음악 교육 접근이 유아의 음악 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 만 5세 유아 총 40명으로 실험 집단과 비교 집단에 각각 20명씩 무선 배정하였다. 16주 동안 실험 집단은 노래부르기 중심의 통합적 음악교육 활동이 이루어졌고, 비교 집단은 교사가 계획한 생활주제별 노래부르기와 음악 활동이 이루어졌다. 박찬옥 외(2010)의 ‘유아 음악 능력’ 검사 도구를 활용하여 유아의 음악 능력을 측정하였으며, 수집 된 연구 자료는 t-검증을 하여 실험처치의 효과를 분석하였다.
분석한 결과, 노래부르기 중심의 통합적 음악 교육 활동을 실시한 실험 집단이 비교 집단보다 전체 음악 능력 점수와 하위의 노래부르기, 신체표현하기, 음악감상하기 점수가 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 악기연주하기 영역에서는 실험 집단과 비교 집단의 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 노래부르기 중심의 통합적 음악 교육 접근이 유아의 음악 능력을 증진시키는데 효과적이며, 지속적으로 악기를 탐색하고 연주하는 경험을 할 수 있도록 해야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to know the effectiveness of the integrated music education to children especially in singing activity. Subjects of the study are 40 children in total under 5 years old, assigning 20 children each for a experimental group and a comparative group. During 16 weeks, the experimental group conducted the integrated music education especially in singing activity, on the other hand, the comparative group conducted thematic singing activity planned by teachers and musical activities relating with themes. This study measured children’s musical ability using a testing tool of ‘Children Musical Ability’ by Bak Chan-ok et al. (2010), and the collected research materials was analyzed its effectiveness of test treatment by t-Test.
In the result, the experimental group which conducted the integrated music education especially in singing activity had meaningfully high testing point in the general musical ability and singing, physical expression and music appreciation as the subdirectories than the comparative group. In the sector of playing the musical instrument, there was no meaningful difference between the two groups. This result says that continuous experience to playing the musical instrument should be provided and the integrated approach in singing activity could be effective to enhance children’s musical ability.
