저소득가정 아동의 사회적 지지가 학교 적응에 미치는 영향 -행복감의 매개 효과를 중심으로- = Impact of Social Support on Children's School Adjustment in Low Income Families -Mediating Factor of Happiness-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between social support, happiness, and school adjustment in low income families and the mediating effects of happiness between social support and school adjustment. For this study, 200 children (from 4th to 6th grade) attending 18 community child center were selected in Seoul and Kyonggi.
The major findings were as follows：First, social support affected children's school adjustment and happiness.. Also, happiness affected school adjustment. Second, social support was positively related to children's school adjustment and happiness. Finally, Happiness was identified as a mediating factor in affect of social support to school adjustment. In other words, social support is indirectly correlated with school adjustment through the medium of happiness.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 저소득가정 아동의 사회적 지지, 행복감, 그리고 학교적응의 관계를 밝히려는 시도에서 이루어졌으며 저소득가정 아동의 사회적 지지가 학교적응에 영향을 미치는데 있어 행복감이 매개변수로 작용하는지 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 서울, 경기 지역의 지역아동센터 18개소를 접촉하여 센터를 이용하는 4, 5, 6학년 아동 202명을 대상으로 사회적지지, 행복감, 학교적응에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였고 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째 사회적 지지가 학교적응에, 행복감이 학교적응에, 사회적 지지가 행복감에 각각 영향을 미치는 예측변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 저소득가정 아동의 사회적 지지, 행복감, 학교적응 변인간 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다. 또한 행복감의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 사회적 지지가 학교적응에 영향을 미치는데 있어 행복감이 유의한 수준에서 매개효과를 나타내는 것을 보여 주었다. 즉 사회적 지지가 학교적응에 직접적 영향을 미침과 동시에 행복감을 매개로 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
