        WAN Ting-yan’s Learning of Innate Knowledge Based on Zhouyi

        王陽明再傳弟子万廷言以《周易》中的乾元、坤復之際、坎離闡釋良知道體, 以艮背爲核心, 衍生出无欲主靜養澄靜源、止至善、止无所止三層次的致良知工夫。万廷言早年于石莲洞以艮背工夫而入, 調停探索幾二十年后, 匿迹韬光, 杜門三十余年, 極深硏幾而證沖然恬愉之境。万廷言傳承江右羅洪先的艮背致良知與浙中王畿的先天正心學, 其良知學是江右與浙中王門發展中的匯合点, 幷有從良知學向止修學轉折的傾向, 是良知學發展中的重要環節。 WAN Ting-yan, who belongs to the second generation of WANG Yang-ming’s disciples, succeeds the learning of innate knowledge based on Zhouyi. Wan Ting-yan focuses on Qian (heaven), Kun (earth), Fu (return), Kan (water), and Li (fire) in the Zhouyi to exposit the innate knowledge. Centralized on self-cultivation efforts of Kenbei (to abide at the back of the body) , Wan Ting-yan’s efforts include to eradicate desire and emphasize meditation, to abide in the highest good , and to abide without effort. In his twenties, WAN Ting-yan aims for a tranquil state without sense disturbance at Shiliandong, and he practices and explores almost twenty years since then. In his last thirty years, WAN Ting-yan recluses and immerses himself in the Zhouyi, and he reaches the tranquil, lively and dynamic spiritual realm. Wan Ting-yan inherits Luo Hong-xian and WANG Ji’s learning of innate knowledge, and he also has a trend to abide in the highest good. Wan Ting-yan plays an important role in the Yang-ming school.         Gut Microbiome Alterations and Functional Prediction in Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria Patients

        The effects of the gut microbiome on both allergy and autoimmunity in dermatological diseases have been indicated in several recent studies. Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) is a disease involving allergy and autoimmunity, and there is no report detailing the role of microbiota alterations in its development. This study was performed to identify the fecal microbial composition of CSU patients and investigate the different compositions and potential genetic functions on the fecal microbiota between CSU patients and normal controls. The gut microbiota of CSU patients and healthy individuals were obtained by 16s rRNA massive sequencing. Gut microbiota diversity and composition were compared, and bioinformatics analysis of the differences was performed. The gut microbiota composition results showed that Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria, and Verrucomicrobia were dominant microbiota in CSU patients. The differential analysis showed that relative abundance of the Proteobacteria (p = 0.03), Bacilli (p = 0.04), Enterobacterales (p = 0.03), Enterobacteriaceae (p = 0.03) was significantly increased in CSU patients. In contrast, the relative abundance of Megamonas, Megasphaera, and Dialister (all p < 0.05) in these patients significantly decreased compared with healthy controls. The different microbiological compositions impacted normal gastrointestinal functions based on function prediction, resulting in abnormal pathways, including transport and metabolism. We found CSU patients exhibited gut microbiota dysbiosis compared with healthy controls. Our results indicated CSU is associated with gut microbiota dysbiosis and pointed out that the bacterial taxa increased in CSU patients, which might be involved in the pathogenesis of CSU. These results provided clues for future microbial-based therapies on CSU.

        Response Surface Methodology for Optimizing the Preparation Process of Cellulose Acetate/Polylactic Acid Nonwoven Surgical Gown Material

        In view of the problems that traditional woven surgical gowns are prone to cross infection in blocking blood andliquid spillage, cellulose acetate (CA)/polylactic acid (PLA) nonwoven materials were prepared to improve the functionalrequirements of surgical materials in combination with the rapidly developing green fibers. Fiber mixing ratio, fiber webareal weight and water jet pressure were selected to optimize the preparation process of cellulose acetate/polylactic acid (CA/PLA) nonwoven materials with moisture permeability and filtration efficiency. The results showed that the fiber mixing ratiowas 49:51, and the fiber web areal weight was 130 g/m2, and the water jet pressure was 7 MPa. Under this process, moisturepermeability is 5240.86 g/(m2·h), and the filtration efficiency is 38.12 %, which is close to the theoretical value. It shows thatthe response surface method has practical application value, indicating that the response surface method has practicalapplication value, and can provide a theoretical basis for the preparation process parameters of barrier and comfort nonwovensurgical gowns at the same time.

        Comparative analysis of the Down syndrome hippocampal non-coding RNA transcriptomes using a mouse model

        Background Down syndrome (DS), caused by trisomy 21, is the most common human chromosomal disorder. Hippocampalabnormalities have been believed to be responsible for the DS developmental cognitive deficits. Cumulative evidences indicatedthat non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) participated in brain development and function. Currently, few was known whetherdysregulated ncRNAs existed in DS whether the dysregulated ncRNAs played important pathology roles in DS. Objective The purpose of this study was generating an overview map of the dysregulated ncRNAs in DS, including themicroRNA (miRNA), long ncRNA (lncRNA) and circular RNA (circRNAs). DS mouse models are invaluable tools forfurther mechanism and therapy studies. Methods The well-studied DS mouse model Dp(16)1/Yey was used in this study as it contains the trisomy of the whole humanchromosome 21 syntenic region on mouse chromosomes 16. Hippocampi were isolated from pups of seven-days-old. Librariesfor miRNA, lncRNA and circRNAs were constructed separately, and the next generation sequencing method was utilized. Results Differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs, lncRNAs and circRNAs were reported. Relative few regulating relationshipwere found between the DE miRNAs and DE mRNAs. LncRNAs originated from the trisomic regions expressed in clusters,but not all of them were 1.5-fold increased expressed. Dramatic DE circular RNAs were found in the DS hippocampus. The host genes of the DE circRNAs were enriched on functions which were well-known impaired in DS, e.g. long-termpotentiation,glutamatergic synapse, and GABAergic synapse. Conclusions We generated the first DS developmental hippocampal ncRNA transcriptome map. This work laid foundationsfor further investigations on role of ncRNAs in hippocampal functions.

        Basement Design for Vibration Reduction of High-Rise Buildings under Metro Operation

        Vibration induced by metro operation on the underground line is transmitted to the buildings above the line, which adversely affects on the normal life and work of human in the building. To study this problem, based on the plate-shell vibration theory, a plate-column-plate coupled model is constructed to analyze the influence of plate thickness, plate elastic modulus and column arrangement on the vibration in mechanism firstly. Relying on a practical engineering problem, two models are established, namely a train-track coupled dynamic model and a monolithic track bed-tunnel-soil-building model, loading fastener force from the train-track coupled dynamic model on the monolithic track bed, vibration propagates to high-rise building through soil-building coupling. Field test is conducted to verify the reliability of the numerical model. On the basis, the vibration law of building under different basement floor thicknesses, basement floor material and arrangement of non-permanent columns are studied. Results show that changing the basement design parameters has different effects. The Z vibration level of building floor decreases with the increase of basement floor thickness. Basement floor thickness increases by 0.02 m, the Z vibration level of the floor decreased by 1.4 – 2.2 dB at most. The decrease of elastic modulus leads to a slight decrease of the Z vibration level of building, the change is less than 1 dB. Without changing the arrangement of basement load-bearing columns, reducing non-permanent structural columns significantly reduces the Z vibration level, with attenuation of up to 5.1 dB.

        CASE REPORT : Melkersson-Rosenthal Syndrome with Genitalia Involved in a 12-Year-Old Boy

        Melkersson.Rosenthal syndrome (MRS) is an uncommon granulomatous disease characterized by the triad of relapsing facial paralysis, orofacial swelling, and fissured tongue. Genital swelling in MRS is rarely reported. We presented the first case of complete MRS with genital swelling in a child. Biopsy examinations of both the child`s lower lip and penis showed noncaseating granuloma and intralymphatic granuloma infiltration. No symptoms or signs of other systemic disease (Crohn`s disease or sarcoidosis) were observed after 2 years of follow-up. Genetic screening for CARD15/NOD2 in this patient showed negative, which further confirmed the diagnosis of MRS. Eleven other cases of suspected complete or incomplete MRS with genitalia involved were reviewed. Our case emphasizes the specific clinical feature of MRS with genitalia involved, which was genetically different from Crohn’s disease and could be an independent entity. Lymphatic obstruction is responsible for localized edema in MRS. (Ann Dermatol 28(2) 232∼236, 2016)

        Dynamic analysis of metro vehicle traveling on a high-pier viaduct under crosswind in Chongqing

        Due to the rugged terrain, metro lines in mountain city across numerous wide rivers and deep valleys, resulting in instability of high-pier bridge and insecurity of metro train under crosswind. Compared with the conditions of no-wind, crosswind triggers severer vibration of the dynamic system; compared with the short-pier viaduct, the high-pier viaduct has worse stability under crosswind. For these reasons, the running safety of the metro vehicle traveling on a high-pier viaduct under crosswind is analyzed to ensure the safe operation in metro lines in mountain cities. In this paper, a dynamic model of the metro vehicle-track-bridge system under crosswind is established, in which crosswind loads model considering the condition of wind zone are built. After that, the evaluation indices and the calculation parameters have been selected, moreover, the basic characteristics of the dynamic system with high-pier under crosswind are analyzed. On this basis, the response varies with vehicle speed and wind speed are calculated, then the corresponding safety zone is determined. The results indicate that, crosswind triggers drastic vibration to the metro vehicle and high-pier viaduct, which in turn causes running instability of the vehicle. The corresponding safety zone for metro vehicle traveling on the high-pier is proposed, and the metro traffic on the high-pier bridge under crosswind should not exceed the corresponding limited vehicle speed to ensure the running safety.

        Running safety of metro train over a high-pier bridge subjected to fluctuating crosswind in mountain city

        Due to the rugged terrain, metro lines in mountain city across numerous wide rivers and deep valleys, resulting in instability of high-pier bridge and insecurity of metro train subjected to fluctuating crosswind. To ensure the safe operation in metro lines in mountain cities, running safety of the metro train over the high-pier bridge under crosswind is analyzed in this paper. Firstly, the dynamic model of the wind-train-bridge (WTB) system is built, in which the speed-up effect of crosswind is fully considered. On the basis of time domain analysis, the basic characteristics of the WTB system with high-pier are analyzed. Afterwards, the dynamic responses varies with train speed and wind speed are calculated, and the safety zone of metro train over a high-pier bridge subjected to fluctuating crosswind in mountain city is determined. The results indicate that, fluctuating crosswind triggers drastic vibration to the metro train and high-pier bridges, which in turn causes running instability of the train. For this reason, the corresponding safety zone for metro train running on the high-pier is proposed, and the metro traffic on the high-pier bridge should be closed as the mean wind speed of standard height reaches 9 m/s (15.6 m/s for the train).

        Plumbagin inhibits proliferation and promotes apoptosis of ovarian granulosa cells in polycystic ovary syndrome by inactivating PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway

        Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is recognized as a general endocrine disease and reproductive disorder. Although evidence indicates that PCOS has a complex etiology and genetic basis, the pathogenic mechanisms and signal pathway in PCOS remain unclear. In this study, the normal structure of follicle and corpus luteum were observed, and no cyst nor hyperemia was observed under the light microscopic study with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining. Eestosterone and progesterone were evaluated by radioimmunoassay in rat serum. The alterations of proliferative ability and cell cycle distribution of each group were assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK8) assay and flow cytometry. The protein expression of p-mTOR/mTOR, p-PI3K/PI3K, p-AKT/AKT, and GAPDH were analyzed by western blotting. Both doses of PLB could benefit the ovarian morphology and polycystic property. PLBinduced a suppress effect on the proliferation of rat ovarian granulosa cells. In addition, PLB also induced concentrationdependent apoptosis in rat ovarian granulosa cells. The rat ovarian granulosa cells treated with PLB that the expression levels of p-AKT, p-mTOR, and p-PI3K were significantly decreased in a concentration-dependent manner. PLB not only plays a critical role in attenuating the pathology and polycystic property changes in the ovary but can also induce rat ovarian granulosa cell apoptosis through the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signal pathway. This study showed the innovative role of PLB in the pathogenesis of PCOS and provides a new therapeutic modality for the treatment of PCOS.

        Constraints on sulfide saturation by crustal contamination in the Shitoukengde Cu-Ni deposit, East Kunlun orogenic belt, northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China

        The Shitoukengde Cu-Ni deposit is located in the eastern part of the East Kunlun Orogenic Belt (EKOB). The overall complex underwent emplacement into the surrounding rock, including the gneiss and marble. The ore-bodies exist in complex I, which is composed of peridotite, pyroxenite, and gabbro. The petrogeochemical characteristics of the rocks show that the m/f values range from 1.93 to 5.97, and the Fe3+/ΣFe ratios of the spinel are < 0.3, indicating that the Shitoukengde complexes have the potential to form a Cu-Ni ore deposit. Based on the evidence of marble and gneiss xenoliths, there are higher CaO and Al2O3 contents in the peridotite and pyroxene, there are Nb and Ta depletions, in the Shitoukengde; these results indicate that the ore-forming parental magma has been obviously contaminated by crustal material during the evolution process and that the materials responsible for the contamination mainly originated from the middle-upper crust. The mafic-ultramafic complex, which is closed to marble, has higher CaO and Al2O3 contents; higher (87Sr/86Sr)i values and lower Ni contents; thus, it is reasonable to infer that the Shitoukengde mafic-ultramafic rocks assimilated some marble, and the contamination of marble without sulfide suppresses the sulfide saturation. The pyroxenite with better mineralization is mainly orthopyroxene, and the increase in the sulfur isotope values in the pyroxenite and peridotite is accompanied by an increase in the Ni content; these results suggest that the SiO2 and S of biotite-plagioclase gneisses, especially the S addition, were important for the Shitoukengde intrusion to reach sulfide saturation. The whole-rock Ni content in the peridotite shows a positive relationship with the FeO content of spinel, indicating that the crystallization of spinel has little effect on sulfide saturation. The capable of crystallizing olivine with Fo content as high as 89.3 mol% and olivine Fo value exhibits a positive relationship with the olivine NiO content, indicating that olivine fractional crystallization did not play a significant role in sulfide saturation. The δ34SV-CDT value of the giant Xiarihamu deposit is much higher than that of Shitoukengde. The degree of crustal S contamination is probably responsible for the difference in the scale and ore grade of the Cu-Ni sulfide deposits in the East Kunlun area. The above indicators could guide the exploration and evaluation of similar deposits in the EKOB.
