        고객여정지도를 활용한 VR 쇼핑 플랫폼 맨손 제스처 어휘 개발

        VR 쇼핑환경에서 맨손 제스처 인터랙션은 디바이스를 이용한 인터랙션 방식보다 사용자 몰입이 용이하다. 맨손 제스처 동작과 인터랙션의 의미를 맵핑하는 ‘맨손 제스처 어휘’ 개발은 주로 Wobbrock 등(2005)이 개발한 ‘추측성 연구(Guessability study)’ 과정에 따라 진행된다. 그런데 이 과정에서 연구자가 과업을 정의하기 때문에 사용자의 수요를 반영하기 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 이를 개선하기 위하여, 별도의 과업 정의 단계를 추측성 연구 방법에 추가하고자 하였다. 현장 관찰을 기반으로 고객여정지도(CJM)를 제작하여 쇼핑 사용자들이 필요로 하는 과업들을 정의하고, 정의된 과업을 기준으로 제스처 어휘 개발과정을 진행하여 사용자가 필요에 따른 제스처 어휘들을 도출하고자 하였다. 먼저, 사용자 관찰과 고객여정지도를 통해 쇼핑 활동에서 필요로 하는 12가지 과업을 도출하였다. 다음으로, 12명의 참여자의 아이디어를 기반으로 295개 제스처를 수집하고, 일치율을 계산해서, 12개의 제스처 어휘를 도출하였다. 마지막으로, 도출된 제스처들에 대한 사용성 평가에서 기억 가능성, 직관성, 적합성이 평균 이상으로, VR 쇼핑 플랫폼의 과업 수행에 적합한 제스처 어휘들이 도출되었다고 판단할 수 있었다. Freehand gesture interaction is easier for users to immerse in than the interaction method using a device in the VR shopping environment. The development of ‘freehand gesture vocabulary’, which matches the meaning of freehand gestures and interactions, is mainly conducted according to the ‘Guessability study’ process developed by Wobbrock et al. (2005). However, this process does not adequately address the needs of the user as the researcher defines the task. To improve it, it was necessary to add a task definition step to the guessability study. Using field observation and Customer Journey Map (CJM), the tasks required by shopping users were defined, and the gesture vocabulary development process was carried out with the defined tasks to derive gesture vocabularies. First, 12 tasks required for shopping activities were derived through user observation and CJM. And then, 295 gestures were collected from the ideas of 12 participants, the agreement rate was calculated, and 12 gesture vocabularies were derived. Finally, in the usability evaluation, it could be determined that the memorability, intuition, and suitability were above average, and gesture vocabularies suitable for the task performance of the VR shopping platform were derived.

        Anti-fouling characteristic of carbon nanotubes hollow fiber membranes by filtering natural organic pollutants

        Membrane fouling is a universal problem for conventional membrane filtration that usually causes a deterioration in membrane performance. We used electro-assisted carbon nanotubes hollow fiber membranes (CNTs-HFMs) to investigate the anti-fouling properties using natural organic pollutants. Benefiting from the electro-assistance, the permeation flux of humic acid solution using CNTs-HFMs was 190.20 L/(m2·h·bar), which was about 1.5- and 4.4- times higher than those of CNTs-HFMs without electro-assistance and traditional polyvinylidene fluoride hollow-fiber membranes (PVDF-HFMs). And the permeation fluxes of bovine serum albumin, sodium alginate and supernatant of anaerobic bioreactor also presented similar results. The average COD removal rate of CNTs-HFMs (66.8%) at 1.0 V was higher than that of CNTs-HFMs without electro-assistance and PVDF-HFMs, which can be attributed to the formation of electrostatic repulsive force. It could reduce the deposition of pollutants on membrane surface under electroassistance.

        Novel blood-based hypomethylation of SH3BP5 is associated with very early-stage lung adenocarcinoma

        Background: Early detection is essential to improve the survival of lung cancer (LC). The quantitative measurement of specific DNA methylation changes in the peripheral blood could provide an efficient strategy for the detection of early cancer. Objective: We applied a candidate approach and assess the association between blood-based SH3BP5 methylation and the risk of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) in a case-control cohort. Methods: The methylation level of four CpG sites in the promoter of SH3BP5 gene was quantitatively determined by mass spectrometry in 171 very early-stage LUAD patients (93.6% LUAD at stage I) and 190 age and gender-matched controls. The logistic regression and non-parametric tests were used for the statistical analyses. Results: We observed a significant association between decreased methylation of SH3BP5_CpG_4 in the peripheral blood and increased risk of LUAD (odds ratio (OR) per-10% methylation = 1.51, P = 0.006, FDR = 0.024), and even for the LUAD at stage I (OR per-10% methylation = 1.53, P = 0.006, FDR = 0.024). Moreover, the lower quartile of SH3BP5_CpG_4 methylation was correlated with increased risk for LUAD with a P trend of 0.011. Further investigation disclosed that the hypomethylation of SH3BP5_CpG_4 was mostly associated with LUAD in younger subjects (OR per-10% methylation = 2.02, P = 0.010, age < 55 years old) and probably could be enhanced by advance stage. Conclusion: Our study revealed an association between blood-based SH3BP5 hypomethylation and very early-stage LUAD, which provides a novel support for the blood-based methylation signatures as a potential marker for the evaluation of cancer risk.

        The Optimum Methionine to Methionine Plus Cystine Ratio for Growing Pigs Determined Using Plasma Urea Nitrogen and Nitrogen Balance

        The objective of this study was to determine the optimum ratio of methionine to methionine plus cystine for growing pigs. A nitrogen balance trial was conducted using a total of 21 barrows (Large WhiteLandrace) over two replicates. The initial body weight was $20.36{\pm}1.22kg$ (mean${\pm}$SD) in the first replicate and $23.54{\pm}1.02kg$ (mean${\pm}$SD) in the second. For each replicate, the 21 pigs were randomly assigned to one of seven dietary treatments with three observations per treatment. The diets included a methionine and cystine-deficient basal diet with all other essential nutrients meeting nutrient requirements and six diets formulated with graded levels of DL-methionine (0.00, 0.03, 0.06, 0.10, 0.13, 0.16%) and $L-Cystine{\cdot}HCl{\cdot}H_2O$ (0.19, 0.15, 0.11, 0.07, 0.04, 0.00%). This resulted in ratios of methionine to methionine plus cystine of 41.3, 29.6, 35.3, 41.2, 46.0, 51.6 and 57.5%. Each experimental period lasted 12 days consisting of a seven-day adaptation period followed by a five-day total collection of urine and feces. During the collection period, pigs were fed 900 g/day for the first replicate and 1,200 g/day for the second replicate. The feed was provided in three equal portions at 0800, 1500, and 2200 h daily. Pigs had ad libitum access to water after feeding. There was a linear (p<0.01) and quadratic (p<0.01) effect on daily gain and feed conversion as the ratio of methionine to methionine plus cystine increased. Pigs receiving the diets providing a methionine to methionine plus cystine ratio of 51.6% had the best daily gain and feed conversion. Plasma urea nitrogen was also lowest for this treatment. Nitrogen retention increased (p<0.01) as the relative proportion of methionine increased up to 51.6% and then a downward trend occurred at 57.5%. The quadratic regression model, as well as one- and two- slope regression line models, were used to determine the optimum ratio of methionine to methionine plus cystine. Eliminating the 35.3% methionine to methionine plus cystine treatment resulted in $R^2$ values in excess of 0.92. The optimal ratio of methionine to methionine plus cystine was estimated to be 54.15% for nitrogen retention and 56.72% for plasma urea nitrogen.

        Intracerebral Microdialysis Technique and its Application on Brain Pharmacokinetic- Pharmacodynamic Study

        Intracerebral microdialysis (IC-MD) has been developed as a well-validated and powerful technique for decades. As a practical sampling tool, it can gain the continuous dialysates of endogenous and exogenous substances in extracellular fluid (ECF) of awake freely moving animals. Also, variform IC-MD probes (IC-MDPs) have grown more exquisite. The implantation of the IC-MDP in certain tissue of brain allows monitor drug distribution and measure drug and corresponding neurotransmitters levels in brain ECF after administration for brain pharmacokineticpharmacodynamic (B-PK-PD) study. So it is suitable for IC-MD to B-PK-PD study (IC-MD/BPK- PD). The performance of IC-MD/B-PK-PD can not only elevate the degree of precision and accuracy of experimental data, minimize the individual difference by reduced number of animals, but also give important information for the prediction and optimization of drug effective dose in preclinical study. In this review, we have discussed various IC-MD/B-PK-PD studies of analgesic, antiepileptic and antidepressant drug. The role of IC-MD/B-PK-PD in confirming and assessing the drug effect before clinic trials is highlighted.

        Preparation and antifouling performance of PVDF-DCOIT composite hollow fiber membranes

        Membrane fouling is the main bottleneck that hinders the applications of membrane bioreactors (MBRs). 4,5-Dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (DCOIT), as an environmentally-acceptable antifouling biocide, was mixed with Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) to fabricate hollow fiber membrane via non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS), which was able to effectively improve the antifouling performance of the membranes in this work. Overall research of the prepared membrane revealed that membranes with 3 wt% DCOIT exhibited the optimum antifouling performance. With the addition of DCOIT, hydrophilicity and pure water flux of 3 wt% DCOIT membranes maintained remarkable improvement by 22.9% and 64.6% than that of membranes without DCOIT. Meanwhile, the surface morphologies of 3wt% DCOIT membranes were smoother than the control group in terms of SEM and AFM images, which was beneficial to alleviate membrane fouling. In antifouling experiments, the flux variation rate of membranes with 3 wt% DCOIT filtrated in bull serum albumin, sodium alginate and humic acid solution were 81.42%, 54.25%, 50.5%, while membrane without DCOIT were 64.6%, 24.72% and 29%, respectively. Similar results were obtained by filtrating anaerobic sludge for 24 h. The flux variations of 3 wt% DCOIT membranes were 59.4%, 47.8% and 46.0%, respectively in three stages. However, the flux variations of membranes without DCOIT were 44.8%, 36.7% and 19.8%, respectively, which showed better antifouling ability and higher flux recovery efficiency. The novel membranes would provide some theoretical basis and technical support for the rational combinations in elevating the overall antifouling properties of membranes.

      • Decreased Expression of LKB1 Correlates with Poor Prognosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Patients Undergoing Hepatectomy

        Aim: To study any correlation of LKB1 expression with prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cases. Methods: A total of 70 HCC patients and 20 primary intrahepatic stone patients in the first affiliated hospital of Wenzhou Medical College were enrolled in this study. LKB1 expression was detected by immunohistochemistry. Patients were followed-up and prognostic factors were evaluated. Result: LKB1 expression was decreased in the HCC samples. Loss of LKB1 expression in HCC was significantly related to histologic grade (P=0.010), vascular invasion (P=0.025) and TMN stage (P=0.011). Patients showing negative LKB1 expression had a significantly shorter disease-free and overall survival than those with positive expression (P = 0.001, P=0.000, respectively). Multivariate Cox regression analysis indicated that LKB1 expression level was an independent factor of survival (P = 0.033). Conclusion: HCC patients with decreased expression LKB1 have a poor prognosis. The loss of LKB1 expression is correlated with a lower survival rate.

        Adaptive Pinning Synchronization of Complex Networks with Partial Delay and Noise Coupling

        In this paper, we investigate the adaptive pinning synchronization of complex networks with partial delay and noise coupling. First, more realistic complex networks with partial delay and noise perturbation are established. Combining the advantages of the adaptive control method and pinning control technology, a novel coupling is designed to realize the synchronization. Several sufficient criteria for almost sure outer synchronization are developed based on the LaSalle invariance principle for stochastic differential equations. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.
