        Hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers for surface-induced sodium-ion storage

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Surface-driven charge storage materials based on both electrochemical double layer (EDL) formation and pseudocapacitive behavior can deliver high energy and power capabilities with long-lasting cycling performance. On the other hand, the electrochemical performance is strongly dependent on the material properties, requiring sophisticated electrode design with a high active surface area and a large number of redox-active sites. In this study, hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers (HN-PNFs) were fabricated from electrospun polyacrylonitrile nanofibers by simple heating with KOH. The HN-PNFs have a hierarchically nanoporous structure and an exceptionally high specific surface area of 3,950.7m<SUP>2</SUP> g<SUP>−1</SUP> as well as numerous redox-active heteroatoms (C/O and C/N ratio of 10.6 and 16.8, respectively). These unique material properties of HN-PNFs resulted in high reversible Na-ion capacity of ∼292mAhg<SUP>−1</SUP> as well as rapid kinetics and stable cycling performance in the cathodic potential range (1-4.5V vs. Na<SUP>+</SUP>/Na). Furthermore, energy storage devices based on HN-PNFs showed a remarkably high specific energy of ∼258 Wh kg<SUP>−1</SUP> at ∼245Wkg<SUP>−1</SUP> as well as a high specific power of ∼21,500Wkg<SUP>−1</SUP> at ∼78 Wh kg<SUP>−1</SUP>, with long and stable cycling behaviors over 2,000 cycles.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers (HN-PNFs) were fabricated. </LI> <LI> HN-PNFs have a high specific surface area of ∼3,950m<SUP>2</SUP> g<SUP>−1</SUP> and numerous heteroatoms. </LI> <LI> HN-PNFs exhibit high capacities of ∼292mAhg<SUP>−1</SUP> and great rate/cycling performances. </LI> <LI> High energy (258Whkg<SUP>−1</SUP>) and high power (21,500Wkg<SUP>−1</SUP>) are achieved. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>Hierarchically nanoporous pyropolymer nanofibers (HN-PNFs) fabricated from electrospun polyacrylonitrile nanofibers by simple heating with KOH exhibited high electrochemical performance for Na-ion storage.</P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

        The question survey on the realities of the T'aekwondo facilities under private management result in a quarter tendency respond to better the male teacher than schoolmistress. After all, for popularization, the policy make an incentive offer to the male teacher better than schoolmistress consider, therefore ratio of female and male teacher is equal. The survey about type of facilities occupies an entire private management and the T'aekwondo facilities rely on private management because corporate, public and office facilities are not nearly. So, urgent questionsan make use of auxiliary organ of a university and public, office facilities. An aspect of facilities and equipment, significance test for the location depend on province and district result in somewhat discrepancy. That is, duty time of teacher depend on province better than district is somewhat much. T'aekwondo facilities and conditions for the location depend on province and district is somewhat discrepancy, but income of a month is no discrepancy. The period of duty better than other conditions an effect influence on income of a month. The most T'aekwondo teacher work on average 9 hours a day(about 46 %) and average duty period is between 2 and 3 year, if average duty period more than 4 years, tendency to workshop change or convert other types of business. therefore event is made from setting up concept of his whole workshop. The net payment, income of a month, most of teacher is between \1,000,000 and \1,200,000 , high frequency and the low income bracket better than other the kind of occupation. So, the system about payment based on ability and result, a bonus become established

      • 클랩(Clap)과 노말(Normal) 스케이트 착용에 따른 남ㆍ여 스피드 스케이트 출발 구간의 운동학적 분석

        The purpose of this study is to examine the kinematic characteristics of starting phase of players weared clap and normal skate in speed skating. The subjects of this study were current members of high ranked skaters in university. The Direct Linear Transformation(DLT) technique was employed to obtain 3-D position coordination of 22 joint points. Butter-worth low-pass filtering method was used to data smoothing at cut-off frequency of 7.4Hz. From the results of this study, the following conclusions were drawn; 1.At the of landing, male athlete showed slightly fast time in the first left-step and they also showed take-off by fast swing motion during gliding. 2.To get propel acceleration, female athlete showed large tranverse displacement and, on the other hand, male athlete showed large horizontal displacement. According to this results, COG showed steep change of motion in the high position during starting. 3.In the velocity of COG, both male an female athlete show a gradual rise-pattern of the velocity rate, In the velocity of skate front blade, they showed the swift change of the velocity during the second and third phase. 4.In the front angle of trunk, both and female athlete showed the big motion of trunk by the change of angle. In the angle of lower-segments, the better record athlete have, the faster motion of flexion and extention. Especially, female athlete showed the flexion of the angle-change and do not fast swing. In the knee, male athlete show take-off motion as increasing angle of left knee during starting, On the other hand, female athlete showed unnecessary pre-motion by decreasing knee angle and increasing it again.

        According as the current needs of low temperature in semiconductor manufacturing process, PECVD using low temperature and high deposition rate is becoming more of a concern. However, PECVD equipment has the defect possibility on the interface between substrates and gate oxide layer, because ions or electrons with much high energy clash the interface. In this study, we embarked on the experiment with Statistical Design of Experiment and then also analyze which parameters influence on the characteristic of silicon dioxide filems. We finally made a constructive proposal for process optimization conditions.

      • 한·일 엘리트 여자 축구선수의 각근력 특성 비교

        한국과 일본 여자 축구 대표선수의 슬관절을 중심으로 신전 및 굴곡운동시 발휘되는 각근력의 근기능을 평가, 비교하기 위해서 한국 여자 축구 선수 15명과 일본 여자 축구선수 17명 총 32명을 대상으로 등속성 근력측정장치인 사이백스(Cybex-3)를 이용하여 근력, 근파워 및 근지구력을 측정, 비교 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 한국과 일본 여자 축구 대표선수의 등속성 근력발휘는 신전 및 굴곡력 모두 각 부하속도에서 차이가 없는것으로 나타났으나 느린부하속도에서는 한국 여자 축구선수, 빠른 부하속도에서는 일본여자 축구선수가 다소 높은 것으로 나타났다. 2. 동측근력의 균형적 발달에 있어서 유의한 차이는 없으나 일본 여자 축구 대표선수가 측정부하속도 모두에서 한국 여자 축구 대표선수보다 조금 높은 것으로 나타났다. 3. 240°/sec 부하속도에서 50회 신전 및 굴곡반복 운동시 발휘된 평균파워는 신전력에 있어서 한국선수가 일본선수보다 유의한 차이(p=.012)로 낮게 발휘되었으며 굴곡력에서도 낮게 발휘되었으나 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 4. 240°/sec 부하속도에서 50회 신전 및 굴곡반복 운동시 발휘된 총일량과 근지구력비에서 신전력 총일량에서는 한국 여자축구선수가 유의한 차이(p=.021)로 높게 발휘되었으나 굴곡 총일량, 신전 및 굴곡 근지구력비에서는 두 집단간 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이와 같은 결과로 한국 여자 축구선수의 경우 경기력에서 우수한 일본선수와 전체적 체력 평가에 의한 비교분석이 이루어지지 않았으나 축구선수에게 매우 중요한 각근력에서 차이가 없는 점을 고려할 때 한국여자 축구경기의 경우 경기력 향상을 위한 노력으로 많은 실전 경험과 기술 트레이닝이 이루어진다면 일본 여자축구와 비교할 수 있는 경기력 향상이 기대될 수 있을 것으로 본다. The purpose of this was to compare muscula strength, muscle power and muscle endurance for lower limber of Korean and Japan woman soccer player. The Cybex-Ⅱ system of measurement equipment was used to measure these isokinetic muscle function. The subjects were 15 korean elite woman soccer player and 17 Japan elite player. The summary of this results is as following: 1. There was no difference in isokinetic strength of flexion and extension at all speed range between Japanese and Korean female soccer player. Korean players showed higher muscle strength at low speed but Japanese players revealed higher muscle strength at high load speed. 2. In terms of ipsilateral balance, Japanese players displayed higher results than Korean player but there was no significance. 3. Japanese players had a greater muscle mean power of extensor at 240°/sec than that of Korean players(p=.012) but there was no sinificance in muscle mean power of flexiors. 4. Regarding total work and muscle endurance ratio of flexiors and extensior, Korean players showed higher results in total work but the rest of them did not have significant differences.

      • A clinical study of skin cancer treated by mohs micrographic surgery over 5 years

        Background: Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) is a unique type of minimal marginal surgery, which offerssuperior cure rates to other options in the treatment of skin cancers. Objectives: Our purpose was to report our experience of MMS for treatment of skin cancer and to investigate the clinical characteristics and recurrence rate of the skin cancer. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 293 patients who had been diagnosed with skin cancer and had been treated by MMS and several reconstructive methods from May 2010 to May 2015. Results: The most common cancer was basal cell carcinoma (57.3%), followed by squamous cell carcinoma (37.8%). The local flap was the most common method to repair surgical defects (74.5%), followed by primary closure (17.64%). Recurrence after MMS was observed in 6 of 293 patients (2.0%). The minimum and maximum operative times of MMS were 112 and 307 minutes and the mean operative time was 149.9 minutes. The time percentages for a pathologic consult to the Department of Pathology per stage was 42.7%, 50.3%, 57.2% for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stages. Conclusion: MMS is a reliable and satisfactory method for the treatment of skin cancer and offers the low recurrence rate.

        High-throughput DNA hypermethylation profiling in different ovarian epithelial cancer subtypes using universal bead array.

        <P>DNA hypermethylation is common and plays a critical role in the regulation of gene expression. It is considered a major cause of carcinogenesis. High-throughput profiling method has been developed to analyze the methylation status of hundreds of pre-selected genes simultaneously. The aim of this study was to analyze promoter hypermethylation profiles of each subtype of ovarian epithelial cancer (OEC), to improve the understanding of the role of epigenetic silencing in carcinogenesis. DNA hypermethylation profiles on fresh frozen tissue samples of 5 serous, 3 mucinous, 5 endometrioid and 4 clear cell types of OEC, as well as 5 normal ovarian tissue samples as control. We used a high-throughput method for analyzing the hypermethylation status of 1,505 CpG loci selected from 871 genes simultaneously by GoldenGate Methylation Cancer Panel I (Illumina Human-6 v2 Expression BeadChip). Methylation status of seven genes was verified by methylation specific PCR (MSP). We identified 20, 37, 15 and 56 hypermethylated CpG locations in serous, mucinous, endometrioid and clear cell type OEC compared to control. Only 6 CpG loci were commonly hypermethylated across all subtypes of OEC. Hypermethylated loci of serous 17 (81.0%) and endometrioid type 10 (71.4%) were identical to that of clear cell type. However, mucinous type showed 17 peculiar loci (43.6%) out of 39 hypermethylated loci. The unique DNA hypermethylation patterns identified in different OEC subtypes suggest that their cause may involve different epigenetic mechanisms and the Bead chip used in this study is a useful tool to analyze DNA hypermethylation.</P>

      • A case of neurocutaneous melanosis

        Neurocutaneous melanocytosis(NCM) is a rare phakomatosis. It is characterized by giant (>20 cm in diameter or occupying >2% of the body surface area) or multiple congenital cutaneous nevi and leptomeningeal melanocytosis. It is often associated with many smaller satellite nevi. Most patients with neurocutaneous melanosis presented in the first 2 years of life with neurologic manifestations of increased intracranial pressure, mass lesions, or spinal cord compression. A 8-year-old girl with multiple congenital giant hairy nevi on her back, trunk, and head underwent resection of skin lesions 4 times. There was no family history of a similar condition. On examination, the child was fully conscious and had no dysmorphic features. There were eleven well defined hairy, hyperpigmented nevi with regular boarders seen all over her body. Magnetic resonance imaging and biopsy revealed the malignant melanoma of right temporal lobe. Unfortunately in spite of lobectomy and ventriculo-peritoneal shunt, she expired 1month thereafter due to the cardiac arrest. Herein, we report a rare case of neurocutaneous melonosis.

      • The effect of the combination therapy of cryotherapy and Fraxel laser in treatment of oral leukoplakia

        Oral leukoplakia is a white or gray patch that develops on the tongue, the inside of the cheek, or on the floor of the mouth. It is the mouth``s reaction to chronic irritation of the mucous membranes of the mouth. Leukoplakia patches can occur at any time in life, but it is most common in senior adults. A 66-year-old male presented with a whitish patch on the right lateral border of his tongue and lower lip that had lasted for several months. He appeared healthy and denied any prior medical problems. He had no subjective symptoms but the lesion had recently increased in size. He treated with cryotherapy only but it was not effective. So he treated with cryotherapy followed by fraxel laser on lower lip, respectively. More than 90% improvement was noticed after the ninth session. No significant adverse effects were noted. So we report a case of oral leukoplakia in 66 year-old male with cryotherapy followed by fraxel laser on lower lip.
