본 논문은 이질적 버스트 트래픽을 갖는 ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) 망에서 실시간 연결 수락 제어를 위한 유체 흐름 모델(fluid flow model)에 기반을 둔 실시간 알고리즘을 제안한다. 셀 손실 확률은 QOS(Quality of Service)의 기준이 되므로 제안된 실시간 알고리즘은 일정한 메모리 크기와 연결 요청의 수락 여부 즉, 연결 수락 여부의 결정을 위한 하나의 영역을 필요로 한다. 이러한 트래픽 소스 각 타입에 대한 셀 손실 확률은 트래픽 소스 타입 전체에 하나만 존재하더라도 요구를 충족 시킬 수 없으므로, 본 논문에서 제안된 실시간 알고리즘에 의해 산출되는 각각의 셀 손실확률에 충분한 상한선을 제공하는 전형적 트래픽 매개변수를 사용하여 성능을 분석한다.

It in vary difficult to guarantee the system security when security policy systems have different policy syntax in it. It means that policy data can't be transported correctly because the security negotiation could be failed. So, we have to verify the database of security policy through investigating the syntax and function of the security policy system whether wrong or not. This paper presents the parser, which is developed for the verification of security policy. The implemented SPSL parser makes offers to classify the error, to create the information of the verified security policy used for building the SPS DB and to give both the convenience of management and the flexibility of security policy.

The high water-absorption of lightweight aggregate causes a high slump loss and poor workability of concrete. A prewetting process is usually recommended to compensate for the workability problem, but its application needs more delicate consideration in field. A method is proposed to measure the additional water absorption of lightweight aggregate, and its application in cement paste and concrete mixes confirms the absorption amount remaining unaffected by the mix proportion. The additional water absorption in cement-based materials can be considered as a material property, and its value is smaller than the water absorption measured by a standard test method (watersoaking). Compensating the additional water absorption finally allows to use dry lightweight aggregates for concrete, which is more robust and stabler than taking a saturated surface-dry lightweight aggregates.

we proposed a grid connected peak load compensation system with high discharge current characteristics based on lithium polymer battery for development of the next generation power-station. The lithium polymer battery has faster discharge current characteristics than conventional battery, so that can compensate high active power demanded by load in a short time using the low capacity battery bank. Therefore, it is possible to control power leveling of grid by measuring storage energy of battery and active power which is needed from load. The validity of proposed system was verified through the simulation and experiment.

<P>In this paper, a interleaved soft switching boost converter (ISSBC) for a photovoltaic (PV) power-generation system is proposed. The topology used raises the efficiency for the dc/dc converter of the PV power conditioning system (PVPCS), and it minimizes switching losses by adopting a resonant soft-switching method. A detailed mode analysis of the proposed topology is presented. The feasibility of the proposed topology is experimentally verified for a 1.2-kW prototype. The experimental results imply that 97.28% efficiency is achieved under the full-load condition. Consequently, it is confirmed that the overall efficiency is increased by about 1.5% compared with the conventional hard switching interleaved boost converter.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>From Dy L<SUB>3</SUB>-edge extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopic analysis of Dy-doped Ge–As–S glass, we verified that both the coordination number and Dy–S distance are decreased in this representative chalcogenide glass compared to those in the Dy<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>3</SUB> crystalline counterpart. The strong covalent nature inherent in chemical bonds between the constituent atoms of Ge–As–S glass would be responsible for the enhanced covalency of the Dy–S bonds, which would then be sensitively related to the optical characteristics of the 4f↔4f transitions of Dy<SUP>3+</SUP> as well as the low rare-earth solubility exhibited by the Ge–As–S glass.</P>
