마이크로 유동 네트워크 설계를 위한 1차원 GUI 해석 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구

Nowadays. the development of Microfluidic chip (i.e. Biochip. Micro-total analysis system (μ-TAS) and LOC (Lab on a Chip)) becomes more active. and the microchannels to deliver fluid by pressure or electroosmotic forces tend to be more complex like electronic circuits or networks. For a simple network of channels. we may calculate the pressure and the flow rate easily by using suitable formula. But for complex network, it is not handy to obtain those information with such a simple way. For this reason. Graphic User Interface program which can rapidly give required information should be necessary for microchip designers. In this paper, we present a GUI program named 'MFNS: Micro Fluidic Network System' developed in our laboratory including simple theoretical formula. We applied our program to simple case and could get a result compared well with other numerical result. Further. we applied our program to several complex cases and obtained reasonable results.
CFX 와 HEEDS 를 이용한 사류펌프 임펠러-디퓨저 최적화방법

논문에서는 사류펌프의 성능을 향상시키는 최적화 방법을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 최적화 방법은 유동해석코드인 CFX 와 최적화 소프트웨어인 HEEDS 를 연계하는 프로세스로 이루어진다. CFX 는 유체기계해석 분야에서는 잘 알려진 소프트웨어로 해석결과의 신뢰성은 이미 검증되었으나, 새롭게 소개되고 있는 HEEDS 는 주로 구조해석 분야에서 최적화를 수행한 사례가 보고되어 있다. 이에 본 논문을 통해 유체기계에 적용하여 최적화 결과를 검토하였다. HEEDS 에는 SHERPA 라는 최적화 기법이 탑재되어 있으며, 다수의 설계변수를 설정할 수 있어 변수간의 교호작용 등을 효율적으로 검토할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 DOE 방법으로 최적화가 이루어진 사류펌프 임펠러에 대해 개발된 방법을 적용하여 최적화 결과의 타당성과 안정성을 검토하였으며, 같은 방법을 디퓨저에 적용하여 최적화 형상을 검토하였다. 본 논문에서 개발된 최적화 방법을 이용하여 사류펌프 최적화를 수행한 결과, DOE 방법을 이용한 설계보다 개선된 결과를 적절한 시간 내에 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. An optimization process was developed to improve mixed-flow pump performance. The optimization process was combined with CFX (a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code) and HEEDS (an optimization code) . CFX is a widely used CFD software for turbo machinery, whereas HEEDS, which uses the SHERPA algorithm, is a newly introduced optimization code. HEEDS can use a large number of optimization variables; thus, it is possible to effectively consider interaction effects. In this paper, an impeller model, which is already optimized with design of experiments (DOE), is used as the base model. The optimization process developed in this paper shows an improved design within an acceptable timeframe.

Renal papillary necrosis occurs most commonly in association with urinary tract infection, diabetes mellitus, sickle cell disease, vascular disease, and analgesic nephropathy. Clinical presentation may be related to symptoms of pyelonephritis such as flank pain, renal colic, hematuria, Proteinuria, recurrent fever. The necrotic tissue may be sloughed off, and the diagnosis can sometimes be made by finding piece of renal medullary tissue in the urine. Pyelography may demonstrate cavities and sinuses in the resion of papillae. Anuria & oliguria can lead to the acute renal failure, and especially prognosis and progress may be affect influenced by urinary infection. We report a case of renal papillary necrosis with ingestion of bear gallbladder. On pyelography, Persistent contrast is diagnostic clue of renal papillary necrosis. This case is not be related to urinary tract infection, but occurred acute renal failure. Expectant treatment was gone.
악성 점막하 종양과의 구별이 어려웠던 Gastritis Cystica Profunda 1예

Gastritis cystica profunda (GCP) is a rare disease characterized by gastric foveolae elongation along with hyperplasia and cystic dilatation of the gastric glands extending into the tissue beneath the submucosa. GCP mainly develops at the gastroenterostomy stoma but can arise in a stomach that has not undergone surgery. The proposed pathogenesis is related to chronic inflammation, ischemia and the presence of a foreign body. GCP may present as a submucosal tumor, Polyp or a giant gastric mucosal fold. Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is an effective diagnostic method for differentiating GCP from protruding and elevated gastric lesions. We report a case of GCP along with the endoscopic and EUS findings that were indistinguishable from a malignant submucosal tumor.
