        For hot operation of advanced spent fuel conditioning process(ACP), the analysis of radiation-resistant Requirements effect and the system design process are required to design equipment to operate to operate reliably in a gamma radiation environment such as hot cell. To analysis the effects of radiation for ACP, we used the SCALE codes which were certified by Nuclear Regulatory Commission(NRC). The source term was calculated which reflects the features of target nuclear fuels using ORIGEN-S, a module of the SCALE code, and the gamma dose rates were calculated by using the QADS modules, considering the geometry of process equipment respectively. the results are shows that the value was maximum 3.03 ㏉/h from the rod storage box in hot cell, maximum 0.6 ㏉/h from the metallizer, and maximum 72.0 ㏉/h from the vol-oxidizer. Considering those values, the design methods for shielding and repositioning the major equipments and components should be induced, and, the preventive maintenance for components before failure actually occurs should be minimized the effects of radiation.

        This study aims at corrosion phenomena of metallic assets in order to preserve the closest original shape by applying scientific treatment of delivered metallic assets from the bottom of the sea Steel assets seems to be in a complex corrosion environment by showing corrosion excretion of organic substances, such as shellfish, marine microorganims on the surface and corrosion from silt and galvanic cell by potential difference between heterogeneous metals. Silver assets seem to be affected by corrosion of organic corrosive substances, such as algae, excreta from shellfish and H_2S gas and such corrosion appears to be noticeable when such substance are placed in the silver container. Bronze assets tends to form progressive stains, copper chloride, generally called bronze ailment by reaction Cl^- ion the sea water.

        디지털미디어시대의 디자인 探究

        지구 생성(生成)이래 계속되어왔던 진화(進化)의 배경이 바뀌고 있다. 이제까지 인간을 비롯한 모든 동물은 눈(眼)에 보이는 것들과의 싸움해 승리한 자(者)는 살아남고, 실패된 자는 도태(淘汰)되는 적자생존(適者生存)을 거듭해 왔다. 그러나 21세기 진화는 달라졌다. 인류사의 3대혁명이라 일컫는 9000년 전 부터 시작한 농업혁명, 250년 전의 산업혁명, 그리고1990년대부터 일기 시작한 21세기 진화의 배경은 디지털1)혁명, 바로 그것이다. 이제 디지털은 세상 모든 것을 변화시키는 진화 초기의 요인이다. 본고(本稿) 「디지털미디어시대의 디자인 탐구(探究)」는 21세기를 눈앞에 두고 국가부도 위기라는 홍역을 치루었던 한국, 그것은 어쩌면 21세기를 제대로 준비하라는 경고였을지도 모른다. 지난 반세기 동안 일제식민지배(1910∼1945)와 한국전쟁(1950∼1953)으로 초토화(焦土化)한 이 땅에서 우리는 피와 땀을 흘려 세계가 부러워하는 한강의 기적을 일구어냈다. '잘살아 보세'라는 절제절명의 목적 하나로 척박한 땅에서 맨 손으로 이루어 낸 세계 10대 무역국이라는 공든 탑(塔)이 순식간에 무너진 이유는 무엇이었을까?의 의문점(疑問点) 해결을 디자인에서 찾아보자는 데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구 목적에 따라서 제시된 논고(論考)는 첫째, 디자인이란 그 시대를 비추는 거울이라는 점이다. 디자인은 문화요, 일상생활 그 자체인 것이다. 그래서 디자인이란 색다른 힘을 가진 참신한 생각으로 상품에 이름을 짓는 것이다. 둘째, 한국 디자인 경쟁력 낮은 이유는 무엇인가? 그리고 한국 디자인 무엇이 문제인가? 를 최근 발표한 정부(산업자원부)정책, 「디자인 산업의 비전과 발전전략」을 기본으로 하여 제시했으며, 셋째, 디지털미디어시대의 디자인의 방향과 디자인산업의 비전을 국내외 각종 미디어와 학계 학술자료를 토대로 하여 제시하였다. 넷째, 그 대안(對案)으로 디자이너가 벤처기업(Venture Corporate)이며, 금세기 지식경영(Knowledge Management)의 대가(大家) 피터 드래커 (Peter Dreker)의 "변화(變化)만이 불변(不變)한다."는 이론을 디자인에 접목시켰다. 디자인이란 고객과 미래를 위한 아이디어 산업이기때문이다. The background of evolution has been changed, whith was maintained after the time on the creation of the earth. Up to now, all of animals including human being have conformed to the survival of the fittest that only the winners can survive and the failures will die out by fighting with the visible foes. However the evolution has in the 21th century. There have been the three revolution in human history that are the Agricultural Revolution began 9000 years ago, the Industrial Revolution started 250 years ago. and the Digital1) Revolution broke out in 1990s. Now, the digital is the cause of the beginning evolution to make a change in everything. This book, 「The Design Research in the Digital Media Time」, refers to Korea which has suffered national dishonor emergency ahead of 21th century. It may be a warning to give notice that we should be prepare for the 21th. During last half a century, Korean diligence brought up 'the miracles on the Han River' envious of the world where burnt to the ground by the aggression of the Japanese Empire and the Korea War. Under the strained slogan of 'Live in Affluence' we a ccomplished remarkable economic development as the 10th trading country in the world's level with empty hands. Unfortunately, our remarkable work of years has been being spoiled. This research intends to fine the answer for what made the work of years spoiled. Refer to the following for the prosecutors closing argument on the purpose of this research. First of all, the Design is a mirror of the times. The Design is culture and daily life in itself. Therefore the Design names goods with smarts ideas which have different energy. Secondly, what is the reason that the Korean Design isn't competitive on the world market? Basically this book deals with 'Visions and Growth Strategies of Our Design Industry' and government policies about what the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy has recently reported what is the problem of the Korean Design? Thirdly, the direction of the Design and the vision of the Design industry in the digital media times are explained on the basis of the media data and research materials in domestic and foreign papers. Lastly, as a counterproposal to the design, the Designer is Venture Corporate. An acknowledged authority on the knowledge management, Perter Dreker's theory adds to the Design. Because the Design is an idea industry for customers and times to come.

        하악골 절제술후 재이식된 돌결자가골 재이식 : 치험 3례

        We described three cases of immediate reimplantation of a frozen-thawed autogenous mandible composed of a mixture of iliac bone, marrow, and particulate hydroxyapatite in tumors of the mandible. Acceptable outcomes were obtained in three patients who underwent immediate autogenous mandibular graft reconstruction. The conditions leading to successful outcome of the procedure are also discussed. Reimplantation of frozen autogenous lesioned mandible was performed in three patients with mandibular tumors. Two reimplanted grafts survived without complications following surgery. One case had postoperative infection that resolved with appropriate antibiotic treatment. There were no recurrences of the primary lesions. Satisfactory facial contour after surgery was achieved. These results are most promising, and we believe that, with further refinement, this technique will offer a new and acceptable modality for facial reconstruction in patients with cancer.

        강산 및 강알칼리 음독에서 냉각 용액을 사용한 희석 요법과 중화 요법의 가능성

        Background: There is no effective treatment modality for caustic agent ingestion. Dilution and neutralization are prohibited because of the risk of secondary thermal injury. This experiment is designed to evaluate the amount of dilution and neutralization heat and to gauge the applicability of dilution and neutralization therapy using cold solutions to suppress the peak temperature. Methods: This is an in-vitro chemical experiment. HCl, CH3COOH, NaOH, and NH4OH are selected as representatives of strong and weak acids and strong and weak alkali, respectively. 20℃, 11.6M, 5.8M, and 2.9M solutions of each acid and alkali are made and mixed using a magnetic stirrer at a room air temperature of 28℃. The peak temperature, the duration above 40℃, and the heat amount are measured or calculated. Results: When a 11.6M HCl or NaOH solution is diluted with same amount of water, 32 or 18cal. per mL of HCl or NaOH is produced, respectively. HCl produces a significant peak temperature, but NaOH does not. The lower the concentration, the lower the amount of heat production. 11.6M CH3COOH and NH4OH solutions don't produce dilution heat.11.6M and 5.8M solutions of all acids and alkali produce destructive neutralization heat. However, 2.9M solutions produce neutralization heat which might be controllable. When a 11.6M HCl or NaOH solution is neutralized with a -10℃ 2.9 M NaOH or HCl solution, respectively, the peak temperature produced is below 40℃ and seems to add little thermal damage to viable tissue. Conclusion: Dilution and neutralization with a cold solution in cases of strong acid or alkali ingestion is a promising method to avoid thermal injury.

      • Control Effects of an Antibiotic Produced by Streptomyces sp. B25 on Tobacco Mosaic Virus and Determination of Its Molecular Structure

        The culture filtrate of Streptomyces sp. B25, which was identified in this experiment, was tested for the control of tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) with the susceptible tobacco cultivar, NC 82, under the field conditions following the preliminary examination of its characters for TMV control. Control efficacy of the culture filtrate against TMV infection continued over 50% up to 6 days after treatment, and its systemic effect was about 30% of the direct effect. In field conditions control efficacy of the culture filtrate against TMV infection was 95.3 % at 2 weeks after TMV inoculation, and decreased to 58.3 % at 3 weeks after inoculation. Five fold-dilution of the culture filtrate showed about half of the control efficacy by the stock culture filtrate. Analysis of the antibiotic material responsible for the inhibition of TMV infection through nuclear magnetic resonance experiments revealed that the antibiotic is antimycin $A_1$, which is firstly reported as an anti-phytoviral antibiotic in this experiment.

      • Coexistence of 3G Repeaters with LTE Base Stations

        <P>Repeaters have been an attractive solution for mobile operators to upgrade their wireless networks at low cost and to extend network coverage effectively. Since the first LTE commercial deployment in 2009, many mobile operators have launched LTE networks by upgrading their 3G and legacy networks. Because all 3G frequency bands are shared with the frequency bands for LTE deployment and 3G mobile operators have an enormous number of repeaters, reusing 3G repeaters in LTE networks is definitely a practical and cost-efficient solution. However, 3G repeaters usually do not support spatial multiplexing with multiple antennas, and thus it is difficult to reuse them directly in LTE networks. In order to support spatial multiplexing of LTE, the role of 3G repeaters should be replaced with small LTE base stations or MIMO-capable repeaters. In this paper, a repeater network is proposed to reuse 3G repeaters in LTE deployment while still supporting multilayer transmission of LTE. Interestingly, the proposed network has a higher cluster throughput than an LTE network with MIMO-capable repeaters.</P>

      • Uplink Scheduling and Adjacent-Channel Coupling Loss Analysis for TD-LTE Deployment

        <P>TD-LTE, one of the two duplexing modes in LTE, operates in unpaired spectrum and has the advantages of TDD-based technologies. It is expected that TD-LTE will be more rapidly deployed in near future and most of WiMax operators will upgrade their networks to TD-LTE gradually. Before completely upgrading to TD-LTE, WiMax may coexist with TD-LTE in an adjacent frequency band. In addition, multiple TD-LTE operators may deploy their networks in adjacent bands. When more than one TDD network operates in adjacent frequency bands, severe interference may happen due to adjacent channel interference (ACI) and unsynchronized operations. In this paper, coexistence issues between TD-LTE and other systems are analyzed and coexistence requirements are provided. This paper has three research objectives. First, frame synchronization between TD-LTE and WiMax is discussed by investigating possible combinations of TD-LTE and WiMax configurations. Second, an uplink scheduling algorithm is proposed to utilize a leakage pattern of ACI in synchronized operations. Third, minimum requirements for coexistence in unsynchronized operations are analyzed by introducing a concept of adjacent-channel coupling loss. From the analysis and simulation results, we can see that coexistence of TD-LTE with other TDD systems is feasible if the two networks are synchronized. For the unsynchronized case, some special cell-site engineering techniques may be required to reduce the ACI.</P>

        Research Articles : Enzymatic Hydrolysate from Non-pretreated Biomass of Yellow Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) is an Alternative Resource for Bioethanol Production

        Enzymatic hydrolysate from non pre-treated biomass of yellow poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) was prepared and used as resource for bioethanol production. Fresh branch (1 year old) of yellow poplar biomass was found to be a good resource for achieving high saccharification yields and bioethanol production. Chemical composition of yellow poplar varied significantly depending upon age of tree. Cellulose content in fresh branch and log (12 years old) of yellow poplar was 44.7 and 46.7% respectively. Enzymatic hydrolysis of raw biomass was carried out with commercial enzymes. Fresh branch of yellow poplar hydrolyzed more easily than log of yellow poplar tree. After 72 h of enzyme treatment the glucose concentration from Fresh branch of yellow poplar was 1.46 g/L and for the same treatment period log of yellow poplar produced 1.23 g/L of glucose. Saccharomyces cerevisiae KCTC 7296 fermented the enzyme hydrolysate to ethanol, however ethanol production was similar (~1.4 g/L) from both fresh branch and log yellow poplar hydrolysates after 96 h.

        연구논문 추천시스템의 전자도서관 적용방안

        컴퓨터와 웹의 발달은 사람들이 이용할 수 있는 정보의 양을 급격히 늘렸으며, 이로 인해 추천시스템에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 전자도서관에서도 다른 분야와 마찬가지로 개인화 및 추천시스템에 대한 연구가 중요한데, 연구논문 추천시스템에 대한 연구는 극히 제한적으로 이뤄지고 있고, 국내에서는 거의 찾아보기 어려울 정도이다. 본 논문에서는 국내외에서 수행된 추천시스템에 대한 연구를 조사분석하고, 이를 토대로 전자도서관 연구논문 추천시스템 구축방안을 KISTI NDSL을 중심으로 제안한다. 현재 NDSL에서 제공하는 알리미서비스를 암묵적 방식으로 바꾸어서 이용자의 프로파일을 구축할 것과 이용자 및 메모리 기반의 협업 필터링을 병행하여 내용기반의 필터링이 가지는 연구논문 추천에서 신규성이 부족한 단점을 보완할 것을 제안한다. 또한 두 기법을 함께 사용하는 방식과 온톨로지와 분할방식에 의한 필터링을 이용하여 추천 만족도를 높이는 방식에 대해서도 제안한다. The progress of computers and Web has given rise to a rapid increase of the quantity of the useful information, which is making the demand of recommender systems widely expanding. Like in other domains, a recommender system in a digital library is important, but there are only a few studies about the recommender system of research papers, Moreover none is there in korea to our knowledge. In the paper, we seek for a way to develop the NDSL recommender system of research papers based on the survey of related studies. We conclude that NDSL needs to modify the way to collect user's interests from explicit to implicit method, and to use user-based and memory-based collaborative filtering mixed with contents-based filtering(CF). We also suggest the method to mix two filterings and the use of personal ontology to improve user satisfaction.
