        The aspects and satisfaction on university foodservice were investigated to provide basic information for better foodservice in university by questionnaires. The survey was conducted in Daejon, and data were analyzed by SAS. Although 87.3% of subjects were under foodservice, only 2.0% of them preferred the foods served in university. The most favorite reason for foodservice was indicated as no need on lunch bag(31.1%) and frendship of classmates(25.5%). The most unfavorite reason for foodservice was indicated as bad taste of foods(68.7%) or many dislike foods(13.2%), also dirty eating place(7.7%). The subject liked ssalbap, baechu kimchi, beef foods. The acceptance about kongbap, yulmu kirnchi, beef products was higher in men than women(p<0.05). The preference of mieokkuk was higher in women and that of beef soup was higher in men(p<0.05). The degree of satisfaction was lower in men than in women about the amount of foods(p<0.001). Also the degree of satisfaction was lower in women than in men about sanitary condition of eating place. 54.6% of them had taken the unwanted materials in foods and 3% of them experienced the deteriorated food. The results suggest that food preference of subjects should be considered in meal planning and various cooking method should be utilized to enhance taste of foods for better foodservice. Also, the importance of various foods intake must be periodically and continuously taught to them through nutrition education.

      • 청소년의 체형인식과 체중조절에 관한 실태 조사

        This purpose of this survey was to investigate status recognition and weight contrast of high school students and college in Taejon. These results were summarized as follows: In the heights and weights those of male 178.74±6.31cm and 65.49±9.44kg, those of female were 162.09±4.36cm and 51.95±5.95kg. By broca index, 53.7% of subjects were normal, 38.2% were lean, 5.3% were overweight and 2.8% were obese. 44.4% of male have recognized their body form as normal, 30.5% of female have recognized their body form as overweight, 47.8% of lean groups answered that they were normal. In normal groups, 46.2% answered normal and 28.9% answered some fatty. 46.8% of normal group in female misunderstood that they were some fatty. In spite of not to weight control, lean and normal group answered that they were weight control. Weight control methods were used diet therapy (66.2%). therapy+exercise(22.8%) and exercise(9.0%). Reason to select therapy of weight control were one's recommendation(45.8%) and by mass media(3.8%). Weight loss and period of weight control were 1.9days, 0.4kg in high school students, 7.3days, 0.7kg in college students, and 3.8days, 0.5kg in male, 5.7days, 0.6kg in female. The results of weight control, 65.0% were failed. The reason of failure in weight control, 42.4% answered because of hungry.

      • Prognostic Value of Serum AFP, AFP-L3, and GP73 in Monitoring Short-term Treatment Response and Recurrence of Hepatocellular Carcinoma after Radiofrequency Ablation

        Purpose: Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), Lens culinaris agglutinin-reactive fraction of AFP (AFP-L3), and Golgi protein 73 (GP73) levels have been widely used as tumor markers for the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The aim of this study was to investigate whether these tumor markers could be used to monitor short-term treatment response and recurrence of HCC in patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation (RFA). Methods: Between July 2012 and July 2013, 53 consecutive patients with newly diagnosed HCC were prospectively enrolled in this study. Among these, 32 patients underwent RFA, after which they were followed up prospectively at the First Hospital of Jilin University in China. Results: AFP, AFP-L3, and GP-73 values pre-RFA were not associated with tumor size, whereas AFP and GP-73 levels tended to be associated with tumor number, the presence of vascular invasion, deterioration of liver function, advanced-stage disease, and a poor performance status. GP-73 levels were dramatically elevated in the patients with hepatitis C-associated HCC. Neither pre-RFA nor 1-month post-RFA tumor marker values were associated with short-term outcome. The short-term recurrence rate of AFP-positive patients measured 1 month post-RFA was obviously higher than that of AFP-negative patients. Conclusions: AFP and GP-73 values were associated with clinical variables representing tumor growth and invasiveness, and the AFP value measured 1 month post-RFA was a strong predictor of short-term recurrence in patients with HCC.

        한국어와 중국어에서 공간관계의 부호화 대조분석

        This paper discussed the cognitive system of Korean speakers and Chinese speakers by investigating the expressions of spatial relations between Korean and Chinese. The results are as follows: First, we pointed out the definition and characteristics of spatial relations and established their semantic types. Second, we compared expressions of spatial relation between Korean and Chinese through three types of spatial relations, namely relative static spatial relations, absolute static spatial relations and directional spatial relations. Third, we explained the universality and variety of the methods of conceptualization in terms of ‘figure-ground relationship’, ‘iconicity’, ‘perspective’, ‘prominence’, etc.

        한중 자기반의어의 의미 양상과 해석

        This paper discusses semantic aspects of autoantonym and its interpretation in order to define semantic properties of autoantonym which exists between Korean and Chinese in the perspective of cognitive linguistics. The results are as follows: First, it pointed out the similarities and differences between autoantonym and antonym, and limit the scope of autoantonym. Second, the semantic aspects of autoantonym are largely divided into ‘directional opposition’, ‘scale opposition’, and ‘complementary opposition’. Through the contrast between Korean and Chinese, it showed that there are some autoantonyms which correspond to each other, whereas there are most autoantonyms which cannot correspond to each other. Third, the creation of autoantonym is supported by internal causes of language such as ‘contagion’, and external causes of language such as encyclopedic knowledge about reference, human’s cognitive tendencies, cultural background of research language, etc. Fourth, the study of autoantonym is meaningful for dictionary compilation, language education, and clarifying the way of human conceptualization.

        Simultaneous Release of Recombinant Cellulases Introduced by Coexpressing Colicin E7 lysis in Escherichia coli

        With the increasingly serious global environment problem caused by slather use of fossil fuels, numerous efforts have been made in developing renewable alternatives. Converting lignocellulose to bioenergy has accomplished by cellulases but the production is limited, therefore the recombinant expression platforms in E. coli have been established. Since E. coli is partly restricted by its inability to secrete enzymes to extracellular membrane, we constructed a synthetic circuit to coexpress cellulases and colicin E7 lysis to solve this problem. The pBAD-RBS-lysis-TT (BBa_K117010) sequence from iGEM was added to form a chimeric plasmid based on pET system, which harboring cellulases from Bacillus subtilis or Thermobifida fusca. The presence of arabinose for the promoter pBAD, leading to induce lysis and further breakdown of the host membrane to release cellulase to extracellular membrane. The extracellular activities increase to 48.1 and 55.5% under lysis gene functioned on Cel5 and CD1, respectively. This is the first attempt to show that cellulases have successfully expressed and released to extracellular membrane without cumbersome steps. Finally, this synthetic circuit simplifies and achieves the simultaneous release and heterologous expression of the cellulases as well as obtain a long-term stable enzyme in E. coli system.

        Dynamic electromagnetic force variation mechanism and energy loss of a non-contact loading device for a water-lubricated bearing

        The current predominant contact loading device has several defects (such as friction, wear, vibration, and noise) which seriously affect the accuracy of test results of waterlubricated bearings. In this study, a non-contact electromagnetic loading device was designed, and the dynamic electromagnetic force variation mechanism and energy loss were examined. First, the structures of the test-rig of a water-lubricated bearing and electromagnetic loading device were described, and mathematical models of the dynamic electromagnetic force, reluctance torque, and energy loss were constructed. Then, finite element analysis was conducted, and the variation rules of magnetic induction intensity, reluctance torque, gap flux density, and energy loss were analyzed. Finally, the test results of numerical calculation and simulation were compared. The dynamic electromagnetic force is revealed to be closely related to the speed and eccentricity of the shaft and the coil current of the electromagnet. Increasing the coil current and shaft speed nonlinearly increases the energy loss of the electromagnetic loading device.

        Order–disorder structural tailoring and its effects on the chemical stability of (Gd, Nd)2(Zr, Ce)2O7 pyrochlore ceramic for nuclear waste forms

        Series of unequal quantity Nd/Ce co-doped ceramic nuclear waste forms, (Gd, Nd)2(Zr, Ce)2O7, were prepared to tailor its ordered pyrochlore or disordered fluorite structure. The phase transition, microtopography, and elemental composition of the ceramic samples were systematically investigated, especially the effect of order-disorder structure on the chemical stability. It was confirmed that unequal quantity of Nd/Ce could synchronously replace the Gd/Zr-sites of Gd2Zr2O7. And the phase transition of order-disorder structure could be successfully tailored by regulating the average cationic radius ratio of (Gd, Nd)2(Zr, Ce)2O7 series. The elements of Gd, Nd, Zr, and Ce are uniformly distributed in the ordered or disordered structures. The MCC-1 leaching results showed that (Gd, Nd)2(Zr, Ce)2O7 pyrochlore ceramic nuclear waste forms had excellent chemical stability, whose elements' normalized leaching rates were as low as 104 -107 g‧m2 ‧d1 after 7 days. In particular, the chemical stability of disordered structure was superior to that of ordered structure. It was proposed that the force constant and the closest packing were changed with the structure transformation resulting the chemical stability difference

        Gene Mapping and Expression Analysis of a Novel Mutant reproduce organs absent (roa) in Rice

        Mutant plays an important role in function analysis in plant. A rice flower mutant reproduce organs absent (roa), showing a stable inheritance during several years of study, was identified in rice (Oryza sativa L. ssp. Indica) cultivar Jinhui10 treated with EMS and used in this study. This mutant showed following: elongated palea and pedicle; absence of inner three whorls of floral organs; multi-whorls glume like organs inside the lemma/palea; spikelet meristem like organ upon the pedicle. These phenotypes suggested that ROA is a key gene in rice spikelet development. Genetic analysis confirmed that the mutant traits were controlled by a single recessive nuclear gene. By gene mapping, ROA was restricted between two SSR markers RM221 and RM1342 on the chromosome 2. It concluded that ROA was a novel gene involving in flower development in rice. Besides, the mutation of ROA influenced the transcription level of floral homeotic genes; the expression of floral homeotic genes decreased in roa panicle compared with wild-type, and it suggested that ROA affected flower development by influencing the expression of floral homeotic genes.

        Structural Improvement of Vehicle Component Based on the Load Path and Load Distribution Analysis

        Load path as a new analysis tool has been widely used in structural design and assessment of load-bearing performance, but it still lacks effective guidance for structural improvement. In this paper, a new structural improvement method of vehicle component based on the load path and load distribution analysis is proposed. Firstly, according to the structural function and design requirements, the potential regions and parameters need to be optimized are identified based on the load path and load distribution analysis using Ustar and U*sum indexes. Secondly, taking the smoother Ustar on the load path and more effective use of the materials as the design criteria, the optimization suggestions are given. Then, as a case study, a safety hook on an automobile is redesigned and the new structure is compared with the original design. The results show that the Ustar becomes smoother and U*sum becomes more uniform. In addition, the stiffness and strength of the safety hook are improved by 25.29 % and 23.44 %, respectively. Finally, the failure tests show that the ultimate load of the safety hook is enhanced by 13.72 %. The method provides clear and effective guidance for structural improvement from the perspective of load path and load distribution.
