9.1 dBm IIP3 36 dB gain controllable LNA for WCDMA in 0.13-μm CMOS
Phan, Tuan Anh,Farrell, Ronan,Lee, Sang-Gug Wiley Subscription Services, Inc., A Wiley Company 2009 MICROWAVE AND OPTICAL TECHNOLOGY LETTERS Vol.51 No.5
<P>This article presents a low-power, high-linearity cascode-type low noise amplifier (LNA) with 36 dB of variable gain for the WIDE Code Division Multiple Access systems. By enhancing the substrate resistance of a common gate transistor along with adopting multiple-gate technique, the linearity is significantly improved. Shunt-current steering is adopted for smooth gain control. Step gain mode is used to further increase the gain control range. The main common source transistor is disabled in attenuation mode, saving unwanted power consumption. Measurements show maximum gain of 12.3 dB with S11 of −19.5 dB, and S22 of −14 dB. The total gain control range is 36 dB. NF is measured as 2 dB and two-tone test shows 9.1 dBm of IIP3. Implemented in 0.13-μm CMOS technology, the LNA consumes only 1.6 mA at maximum gain mode and only 0.2 mA in attenuation mode from 1.2 V supply. Its die size is 0.3 mm2. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 51: 1385–1388, 2009; Published online in Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com). A 18-pJ/Pulse OOK CMOS Transmitter for Multiband UWB Impulse Radio
Tuan-Anh Phan,Jeongseon Lee,Krizhanovskii, V.,Seok-Kyun Han,Sang-Gug Lee THE INSTITUTE OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS 2007 Vol. No.
<P>This letter presents a new transmitter for multiband impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) systems. The ultra low-power, low-complexity UWB transmitter operates over three 528-MHz subbands in 3-5 GHz band. It consists of an on-off keying (OOK) modulator and a pulse generator which is based on the ON/OFF switching operation of an LC oscillator. Measurements show a pulse duration of 3.5 ns and a spectrum that fully complies with the FCC spectral mask with more than 20 dB of sidelobe rejection. Implemented in 0.18-mum CMOS technology, the transmitter operates in burst mode and dissipates only 18 pJ of energy consumption per pulse. The transmitter is best suited for energy detection receivers.</P>

Using a ceramic target ZnO:In with In doping concentration of 2%, hetero-junctions of n-ZnO:In/p-Si and p-ZnO:(In, N)/n-Si were fabricated by depositing Indium doped n - type ZnO (ZnO:In or IZO) and Indium-nitrogen co-doped p - type ZnO (ZnO:(In, N)) films on wafers of p-Si (100) and n-Si (100) by DC magnetron sputtering, respectively. These films with the best electrical and optical properties were then obtained. The micro-structural, optical and electrical properties of the n-type and p-type semiconductor thinfilms were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), RBS, UV-vis; four-point probe resistance and room-temperature Hall effect measurements, respectively. Typical rectifying behaviors of p-n junction were observed by the current-voltage (I-V) measurement. It shows fairly good rectifying behavior with the fact that the ideality factor and the saturation current of diode are n=11.5, Is=1.5108.10-7 (A) for n-ZnO:In/p-Si hetero-jucntion; n=10.14, Is=3.2689.10-5 (A) for p-ZnO:(In, N)/n-Si, respectively. These results demonstrated the formation of a diode between n-type thin film and p-Si, as well as between p-type thin film and n-Si..
Mental Health Among Healthcare Workers During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Vietnam
Nhan Phuc Thanh Nguyen,Ha Phan Ai Nguyen,Cao Khoa Dang,Minh Tri Phan,Huynh Ho Ngoc Quynh,Van Tuan Le,Chinh Van Dang,Tinh Huu Ho,Van Trong Phan,Van Trong Phan,Thang Phan,Dang Thi Anh Thu 대한예방의학회 2024 예방의학회지 Vol.57 No.1
Objectives: The objective of this study was to characterize mental health issues among Vietnamese healthcare workers (HCWs) and to identify related factors. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 990 HCWs in 2021. Their mental health status was measured using the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale. Results: In total, 49.9%, 52.3%, and 29.8% of respondents were found to have depression, anxiety, and stress, respectively. The multivariable linear regression model revealed that factors associated with increased anxiety scores included depression scores (β, 0.45; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.39 to 0.51) and stress scores (β, 0.46; 95% CI, 0.41 to 0.52). Factors associated with increased depression scores included being frontline HCWs (β, 0.57; 95% CI, 0.10 to 1.10), stress scores (β, 0.50; 95% CI, 0.45 to 0.56), and anxiety scores (β, 0.41; 95% CI, 0.36 to 0.47), while working experience was associated with reduced depression scores (β, -0.08; 95% CI, -0.16 to -0.01). Factors associated with increased stress scores included working experience (β, 0.08; 95% CI, 0.00 to 0.16), personal protective equipment interference with daily activities (β, 0.55; 95% CI, 0.07 to 1.00), depression scores (β, 0.54; 95% CI, 0.48 to 0.59), and anxiety scores (β, 0.45; 95% CI, 0.39 to 0.50), while age was associated with reduced stress scores (β, -0.12; 95% CI, -0.20 to -0.05).Conclusions: Specific interventions are necessary to enhance and promote the mental health of HCWs so they can successfully cope with the circumstances of the pandemic.
