The cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) are an important component in host defense mechanism against viral infection. They can recongnize virus-derived peptides presented by the Class I MHC molecule at the cell surface of the infected cells. On searching for effective CTL epitopes of hepatitis B virus(HBV), we synthesized a distinct set of 9-10 mer peptide containing amino acid sequence of hepatitis B virus surface protein that are selected on the basis of a computer modeling and the previously described HLA-A2 specific motifs.Binding assay of the synthetic peptides to HLA-A2 molecules using human antigen processing defectant T2 cells showed that 3 out of 4 synthetic peptides enhanced the expression of HLA-A2 molecule on T2 cell surface.Two anchor positions, namely P2 and P9(or P10) appeared to play a decisive role for binding.Structural. characteristics of the peptides addressed by molecular dynamics simulation was analysed and compared.These peptides also partially triggered CTL isolated from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells of HBV positive patients, and the response was peptide-spcific.These results showed that negatively-charged amino acid residue at P2 hampered binding affinity of the peptides to HLA-A2 molecules, and that binding affinity of the peptides are not always reflected by their immunogenicity among natural T cell repertoire.

In the 18th century, the heavy formality of the classic Baroque style of Louis xv was swept away by the light, casual, delicate artificiality of the Rococo. Rococo art was denouement, or dying fall of the aristocratic way of life and during the 18th century the nobility accepted more middle-class patterns of thought, although clothing them in the trapping of aristocracy. In this period, the womens costume in france was greatly influenced by the decorative Rococo style and assumed the delicate form of clothes. The character of costume in france was to establish the ideal feminity and especially there were corsets and skirts for short waist line, panniers to spread the with of skirts and robes for gowns. In the early 18th century the mode was sumptous but gradually become more simple by functionalism. The court fashion dominated the womens dress fashion in france up to the Revolution. Marie Antoinette, the queen of Louis xvi, was one of the most influential fashion leaders in the 18th century. Marie Antoinette mode and her artical taste that influenced on the costume style can be summarized as follows. Marie Antoinette had a sense of appreciation and a individual taste for art. She had a distaste for a regular or voluminous style and prefered a decorative style to get rid of the monotomy. The artical taste of her was reflected in Marie Antoinette mode. The costume style of Marie Antoinette was decorative style with ribbons, bows, and laces-robe a la francaise and robe a la polonaise. However under the influence of the philosophy of enlightment, her early style was changed into the simple style-caraco and chemise a la reine. Since Marie Antoinette mode was very decorative but exquisite, it was elegant. As she considered the harmony of clothes and interior decorations, the costume and surroundings were harmonized and turn out to be a picture.
아파트단지의 가로망체계 및 교통시설물 설치기준에 관한 연구

The aim of this paper is to establish several meaningful criteria for the design of road and traffic facilities in high-rises apartment complex. After examine the present conditions of the case study areas in Seoul situation problems were identified regarding to vehicle and pedestrian circulation facilities. The problems were wrong location of main entrence, alignment, road width and vehicle/pedestrian separation. The possible solutions were suggested to ease the situation, namely correct location of main entrance, proper alignment and establishing the pedestrian only road. The results of this research can be utilized to enhance the quality of living environment, especially the high-rises apartments which is becoming the major form of habitation.
합성 펩티드를 이용한 Interleukin-2수용체 β-Chain에 대한 단일클론항체의 제작

Hybridoma producing monoclonal antibodies reactive with the ß-chain of interleukin-2 receptor (IL-2R) were generated from mice immunized with a synthetic pepride of 19 amino acids. The synthetic peptide constitutes strongly hydrophilic region of extracellular domain of the IL-2R molecules(residues 32-50) as revealed by hydrophathy plot analysis. Hybridomas were screened by ELISA using Hut102 cells and the synthetic peptide as antigenic moiety, and by measuring the binding activity of antibodies to the Hut102 cell surface that was monitored by a flow cytometer. The antibodies were further screened by their inhibitory effect against the interaction between IL-2R and interleukin-2(IL-2). Antibodies were further characterized by immunoprecipitation followed by autoradiography to reveal that the antibodies recongnize the 75 KD protein molecules expressed on the Hut 102 cell surface and human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) which confirms the antigenic moiety to be ß-chain of IL-2 recepter molecules.
