This study is intended to verify an appropriateness of a test tool for elementary school students, which was made by Oh Suk-Yeong(1966) and modified by Jang Jeong-Ae (1998), in order to examine the test tool of the emotional intelligence for elementary school students, as a part of providing the basic data for a development of a new test tool. The survey was conducted for 250 students in the fifth grade and 150 students in the sixth grade, except dishonestly-responded 12 students among total 412 students of 'P' and 'S' Elementary School located in Dalseo-gu, Daegu. The following is the result of looking into a reliance of the Emotional Intelligence test through statistics of the emotional intelligence test. Firstly, the overall average answer rates were similar. However, there was a high variation of a minimum value and maximum value. Secondly, students in the fifth grade had higher score of the emotional intelligence than students in the sixth grade for all areas except the emotional control, as the result of examining the difference o the emotional intelligence score by grades. In terms of the difference of the emotional intelligence score by gender, female students had higher average score than male students for all areas except a repletion. Thirdly, there was the different reliance on the test tool of the emotional intelligence between male and female students. However, the overall reliance by grade was similar. Next, the survey indicated that there was a low relation in terms of a relationship between the whole and items. However, the appropriateness of individual item was low. Finally, there was the relatively low relation between sub-areas, as the result of looking into the appropriateness of the emotional intelligence test. However, it showed the relatively high relation between sub-area and the whole.
Noisy Speech Recognition Based on Spectral Mapping Techniques

본 논문에서는 화자적응방법에서의 스펙트럼사상기법을 기초로한 잡음인식방법을 제시하였다. 제시한 방법에서는 스펙트럼사상에 의하여 잡음음성의 스펙트럼왜곡을 감소시키며, 스펙트럼을 더욱 정확히 사상하기 위하여 정합창의 기울기로 하여금 여러 단어의 길이에 적응하도록 하였다. 인식실험의 결과, 잡음처리를 하지 않는 VQ와 DTW를 이용한 기존의 방법보다 놓은 인식율을 얻었으며, 0 dB 의 SNR 레벨에서도 기존방법의 인식율을 10배 이상으로 향상시키므로써 스펙트럼사상을 이용한 화자적응기법이 잡음음성의 인식성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. This paper presents noisy speech recognition method based on spectral mapping techniques of speaker adaptation method. In the presented method, the spectral mapping training makes the spectral distortion of noisy speech reduced, and for the more correctively spectral mapping, let the adjustment window;s slope be adaptive to several word lengths. As a result of recognition experiment, the recognition rate is higher than that of the conventional method using VQ and DTW without noise processing. Even when SNR level is 0 dB, the recognition rate is 10 times more than that using the conventional method. It is confirmed that the speacker adaptation technique using the spectral mapping training has an ability to improve the recognition performance for noisy speech.
