        Selection of DNA Aptamers Against Botulinum Neurotoxin E for Development of Fluorescent Aptasensor

        Botulinum neurotoxins (BoNTs) produced by Clostridium botulinum are the deadliest toxins known to mankind with a potential of possible bioterrorism agents. Due to the high-potential harm of these toxins, a sensitive and real-time monitoring capable detection systems are required for the early stage detection. In this study, a novel sol–gel-based SELEX was used to isolate single-stranded nucleic acids (ssDNA) aptamers against purified BoNT type E toxoid (BoNTE) using a chemically synthesized random N40 ssDNA library. The bound aptamer sequences after five rounds were analyzed using next-generation sequencing and the resulted high-frequency aptamers were characterized using biolayer interferometry. Among the tested, aptamer BT5.6 showed low nanomolar binding affinity (KD, 53.3 nM) toward BoNTE. As a proof of concept, the aptamer was utilized in a graphene oxide-based detection platform. In summary, we screened and identified a ssDNA aptamer with high affinity toward BoNTE, which, we believe can be used for development of sensitive detection systems.

      • Classification of Metro Station Areas Using Multi-Source Big Data: Case Studies in Beijing

        Large-capacity public transportation systems, represented by urban metro lines, are the key to alleviating the significant increase in urbanization and motorization in China. But to improve the agglomeration effect of metro stations in a more accurate and targeted way requires scientific evaluation and classification of the surrounding areas of metro stations. As spatial and functional design are the core factors for urban renewal design, this study took Beijing as an example, using multi-source data to evaluate the morphology and functional composition surrounding areas of metro stations, and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) matrix was used to classify and characterize each type of surrounding areas from morphological-functional dimensions. It shows a negative correlation of the mix-use index with the floor area ratio, and only about 20% of the areas achieve the ideal situation of high construction intensity with high mix-use diversity. Hoping to provide a reference for city managers and designers in dealing with the surrounding metro stations with different construction intensities in a more precise way.

      • Evaluation of combat calorie consumption based on GoBe2 nanosensor

        Measuring energy burn during intensive combat sport has been a challenging concerns for a long time. In the present article, the energy consumption during combat sports is measured by use of wearable GoBe2 equipped with nanotechnology measuring devices. In this regard, 12 professional combat athletes were asked to wear GoBe2 devices during different sessions of intensive combat exercises. The curves provided by GoBe2 nano-sensor devices are further collected and analyzed for different combat durations. On the other hand, energy consumption in these athlete is calculated using other validated methods to evaluate reliability of GoBe2 wearable devices. Based on the results obtained from these experiments a multi-parameter mathematical model is presented for estimation of combat calorie consumptions. The results show that nanotechnology in these type of sensors could help in estimation of calorie consumption during combat. Moreover, the reliability of using wearable GoBe2 sensors are satisfactory except for some specific conditions. The mathematical model provides a satisfactory results based on athlete physical condition and also duration of the combat with about 8% error margin in the results.

        Identification and Detection of Surface Defects of Outer Package Printed Matter Based on Machine Vision

        In the printing process, the surface of the outer package printed matter is prone to defects such as chromatic aberration and misting, leading to a defective product. It is necessary to take an effective method to identify and detect surface defects in printed matter. In this paper, the application of machine vision technology in the detection of defects in outer package was studied. Firstly, a machine vision image acquisition device based on charge coupled device (CCD) camera was designed; secondly, the obtained image was processed by graying the average method, then OTSU binarization was performed after denoising by median filtering, and finally an improved differential matching method was designed for defect detection. The example analysis showed that the clear defect image of the outer package could be obtained by using the method proposed in this paper. The detection rate of the method in detecting 2,000 images reached 99.4%, and the average detection time was 103 ms. In the detection of 5,000 images, the detection rate of the manual detection method was 81%, but the detection rate of the method proposed in this paper was 99.1%. The experimental results proved the reliability of the method and provided some theoretical basis for the further application of defect detection technology based on machine vision in the print industry, which was conducive to the good development of the print industry.

        Fabrication of Protective Textile with N-doped TiO2 Embedded Citral Microcapsule Coating and Its Air Purification Properties

        The protective textile was successfully prepared using N-doped TiO2 (N-TiO2) embedded citral microcapsule coating. N-TiO2 loaded citral microcapsules were synthesized through interfacial polymerization. Results showed the average diameter of N-TiO2 loaded citral microcapsule with core/shell (Mcitral : MHDI) 2:1 was 1.069 μm. Its encapsulation efficiency was 75.63 %. The citral content from finished cotton fabric measured by gas chromatography was up to 2.90 mg/g (weight of essence: weight of fabric). The essence release content of citral was nearly 50 % of their aroma after 12 weeks, exhibiting good physical function for air purification. Additionally, aromatic textile coated with N-TiO2 embedded citral microcapsules also exhibited photocatalytic activity for the degradation of formaldehyde under visible light irradiation. This functionalfabric would have potential applications in the air purification filed due to the chemical and physical dual effect.

        This paper is to give a summary about the protection of data privacy in our social network currently. To start with, we mostly give an outline of the research background and the study of social network privacy protection status at home and abroad , in the same time, to explain in detail about few of the social network privacy protection methods, and by the comparative analysis of the different privacy protection methods, we can get the ultimate impact on the release of the data. Secondly, by means of the relating Questionnaire survey to understand real needs of social network users’ privacy protection, with the aim of not only explore the perspectives that can satisfy the privacy protection, but also realize the utility of data policy protection. Finally, we provide a future direction of our deeper research.

        Crowd funding has aroused widespread concern in the community since its birth. Now it is setting off a huge wave of Internet Finance. As a new financing mode, on one hand, crowd funding gives financing opportunities to innovative projects so as to propel the development of start-ups and micro-enterprises, while driving innovation and entrepreneurship to provide employment opportunities for the Socialist Market Economy. On the other hand, crowd funding provides a platform for private capital and a direct financial market participation channels for ordinary people what makes ordinary people to be angel investors. This is conducive to the realization of efficient docking of private capital and micro-enterprises and eases the shortage of funds. In this paper, crowd funding in the domestic development is introduced systematically according to its development in different periods in recent years. The development of crowd funding is divided into four stages: The stage of start, the stage of grow up, the stage of breakthrough, the stage of the burst. Through the analysis on the characteristics of different stages of crowd funding, find out the obstacles and problems raised in the process of development. At last, all things considered, Summarize and forecast the development of crowd funding in Chinese, analyze the feasibility of the model in Chinese development, points out its development direction in China.

        Novel YBO3 phosphors doped with Ln3+ (Ce3+, Tb3+, Eu3+) ions with tunable color for WLED applications

        In this work, YBO3phosphors doped with Ln3+(Ce3+, Tb3+,Eu3+)ions were synthesized by a facile hydrothermal methodusing high temperature and high pressure environment. Structural property characterizations show all the samples have asimilar spherical morphology and a hexagonal crystal structure with good crystallinity. PL spectra and CIE calculation showthat the color of phosphors can be easily controlled by the species and atomic content of Ln3+ions. White color is achievedas the atomic contents of Ln3+ions are: 1% Ce3+,3% Tb3+,and 0.5% Eu3+,respectively. Furthermore, LED devices basedon ultraviolet chip were fabricated and characterized, and the results clearly demonstrated the tunable color of as-preparedphosphors. At the same time, co-doping Ce3+,Tb3+,and Eu3+ions can well adjust the fluorescence lifetime of the threerare earth ions through energy transfer. These results show that the phosphor has broad application prospects in the field ofdisplay lighting such as LED.
