Reverse transcription (RT)-PCR and nested PCR methods (2-step PCR) were tested for their ability to detect marine birnavirus (MBV) in cultured rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli. One set of primers for RT-PCR was designed, based on a gene of infectious pancreatic necrosis virus (IPNV), and another set of primers for nested PCR was designed based on the VP2/NS junction region of MBV. This 2-step PCR method was specific for MBV and sensitivity was heightened when nested PCR was combined to RT-PCR. This 2-step PCR method was useful for detecting MBV not only in diseased fish, but also in asymptomatic fish. These results indicate that this 2-step PCR method is useful for detecting MBV in rockfish.

The cDNA of VP2/NS junction region on segment A of the marine birnavirus (MBV) isolated from flounder (DS strain) was amplified using the reverse transcription (RT)-polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Its cDNA nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences were analyzed, and compared with the reference strains of MBV and infectious pancreatic necrosis virus (IPNV). Analyses of the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences revealed that the DS strain is very similar to the reference strains of MBV, distant from the IPNV.

Changes in soil physicochemical properties around the fairy rings of Tricholoma matsutake were monitored to figure out whether the mycorrhizal fungus induced significant changes in soil ecosystem or not. This study was conducted to investigate the impact of formations of Tricholoma matsutake fairy ring on the dynamics of soil physicochemical properties by dividing the surveyed area into 4 zones such as `zone of decayed mycorrhizae`, `zone of mycorrhizae for fruiting`, `zone of physiologically active mycorrhizae` and `zone of roots free from mycorrhizal infection` and by dividing the surveyed seasons which were March, June, August and October. The gaseous phase indicated that T. matsutake was aerobic fungus. The liquid phase and the moisture content showed the smallest in the soils with physiologically active mycelial cluster of T. mutsutake. which manifested that the fungus has hydrophobic mycelia. We noticed that the expansion of hyphae in the fairy ring resulted in the changes of sand and silt from the view point of particle size distribution. The content of sand was the highest in front of fairy ring (82.73%) followed by that at the zone of physiologically active mycelial cluster (81.12%), while the content was the lowest in late October (74.83%) among the assaying times. The content of silt was the highest in the zone of mycorrhizae for fruiting (12.50%) around the region of fairy rings, and in late October (14.68%) among the assaying times. That is, the expansion of mycorrhizal hyphae was supposed to induce a weathering of sand particles. Soil pH was the lowest at the zone of physiologically active mycelial cluster (4.69) while the pH was the highest at the zone of decayed mycorrhizae (5.04). This phenomenon indicated that T.matsutake is an acidophil fungus and may produce some special chemicals to reduce the soil pH temporarily. Available phosphate (P²O5) content was the highest at the zone of physiologically active mycelial cluster, which allow us to suppose that the solubility of phosphorus was accelerated by T . mutsutake. Potassium content was the highest at zone of physiologically active mycorrhizae while the lowest at zone of roots free from mycorrhizal infection, which indicated that the exchangeable cations were accumulated in the zone of fairy ring. Carbon, total nitrogen contents, and C/N ratio were also the highest at the zone of physiologically active mycorrhizae. In seasonal changes, carbon and total nitrogen contents were the lowest in the initiation stage of fruiting (August), and C/N ratio reached maximum from the mycorrhizae developing season (June) to the initiation season of fruiting (August). The results indicated that the mycorrhizal fungus induced significant changes in soil ecosystem since the zone of physiologically active mycorrhizae showed significant differences comparing with other zones.
Genogroup position of aquabirnavirus GC-1 isolated from rockfish Sebastes schiegeli in Korea

The cDNA of the aquabirnavirus, GC-1 isolated from rockfish Sebastes schlegeli in Korea, was synthesized using the reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. The nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences were determined from cDNA of the VP2-NS-VP3 coding region of genome segment A. The nucleotide sequences of the segment A were 3,086 base pairs (bp) in length and contained large open reading frame (ORF) and terminal sequences. The large ORF was comprised of 2,916 bp nucleotides and composed of 972 deduced amino acid sequences. Pairwise comparisons were made with other aquabirnavirus sequences published previously. The study of genetic relationships between GC-1 and aquabirnaviruses in the large ORF and VP2 coding regions demonstrated that the GC-1 has the nearest genetic relationship with the marine birnaviruses (MABV strains), and the GC-1 and MABV strains can be clustered as the same genogroup. GC-1 can be included in MABV, which is the 7th genogroup of family Aquabirnaviridae.
모바일 패션 애플리케이션의 탐색동기와 콘텐츠 이용도가 구매의도에 미치는 영향

This study was to identify underlying dimensions of search motives for mobile fashion apps, and examine effect of search motives and usage of fashion app contents on purchase intentions. A self-administered questionnaire included search motives, usage of contents, and purchase intentions on each channel(e.g., mobile app, mobile website, internet and offline store). A total 149 usable responses were obtained from university students who have experienced with mobile fashion apps. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis via SPSS statistic 21.0. Consumers' search motives for fashion apps consisted of four factors, such as leisure/hedonic, economic, fashion information, and social motives. Fashion apps' contents included four elements: price information, promotional program, product image, and special products. With respect to usage of contents, price information and product image contents were significantly affected by leisure/hedonic, economic, and fashion information motives; promotional program content was affected by only economic motive; and special product information was affected by economic and fashion information motives. In addition, using fashion app content was significantly related to purchase intentions. Specifically, contents of price information and special products increased purchase intention on the mobile apps, whereas product image contents increased purchase intention in the mobile website, online shopping sites, and offline stores. This study discussed a managerial implication to design mobile app contents and effective multichannel strategy for fashion retailing on mobile commerce.
Melamine과 cyanuric acid의 혼합투여가 붕어(Carassius carassius)의 신장에 미치는 조직병리학적 영향

Melamine is an organic base and a trimer of cyanamide which contains 66% nitrogen by mass, but it was sometimes illegally added to food products in order to enhance the apparent protein content for the bigger profit. Many Chinese infants and pet animals fed melamine-containing formulas suffered acute kidney failure with renal crystal formation. Fish feeds were also recently found to be contaminated with melamine. This experiment has been designed to determine whether renal crystals can be experimentally induced in crucian carp (Carassius carassius) fed melamine and cyanuric acid (each at 400 mg/kg/day for 3 days) in combination, and to compare experimentally induced crystals with those from pet animals with triazine related renal failure. The results showed that all fish developed gold brown renal crystals arranged in radial spherulites in the renal tubules, similar to those detected in the pet animals.
Proposal of Applying the Exercise Program for the Prevention of Work-related Chronic Low Back Pain

Objective: The purpose of this research is to provide exercise programs for the prevention of work related chronic back pain. Background: In order to prevent musculoskeletal disease, including proper medical care health promotion programs are needed. Method: This is a research of musculoskeletal disease looking at 618 workers working at a car engine manufacturing factory from April to July of 2008. Through questionnaire specific areas of musculoskeletal diseases experienced by the workers were identified and preventative exercise program for chronic low back pain was recommended. Result: Research showed that of the musculoskeletal disease experienced by the workers, 197 presented with low back pain, 171 presented with shoulder pain, 64 presented with neck pain and 44 presented with knee pain. The symptoms of low back pain included stiffness(143), twinge and burning sensation(24) and absence of sensation(19). Using this result 4 types of exercise programs were recommended for prevention of chronic low back pain. Conclusion: Preventative exercise programs recommended for the workers in this research is easily accessible for the workers. Use of the suggested exercise programs will inevitably decrease work related low back pain. Also 2 other recommendations were made: 1) Internal structural change may be necessary using ergonomics. 2) More exercise programs to be used to increase adaptation and tolerance of joints and muscles that are constantly used for repetitive work. Application: This study can be used to provide for the prevention of work-related Chronic Low Back pain.
