Experimental Study of Two-step Phase-shifting Digital Holography based on the Calculated Intensity of a Reference Wave

        Jun Li,Yang yang Pan,Jiaosheng Li,Rong Li,Tao Zheng 한국광학회 2014 Current Optics and Photonics Vol.18 No.3

Two-step quadrature phase-shifting digital holography based on the calculated intensity of a reference wave is proposed. In the Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) architecture, the method only records two quadrature-phase holograms, without reference-wave intensity or object-wave intensity measurement, to perform object recoding and reconstruction. When the reference-wave intensity is calculated from the 2D correlation coefficient (CC) method that we presented, the clear reconstruction image can be obtained by some specific algorithm. Its feasibility and validity were verified by a series of experiments with 2D objects and 3D objects. The presented method will be widely used in real-time or dynamic digital holography applications.

Quality improvement effects of electrolyzed water on rice noodles prepared with semidry-milled rice flours

        Rui Liu,Zhang-Long Yu,Yuan-Lin Sun,Li-Tao Tong,Li-Ya Liu,Li-Li Wang,Xian-Rong Zhou,Su-Mei Zhou 한국식품과학회 2021 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.30 No.6

To investigate the effects of electrolyzed watertreatment on the qualities of rice noodles prepared withsemidry- milled rice flour, pasting properties and thermalproperties of rice flour, and the cooking and texturalproperties of rice noodles were determined. Higher peakviscosity and lower melting enthalpy were observed inelectrolyzed water (EW) treated rice flour. The hardness, gumminess and chewiness of rice noodle in slightly acidicelectrolyzed water treated rice noodles with availablechlorine concentration (ACC) 20.32 mg/L were increasedsignificantly (p\0.05). The cooking loss decreased significantlyin strong acidic electrolyzed water treated noodleswith ACC 10.09 mg/L treatment (p\0.05). Theresults indicated that EW could promote the gelatinizationof rice flour, and improve the textural qualities of ricenoodles. Therefore EW was appropriate to be used in ricenoodle production.

Effect of the reaction temperature on nanocrystallites MgAl2O4 spinel ceramic precursor

        Rong-tao Wang,Ying Peng,Xiao-wei Fan,Jian-xin Li,Xiao-ping Liang 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2009 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.10 No.6

Mg-Al hydrotalcite (Mg6Al2(OH)16CO3·4H2O), the precursor of MgAl2O4 spinel, has been synthesized via a coprecipitation method, using AlCl3·6H2O and MgCl2·6H2O as the raw materials, and NaOH and Na2CO3 as the precipitators. The effect of the reaction temperature, from 50℃ to 90℃, on the Mg-Al hydrotalcite nanocrystallites was analyzed. The nanocrystallites were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It was confirmed that Mg-Al hydrotalcite nanocrystallites are pure and regularly hexagonal, having a typical hydrotalcite structure. The Mg-Al hydrotalcite crystals grow from about 30 nm to 100 nm with an increase in the reaction temperature from 50℃ to 90 ℃, and the crystal form also tends to perfect and regularly hexagonal. Transcriptome analysis of differentially expressed genes in rabbits’ ovaries by digital gene-expression profiling

        Tao Huang,Ya‑dong Wang,Ming‑ming Xue,Xue Feng,Cai‑Xia Sun,An‑si Wang,Shu‑yu Xie,Meng Zhang,Gui‑Rong Sun,Ming Li 한국유전학회 2018 Genes & Genomics Vol.40 No.7

Reproduction is a complex physiological process that is regulated by multiple genes and pathways. Compared with studies of common livestock, fewer studies of genes related to the fertility of rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) have been reported, and the molecular mechanism of their high productivity is still poorly understood. To identify candidate genes associated with development and prolificacy in rabbits, we analyzed gene expression differences among the ovaries of mature Californian rabbit (LC), and mature (HH) and immature Harbin white rabbit (IH) using digital gene expression technology. We detected 885 and 321 genes that were significantly differentially expressed in comparisons between HH/IH and HH/LC, respectively. The functions of the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were determined by GO classification and KEGG pathway analysis. The results suggest that most of the DEGs between the mature and immature developmental stages were predominantly associated with DNA replication, cell cycle, and progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation, and most were up-regulated in the IH group compared with the HH group. The DEGs involved in disparate fecundities between HH and LC were associated with reproduction, fructose and mannose metabolism, steroid hormone biosynthesis, and pyruvate metabolism. Our results will contribute to a better understanding of changes in the regulatory network in ovary at different developmental stages and in different fertility of rabbit.

Effects of a Compound Extract from Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb, Grifola umbellata (pers.) Pilat, and Gambogia on Human Gastric Carcinoma MGC-803 Cells

        Li Zhao,Xiao-Nan Zhang,Hong-Yan Gu,Jia Wang,Lei Tao,Rong Mu,Qing-Long Guo 한국식품과학회 2009 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.18 No.1

Three traditional Chinese medicines, Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb, Grifola umbellata (pers.) Pilat, and Gambogia, are combined to form a compound extract, AGC. In this study, the in vitro and in vivo inhibitory effects of AGC on human gastric carcinoma MGC-803 cells were demonstrated, and the molecular mechanisms underlying these effects are investigated. Our results indicate that AGC inhibited MGC-803 cell growth in a dose-dependent manner as measured by a 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, with an IC?? of about 6.045±0.69 ㎍/㎖. In vivo, AGC inhibited growth of human gastric carcinoma in xenograft tumors in nude mice, and the inhibitory rate reached 55.2% at 300 ㎎/㎏. The pro-apoptotic activity of AGC was attributed to its ability to decrease the expression of Bcl-2 and Pro-caspase3 and increase the expression of Bax. These results demonstrate that AGC can effectively induce programmed cell death and may be a promising anti-tumor drug in human gastric carcinoma.

Effects of fermented feed on growth performance, nutrient metabolism and cecal microflora of broilers

        Li Jiantao,Tao Lijuan,Zhang Rong,Yang Guiqin 아세아·태평양축산학회 2022 Animal Bioscience Vol.35 No.4

Objective: To investigate the effects of enzyme-bacteria co-fermented feed on broilers, the basal diet (BF) was pretreated by microbial enzyme co-fermentation, and then different proportions of BF were replaced to study its effects on growth performance, nutrient metabolism and cecal microflora of broilers. Methods: Four hundred and eighty 1-day-old broilers were randomly divided into 6 groups. The control group was fed with BF, and groups 1 to 4 were treated with dried fermented feed (DFF) instead of 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% the BF, and group 5 was treated with wet fermented feed (WFF) instead of 10% the BF, named BF, 10% DFF, 15% DFF, 20% DFF, 25% DFF, and 10% WFF, respectively. The trial period was 42 days. Results: The results showed that the average daily feed intake and average daily gain of 10% DFF, 15% DFF, and 10% WFF groups were significantly higher than those of the control group at 22 to 42 days and 1 to 42 days (p<0.05). Except for 10% DFF group, Firmicutes of all treatment were higher than that of control group. The Bacteroides of each treatment group were lower than that of the control group (p>0.05). At the same time, the nutrient apparent metabolic rate and cecal microbial abundance of each treatment group had an increasing trend (p>0.05). Conclusion: In conclusion, the feed fermented by enzyme and bacteria had a potential promoting effect on the growth performance and nutrient digestibility of broilers. Response Mechanism of Mechanical Behavior with Mg Plate Microstructure Evolution During Al/Mg/Al Composite Plate Rolled by Hard Plate

        Rong He Gao,Feng Li,Wen Tao Niu,Peng Da Huo 대한금속·재료학회 2023 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.29 No.7

The long manufacturing process, difficult coordinated regulation of structural properties and interface bonding ability aresome of the difficulties that restrict the rapid development of lightweight composite plate forming and manufacturing for along time. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes adding hard plate to roll Al/Mg/Al composite plates. The thickness of Mg/Al is 10:1, and the hard-plate rolling process experiments were carried out by designing five groupsof different temperatures. The influence of magnesium plate microstructure evolution on the interface bonding ability andmechanical behavior of composite plates is mainly studied. Under the same conditions, the matrix microstructure changesgreatly from 200 to 350 °C. At 350 °C, the microstructure of Mg plate in ND is uniform without shear bands and twins. Itsrecrystallization ratio is 31.77%, which played a role in weakening the texture and reducing its anisotropy. Interestingly,in the process of three-point bending, the non-basal plane slip and the basal plane slip start simultaneously, the maximumbending strength of the composite plate reaches 504 MPa, and the interface was well bonded without obvious bending fatiguephenomenon. The tear test showed that the tear load reaches 0.42 kN, and the elastic elongation stage of Al is longer than thetear propagation stage, and the interface bonding was uniform. The hard plate rolling process provides scientific guidancefor the forming and preparation of composite plates.
