      • 韓國의 中學校 科學敎科書와 美國 SciencePlus의 生物領域 比較

        한국의 중학교 과학교과서와 미국 SciencePlus의 생물영역을 내용을 검토하고 상호 비교 분석한 결과 다음과 같다. 생물영역의 지면 수를 보면 한국 과학교과서는 265쪽인데 미국의 SciencePlus는 294쪽이었으나 SciencePlus는 그 내용이 탐구학습에 초점을 두고 많은 연습문제로 되어있다. SciencePlus는 많은 그림이 천연색으로 소개되어 생동감 있는 자료로 소개되었으며 그림을 보면 학습목표에 도달하도록 교도발견 식으로 편제되었고 탐구문제가 단원마다 그 앞에 8∼17항목이 있었다. 실험 수를 보면 한국 과학교과서는 60회 미국 SciencePlus는 33회로 되어 있었고. SciencePlus의 경우 한국 과학교과서 보다 실험 수는 줄이고 실험을 설명하는 그림이나 사진으로 대치하고 우수 학생을 위한 지도 자료가 교사용 지도서에 많이 제시되었다. 수준 강조도를 보면 한국 과학교과서는 개체, 조직과 기관 순으로 지면 수를 점유했으며 미국 SciencePlus에서는 생물과 환경 단원이 많은 지면 수로 점유했다. S.T.S 주제 영역에 따른 강조도의 지면 수를 비교하면 한국은 전체 지면의 6.3%의 점유로 ①기술 발달의 영향 ②환경 ③천연자원 순으로 구성되었으며 미국 SciencePlus는 전체 지면의 76.5%의 점유로 ①환경 ②천연자원 ③과학 사회학 순으로 구성되어 있다. We came to a conclusion after we compared the biology part of the Korean middle school science textbooks with that of SciencePlus in U.S.A. It is as follows. The biology part has 265 pages in the Korean science textbooks, while SciencePlus has 294 pages, and its content is focused on many explorations and composed of examples of brain teasers. In SciencePlus's case, a lot of color pictures are composed in a guided discovery way and they are showed vividly so that students may reach the learning points with ease and including 8 to 17 explorations. Experiments are presented 60 times in the Korean textbooks, while they are presented 33 times in SciencePlus. Though SciencePlus reduced number of experiment than the Korean textbooks, but it has many explorations, brain teasers, science in Actions, Science on your owns, pictures and photographes that can help students to understand well and teaching materials for superior students are shown very much in the guidance book for teachers. When we examine the focus from each level, ontogeny takes the largest, histology and organs are the next in the Korean textbooks, while histology and organs takes the largest, ontogeny is the next in SciencePlus. When we examine the focus of each subject, the structure and the function is emphasized in the Korean textbooks, while life and environment is emphasized in SciencePlus. When we examine pages of the focus according to the subject sphere of S.T.S, in the Korean textbooks the first is the influence of development of technology, the second is environment and the third natural resources (total 6.3%), while the first is environment, the next is natural resources and the third is sociology of science in SciencePlus (total 76.5%).

      • MOCVD에 의한 ZnSe₁-xTex/InP 계면의 PL 특성

        ZnSe1-XTeX film has been grown over the entire range of composition on InP substrates by the low pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) using diethylzinc (DEZn), diethylselenium (DESe) and diethyltellurium (DETe).ZnSe1-XTeX/InP interfaces have been investigated by low temperature photoluminescence (77K).Lattice match improves the interface state of hetrojunction, but the lattice matching effect of ZnSe0.54Te0.46/InP interface was not observed clearly in this experiment.When the ZnSe1-XTeX films was grown on InP, the surface acceptor state and the donor-to-surface state were introduced at 60meV and 1.2eV respectively.This experimental results can be explained by assuming that increasing the composition X reduced the concentration of surface states which were generated by the growth of films.

        茅亭의 社會經濟的 機能의 推轉過程 : 그 發展形態를 中心으로

        This thesis is attempted to analyze the transitional process of the socio-economic function of MO-JONG by surveying its growing types. Generally to say, MO-JONG(羚桭) is a special kind of hut which was constructed joint-work, and of a festival of the rural society. MO-JONG having only a floor, is roofed with straw or tile and zinc, and it is generally sityuated at the entrance of the village. It is distributed, on the contrary, in the HO-NAM district, especially in CHOLLANAM-DO and CHOLLAPOOK-DO provinces. MO-JONG sometimes, is called with the other names, that is SI-JONG or WOOSAN-GAK. SI-JONG is generally called in the northwest counties of CHOLLANAM-DO and the south-west counties of CHOLLAPOOK-DO. WOOSAN-GAK, on the other hand, is called in the most counties of CHOLLANAM-DO except the counties mentioned as above. But MO-JONG is the most common and original name of this kind of hut. According to my survey, there are three types of MO-JONG. The characteristics of A type are as follow;1) It is roofed with only Korean tile, and put up with the columns. It is, therefore, very large in scale and durable. 2) It has the proper name, for example, BOOYONG-JONG, YONGPAHL-JONG,etc,. B type is roofed with straw or the common tiles, and put up with the common wooden posts. It has not the proper name. C type is roofed with only straw and its scale is very small. At the same time, it is situated very near to the rice fields. Among these three types of MO-JONG, B type is the most typical and common type. It seems to me that the differentiation of these three types of MO-JONG is connected with the transitional process of its socio-economic functions. What is the function of MO-JONG? In other words, with what purposes has it been working in a rural country? first, it has been using as the rural council under the rural comminity. The general meeting of the village, therefore, is held to synthesize all the villagers' opinion about the self-government of the rural society at MO-JONG,-We may say this is the autonomous function of MO-JONG. Secondly, it has been using as the meeting place for composing and abjusting of the farmer's joint-work in Summer,-We may say this is the economic function of MO-JONG. It, therefore, has become a means of improving the productivity of farm labour by carrying out this function. At the same time, it contributes to the rural society depending upon this function. Third, it has been sometimes used as the festival place of the village, -We may say this is its religious and cultural function. At early times, the first and important function of MO-JONG was that of rural council. But nowadays, it is mainly used with the economic purposes. Such an economic function of MO-JONG is carried fully on its B type and C type. Judging from these facts, we may remark that the first and most important function of MO-JONG has been converted from the autonomous function to that of economy, as the social structure of rural community has been changed from the self-sustained and autonomous community to the smallest unit of public administration today.

      • 포도 뿌리혹병 방제를 위한 길항균 선발

        Previous study showed that crown gall disease is very severe on the tetraploid cultivars of grape. One of the promising control measures of the disease is biological control using a antagonist against pathogen, Agrobacterium vitis. Total 215 bacteria and 21 putative agrobacteria were isolated from galls of grapevine and a Korean wild grape, Vitis amurensis respectively. Antagonistic ability of the isolates was checked by growth inhibition test of pathogens, A. tumefaciens and A. vitis on agar and on tamato seedling by co-inoculation of the isolates and pathogen. Two selected antagonists, isolate 197 and Va 21 strongly suppressed gall formation of A. vitis K306 on grapevine when they were co-inoculated with pathogen K306. Both gall size and rate of gall formation were significantly lower on grapevines inoculated of 197-K306(9:1) or Va 21-K306(9:1) mixture than on them inoculated of just K306. Antagonistic ability of the two isolates was similar to F2/5, which is known as a strongest antagonist against A. vitis so far. Further field study for biological control of crown gall disease on grapevine by the two isolates is needed.

      • Composition and Growth Rate of ZnSe₁-xTex Epilayers Grown by MOCVD

        ZnSe1-XTeX epitaxial layers have been grown by low pressure and atmospheric pressure MOCVD in which H2 or Ar were used as a carrier gas. Composition and growth rate were measured as functions of mole fraction of diethyletellurim FDETE at the gas inlet. The X vs FDETE was compared with the theory developed by Stringfellow. Farely good agreement was observed under the assumption that tellurium species relevant to the growth are either H2Te or Te envolved at the vicinity of substrate surfaces.

      • 냉장화 상자에 의한 딸기의 유통중 품질변화

        딸기의 유통기간 연장과 품질보존을 목적으로 냉장화 유통방법과 유통중의 품질변화를 조사하였다. 이 경우 전처리로서 예냉처리는 유통기간의 연장과 품질보존에 상당한 효과를 나타내었다. 또 냉매는 드라이 아이스가 양호하였으며 그 양은 딸기 ㎏당 150g정도가 적당하였다. 5-6월경에 생산된 딸기를 냉장화 유통시킬 경우 일반유통법에 비하여 약 2일정도 유통기간이 연장되었다. To investigate the effect of refrigerate case on the quality of strawberry during circulation, the temperature changes on the amounts of dry ice cube were examined. And also, the effect of precooling on the changes in temperature and quality of the fruits were studied. Strawberry precooling-treated at 4℃ for 24hours was prolonged the shelf-life, and quality was progressed. 150g of dry-ice per ㎏ of the strawberry was kept quality. It was prolonged more 2 days than present circulation system.

      • 토끼에서 근육주사시 입자 크기에 따른 amoxicillin의 비교 약물동태학

        To investigate the pharmacokinetic difference between the two amoxicillin (AMX) particles in rabbits after intramuscular injection (i.m.), both of AMX-S (particle size: 10 ㎍) and AMX-L (particle size: 100 ㎍) were injected into New Zealand White rabbits (1.2±0.3 ㎏) at a dose rate of 10 ㎎/㎏ of body weight. In this study, serum AMX concentrations were detected by microbiological assay with E. coli BE 1186 which shows high antibiotic sensitivity. After i.m. administration, AMX-S and AMX-L were best fitted as 1-compartment model with the absorption and elimination phase. The biological half-life (T_1/2, _k10) of AMX-S is 4.06±1.09 h and that of AMX-L 4.76±0.69 h. The serum maximal concentration time (T_max) of AMX-S and AMX-L were 0.88±0.17 h and 0.77±0.11 h, respectively. Maximal AMX concentration (C_max) (AMX-S: 5.71±0.62 ㎍/㎖, AMX-L: 5.04±0.25 ㎍/㎖) in serum showed a significant difference (p<0.05). In terms of bioequivalance, however, there was no difference between the two AMX's after i.m. injection in the basis of C_max and AUC.
