        용도지역의 공간적 특성과 범죄발생 특성 분석 연구

        Developed at the center of the Old Downtown, J-City became a multi-centralization structure as the functions of the city center were dispersed after the creation of the innovative city, and the Old Downtown is declining due to the reduction of the floating population and the differentiation of functions. Crime data analysis shows that theft-crime hot spot are forming in the newly formed urban areas, but hot spots in the Old Downtown are also steadily maintained. In this study, the relationship between crime and spatial characteristics and physical factors was analyzed among residential Areas and commercial Areas located in the Old Downtown of J-City, based on the most frequent cases of theft in the A-Dong (Residential Areas) and B-Dong (Commercial Areas). The targeted crime was set at the center of theft (street, invasion) considered controllable by the CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). Physical factors to be used for analysis through prior research were classified as street characteristics, building characteristics, facilities and space characteristics, crime safety characteristics, and space characteristics. The study found that first, in the residential Areas of A-dong theft is related to emergency bell Presence or Absence and fifth major crimes are related to street-wide appropriateness, emergency bell Presence or Absence and integration, and violent crime is related to entertainment place. In particular, crime tended to increase as the degree of integration by segmented axial angle analysis was reduced. This is consistent with existing studies, which show that the centrality of space and the amount of walking (or floating population) are closely related to crime. Second, in the commercial Areas of B-dong, there was no significant relationship between theft and five major crimes with physical factors. But Violent crimes were found to be related to the state of management of the street environment, whether or not to enter a separate space, whether empty houses or public notices are available, and Presence or Absence there is a safe place (convenience store). Third, the analysis of the relationship between spatial characteristics and theft without distinction of use area showed that appropriateness of street width, cleaning and management of street, hideable obstacle, management of entrance door on the first floor, installation of barrier windows, CCTV monitoring range, lighting facility, visibility of crime facilities, entertainment center, and safe space are related to crime. The area under study is narrow and the crime sample is small, so the generalization of the results is limited. But, The significance of the research is that the differences in the physical environment of each Land Use Areas were identified and the occurrence of theft changed depending on the spatial characteristics and physical factors. In subsequent studies, it is necessary to consider the relationship of criminal occurrence by combining the characteristics of the social population along with the spatial characteristics for a wider range of use areas. 원도심을 중심으로 발달한 J시는 혁신도시조성 후 도심 기능이 분산되면서 다핵화 구조가 되었고, 유동인구 감소 및 기능의 분화로 원도심은 쇠퇴하고 있다. 범죄자료 분석결과 새로 형성된 도심지역으로 절도범죄 핫스팟이 형성되고 있지만 원도심에서의 핫스팟도 꾸준히 유지되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 J시 원도심에 위치한 주거밀집지역과 상가밀집지역 중 절도범죄가 가장 많이 일어난 A동(주거밀집지역)과 B동(상업밀집지역)을 대상으로 범죄와 공간특성 및 물리적 요인의 관계를 분석하였다. 대상 범죄는 범죄예방디자인(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, CPTED)으로 통제 가능하다고 여겨지는 절도범죄(노상, 침입) 중심으로 설정하고, 선행연구고찰을 통해 분석에 사용할 물리적 요인은 가로특성, 건물특성, 시설특성, 범죄안전 특성, 공간구조 특성으로 분류하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 주거밀집지역인 A동에서 절도범죄는 비상벨 유무, 5대 범죄는 가로 폭의 적절성, 비상벨 유무, 통합도와 관계가 있으며, 폭력범죄는 유흥업소와 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 분절축선 각도분석에 의한 통합도가 낮아질수록 범죄가 증가하는 경향이 있었는데, 이는 기존 연구와 일치하는 것으로 공간의 중심성과 보행량(또는 유동인구)이 범죄와 밀접한 관련이 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 상업밀집지역인 B동에서는 절도범죄와 5대 범죄는 물리적 요인과 유의미한 관계는 확인되지 않았지만, 폭력범죄는 가로환경 관리상태, 이격공간 출입통제 여부, 빈집 또는 공지여부, 안심공간(편의점) 유무가 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 용도지역을 구분하지 않고 공간적 특성과 절도범죄의 관계를 분석한 결과 가로 폭의 적절성, 가로의 청소 및 관리상태, 은신가능 장애물, 1층 출입문 관리상태, 방범창 설치여부, CCTV 감시범위, 조명시설, 방범시설 시인성, 유흥업소, 안심공간 유무 등이 범죄와 유의미한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구대상 지역의 범위가 협소하고 범죄표본이 적어 결과의 일반화에 한계가 있지만 용도지역별 물리적 환경의 차이를 규명하였고, 공간적 특성 및 물리적 요인에 따라서 절도범죄 발생이 변함을 확인했다는 측면에서의 연구의 의의를 가진다. 후속 연구에서는 보다 다양한 용도지역을 대상으로 공간적 특성과 함께 사회인구적 특성을 종합하여 범죄발생의 관계를 고찰할 필요가 있다.

        소화기 ; 대전 지역에서 급성 A형 간염의 유전자형에 따른 임상 특성 고찰

        목적: B형 간염이나 C형 간염 등은 유전자형에 따른 차이가 알려져 있지만, 국내에서 증가하는 IIIA 유전자형과 기존의 IA 유전자형에 의한 간염의 차이가 거의 알려진 바 없다. 따라서 대전 지역에서 발생한 급성 A형 간염의 유전자형에 따른 차이를 알고자 한다. 방법: 2009년 11월부터 2010년 6월까지 급성 A형 간염으로 진단되면서 유전자형이 확인된 81명의 환자를 대상으로 임상적 소견들과 검사실 소견들을 전향적으로 연구하였다. 결과: 평균 나이는 32.6±7.4세이며, 평균 입원 기간은 7.7±2.4일이었다. 직업은 서비스직, 사무직 그리고 교육직이 가장 많았다. 유전자형 간의 급성 간염에 따른 증상들의 종류는 별다른 차이가 없었다. 유전자형에 따른 증상의 빈도는 IIIA 유전자형에서 구토와 설사가, IA 유전자형에서는 복통과 피부 반점이 상대적으로 많았다. 검사실 소견에서는 IIIA 유전자형에서 헤모글로빈의 평균, CRP 평균, AST 최대 수치 평균은 상대적으로 유의하게 높았다. 그리고 AST와 ALT 및 총 빌리루빈 최대 수치들과 INR의 수치가 IIIA 유전자형에서 상대적으로 높게 분포하는 경향을 보였다. 결론: 대전 지역에서 유행하는 급성 A형 간염에서 IIIA 유전자형에 따른 급성 간염은 기존의 IA 유전자형과 차이가 있을 것으로 보이며, 다기관 연구를 통한 심도 깊은 연구가 필요하겠다. Background/Aims: Acute viral hepatitis A is a major health problem in Korea and the influx of genotype IIIA is thought to be one reason. We examined the differences in the clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of genotypes IA and IIIA in Daejeon. Methods: From November 2009 to June 2010, 81 patients positive for IgM anti-HAV were enrolled prospectively. The hepatitis A was genotyped using real-time polymerase chain reaction. The clinical characteristics and laboratory results were compared on the Results: The mean patient age was 32.6±7.4 years. The mean hospitalization was 7.7±2.4 days. The patient occupation varied. Clinically, vomiting and diarrhea were relatively more prevalent in genotype IIIA than in IA. Abdominal pain and skin spots were relatively more prevalent in genotype IA than in IIIA. The hemoglobin, peak aspartate aminotransferase (AST) level, and C-reactive protein were statistically higher in genotype IIIA than in IA. The distributions of the peak AST, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and total bilirubin values tended to be perched in genotype IIIA than in IA. The international normalized ratio (INR) tended to be slightly prolonged in genotype IIIA than in IA. Conclusions: Recently, genotype IIIA of acute viral hepatitis A has become prevalent in Daejeon. Hepatitis A genotype IIIA probably causes worse laboratory abnormalities than genotype IA.

        Effect of Jaeumkanghwatang (JEKHT), a Polyherbal Formula on the Pharmacokinetics Profiles of Tamoxifen in Male SD Rats (1) - Single Oral Combination Treatment of Tamoxifen 50 mg/kg with JEKHT 100 mg/kg within 5 min -

        Objectives: The objective of this study was to elucidate the effect of Jaeumkanghwatang (JEKHT) on the plasma concentration and pharmacokinetics of tamoxifen in combination therapy as a process of the comprehensive and integrative medicine against breast cancer. Methods: After 50 mg/kg of tamoxifen treatment, JEKHT 100 mg/kg was orally administered within 5 min. The plasma were collected at 30 min before administration, 30min, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 24 hrs after end of JEKHT treatment, and plasma concentrations of tamoxifen were analyzed using LC-MS/MS methods. PK parameters of tamoxifen ($T_{max}$, $C_{max}$, AUC, $t_{1/2}$ and $MRT_{inf}$) were analysis as compared with tamoxifen single administered rats. Results: JEKHT did not influenced on the plasma concentrations and pharmacokinetics of tamoxifen after single oral co-administration, within 5min except for some negligible effects on plasma concentration. The $T_{max}$, $C_{max}$, AUC, $t_{1/2}$ and $MRT_{inf}$ of tamoxifen in co-administered rats were quite similar to those of tamoxifen single treated rats. Conclusions: Based on the results of the present study, JEKHT did not influenced on the oral bioavailability of tamoxifen, when they were single co-administered within 5min. However, more detail pharmacokinetic studies should be tested to conclude the possibilities that can be used as comprehensive and integrative therapy with JEKHT and tamoxifen for breast cancers, when they were co-administered, like the effects on the pretreatment of JEKHT and after repeat co-administrations.

      • Genetic diversity analysis of Agaricus bisporus strains by Inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) and SSR–PCR

        Twenty Inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) and 30 SSR primers were used to assess genetic diversity of 64 Agaricus strains including 45 A. bisporus strains and other 19 Agaricus spp. Of them, four ISSR primers, (GA)₈T, (AG)₈YC, (GA)₈C and (CTC)₆and seven SSR markers produced PCR polymorphic bands between the Agaricus species or within A. bisporus strains. PCR polymorphic bands were inputted for UPGMA cluster analysis. Forty five strains of A. bisporus are genetically clustered into 6 groups, showing coefficient similarity from 0.75 to 0.9 among them. The varieties, Saea, saedo, Saejeong and Saeyeon that have recently been developed in Korea were involved in the same group with closely genetic relationship of coefficient similarity over 0.96, whereas, other strains were genetically related to A. bisporus strains that were introduced from USA, Eroupe and Chinese.

        Poly(vinylbenzyl chloride-glycidyl methacrylate)/Polyethylene Composite Anion Exchange Membranes for Vanadium Redox Battery Application

        Anion exchange membranes for a vanadium redox flow battery (VRB) were prepared by pore-filling on a PE substrate with the copolymerization of vinylbenzyl chloride (VBC) and glycidyl methacrylate (GMA). The ion exchange capacity, water uptake and weight gain ratio were increased with a similar tendency up to 65% of GMA content, indicating that the monomer improved the pore-filling degree and membrane properties. The vanadium ion permeability and open-circuit voltage were also investigated. The permeability of the VG65 membrane was only $1.23{\times}10^{-7}\;cm^2\;min^{-1}$ compared to $17.9{\times}10^{-7}\;cm^2\;min^{-1}$ for Nafion 117 and $1.8{\times}10^{-7}\;cm^2\;min^{-1}$ for AMV. Consequently, a VRB single cell using the prepared membrane showed higher energy efficiency (over 80%) of up to 100 cycles compared to the commercial membranes, Nafion 117 (ca. 58%) and AMV (ca. 70%).

        지역불균형 시각에서 인천경제자유구역과 원도심과의 상호작용 분석: 인천시 중구, 연수구 및 서구를 중심으로

        본 연구는 지역불균형 시각에서 인천경제자유구역과 각 자치구 원도심과의 상호작용 분석을 실시하였다. 지역의 경제성장과정에서 불균형 발전을 논한 A. Hirschman과 G. Myrdal은 경제발전 초기에는 성장 잠재력이 높은 거점지역이 주변지역의 많은 경제활동들을 흡수하는 분극화(역류) 효과 이후 누적(파급)효과가 나타는데 A. Hirschman은 불균형 발전의 완화를 가져온다고 주장하는 반면, G. Myrdal은 불균형 발전의 누적적 가속화가 진행된다고 주장한다. 2003년 인천경제자유구역 지정이후 18년 가량 지난 시점에서 각 자치구와의 경제요소간 상호작용 분석 결과, 인천경제자유구역 각 지구와 자치구 원도심간의 불균형 발전이 심화되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 불균형 발전을 완화하기 위해, 중구 원도심 활성화, 서구 및 연수구 원도심의 정주성 제고, 보행친화적 연계를 위한 공간계획 수립 및 IFEZ에서 원도심으로 파급효과를 야기할 수 있는 산업경제정책 마련 등이 필요함을 제시하였다. This study analyzed the interaction between the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) and the old downtown of each autonomous district from a perspective of regional imbalance. In discussing uneven development in the economic growth process of a region, Hirschman and Myrdal argue that in the early stages of economic development, a regional base with high growth potential has a trickle-down (spread) effect after the polarized (back-wash) effect in that it absorbs a lot of economic activities from surrounding areas. However, while Hirschman argues that this mitigates uneven development, Myrdal argues that cumulative acceleration of uneven development continues. About 18 years after the designation of the IFEZ in 2003, this analysis of the interaction between economic factors of each autonomous district revealed that uneven development between each district of the IFEZ and the old downtowns of autonomous districts has been deepening. To alleviate this uneven development, this study suggested the necessity to revitalize the old downtown of Jung-gu, enhance the settlement of the old downtowns of Seo-gu and Yeonsu-gu, establish a space plan for pedestrian-friendly connections, and prepare industrial economic policies that can bring trickle-down effects from IFEZ to old downtowns, and so on.

      • Clinical Impact of Exosomal microRNA as a Novel Biomarker of Liver Fibrosis

        Aims: Many approaches have been suggested for the non-invasive diagnosis of liver fibrosis, including the use of serum biomarkers and ultrasound-based elastography, but none has yet replaced liver biopsy. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been suggested as potential diagnostic tools for liver diseases. We investigated alterations in the expression of serum exosomal miRNAs with the progression of liver fibrosis and evaluated their clinical applicability as biomarkers. Methods: This study prospectively enrolled 71 patients who underwent liver biopsy at a large-volume academic hospital in Korea. Exosomes were extracted from serum samples, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) of miRNAs was conducted in patients from different stages of liver fibrosis. Differential expression of miRNAs was quantified using targeted real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). A model was derived to discriminate advanced fibrosis based on miRNA levels using multivariate logistic regression. The performance of this model was evaluated and compared using area under the receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) and De- Long’s test. Results: NGS data revealed the relationship between exosomal miR-122 expression and liver fibrosis progression. The level of miR-122 decreased as the pathologic fibrosis grade progressed from stage 0 to 4. Patients with biopsy-proven advanced fibrosis had significantly lower levels of exosomal miR-122 (P<0.001) than those without advanced fibrosis. Exosomal miR-122 exhibited a fair performance in discriminating advanced fibrosis with an AUC of 0.77, which improved to 0.86 in combination with fibrosis-4 score (FIB-4) and transient elastography (TE). This value was higher than that reported for any other non-invasive modalities, including TE (AUC of 0.80) or FIB-4 (AUC of 0.57) alone. In a subgroup of patients with a non-viral etiology of liver disease, the performance of exosomal miR-122 as a biomarker improved, evident from the increase in the AUC value to 0.87. In this subpopulation, the combination model of miR- 122, FIB-4, and TE showed the best discrimination ability (AUC of 0.90), which was significantly higher than that of TE alone (AUC of 0.83; DeLong’s test P=0.046). Inhibition of miR-122 expression increased the proliferation of the human hepatic stellate cell line, LX-2, and upregulated the expression of collagen- 1A, a-smooth muscle actin, fibronectin, and transforming growth factor-ß. Conclusions: Exosomal miR-122 may serve as a novel biomarker for discriminating advanced liver fibrosis, and its accuracy may enhanced in combination with other non-invasive tests such as FIB-4 and TE.

      • 고지방식이가 운동시 흰쥐의 글리코겐 이용에 미치는 영향

        Carbohydrate and fat ingestion during exercise are essential nutrient, but a number of opinion is different from their contents of food. In this point of view, to study how high-fat dietary contents affects glycogen utilization, 48 female Sprague-Dawley rats were trained on the treadmill trained for 4wk with consuming two high-fat diet and one high-carbohydrate diet. All animals were fed 79%high-fat diet(n=16, 79F), 40% high-fat diet(n=16, 40F), 70% high-carbohydrate diet(n=16, 70C). After the final day of training, one-half of rats in each the three groups were run to exhaustion (E), whereas the remaining rats served as rested controls (R). All animals were trained on a motorized rodent treadmill. The animals ran for 30min/d at 28m/min(0% grade), analysis items were glycogen, body weight and %Fat were measured. All data were examined by means of one-way ANOVA and significance was set at the p<0.05. The Duncan method was used for a post hoc test. Body weight were similar among the 79F, 40F and 70C groups. %Fat was significantly greater in animals that consumed the 79F group than in those on the 70C group (P<0.05), even though similar body weight each other. Generally liver and muscle glycogen concentration had more in 79FR, on the other hand, had less in 79FE compared with the others. The mean overall glycogen utilization rate was depressed in muscle and liver after animals were on the 79% F diet. In summary, the present study has suggested that consumption of 79% F diet during endurance training can lead to an increase in exercise performance in female rats. Some of the consequences training on F diet are an increase in body fat deposition and slower utilization of glycogen during exercise. These data indicate that rats exposed to a high-fat diet are capable of prolonging exercise in spite of limited glycogen stores. This improved capacity for exercise appears to be partially the result of muscular adaptations to the diet, which apparently increase the ability to oxidize fat and concomitantly spare glycogen.

        A case of subdural hematoma in patient with chronic myeloid leukemia treated with high-dose imatinib mesylate

        Imatinib mesylate (IM) is used to treat a wide range of diseases, including Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), on account of its high tolerability and low incidence of minor adverse events. Hemorrhage is thought to be a rare complication of IM. Recently, IM has been associated with reduced a2-plasmin inhibitor and platelet dysfunction. We report here the case of a 33-year-old female patient with CML who experienced subdural hematoma after an incremental increase in IM dosage due to a loss of complete molecular response. This case indicates that physicians should be alert to this atypical cause of headache in patients taking high-dose IM.
