The vacuum interrupter operated by permanent magnet actuator(PMA) gives outlook on improved characteristic, higher reliability and cost price reduction as well as the feature of simple structure and few component. For the anlysis and design of permanent magnetic actuator, not only electric, magnetic and mechanical phenomena but also material properties should be taken into account. Aim of the present paper is modeling of permanent magnet actuator(PMA) used in medium voltage distribution systems and remodeling by permanent magnetic. Coupled finite element method is used to analysis the modeling and we compared with previous PMA model and improved PMA model.

This paper deals with the distributions of magnetic flux of an electro-magnetic chuck which is one of the most commonly used chucking attachments in a surface grinding machine. The measured results showed good correspondence with the theoretical results which were previously presented by the same author. The normal and tangential components of the magnetic flux density were measured using the gauss meter. The measured results indicated that the magnetic flux density was periodically changing over the transverse position to the magnetic pole. The normal component of magnetic flux decreases very rapidly for the increased z position.

In this study, lubrication characteristics of mechanical elements which is operated under the elastohydrodynamic lubrication condition has been analyzed numerically. According to the phase angle, wavelength, amplitude of surface roughness variation of two contact bodies, pressure distribution and film thickness have been analyzed by using finite difference method. Lubrication characteristics found the fact, when the dimensionless wave amplitude(α/hs) is 0.8, dimensionless wavelength of λ/b > 4 can produce negligible surface roughness effects. When the wave surface has shorter wavelength and/or larger amplitude, lubrication characteristics should be analyzed by considering the surface roughness effect.

An analysis is presented on the influence of the axial force and a moving elastic system at constant velocities on dynamic behavior of a simple beam. The compressive force is consevative, which remain in constant direction. A moving elastic system consists of spring, viscous dampers, a sprung mass, and an unsprung mass. The sprung mass is an elastic body supported at both ends by the suspension unite consisting of springs and viscous dampers, and assumed to be vibrated transvesly. The unsprung masses are the rigid bodies attached to the bottom of the suspension unit and moves, not seperating from a simple beam, at constant velocity on it. As the position of a moving elastic system moves to the right on a simple beam, the deflection of it is increased. The deflection of a simple beam is nearly influenced by the velocities of a moving elastic body in total mode. Since the spring force control the transverse vibration of a simple beam, the large force of spring decrease the deflection unit and a axial force influence infitesimally on the deflection of a simple beam.

This paper presents a new magneto-thermal finite element analysis for predicting the temperature rise of the EHV GIS bus bar. The power losses of a bus bar calculated by the magnetic field analysis are used as the input data to predict the temperature rise for the thermal analysis. The heat-transfer coefficients on the boundaries are analytically calculated by applying the Nusselt number considering material constant and model geometry for the natural convection. The temperature distribution in a bus bar by coupled magneto-thermal finite element analysis shows good agreement with the experimental data.
초음파법을 이용한 콘크리트 역타시공 이음부 공극의 화상검출특성

최근 역타시공법 등에 의한 콘크리트 구조물의 시공이 증가 추세에 있다. 이 경우, 자주 발생되는 신ㆍ구타설 콘크리트 시공이음부의 공극은 향후 구조물의 구조적인 특성과 내구성 등에 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 그러나 현재 제안되고 있는 비파괴 검사법으로는 효과적으로 이음부 공극을 평가하기에 많은 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 시공이음부의 콘크리트 충전상태를 평가하기 위해 철골철근 콘크리트와 무근 콘크리트 시험체내에 공극을 모의제작한 후, 초음파속도 측정을 실시하고, 화상처리기법을 이용하여 비교적 용이하게 해석 가능한 방법에 대해 검토하였다.
