        줄넘기 운동이 초등학교 여학생의 건강체력과 골밀도에 미치는 영향

        이 연구는 줄넘기 운동이 초등학교 여학생들의 건강체력과 골밀도에 어떤 영향을 주는지 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 Y도시에 소재한 P초등학교 5, 6학년 여학생 30명을 임의로 선정한 후, 운동집단과 비교집단에 각 각 15명씩 무선 배정하고 운동처치 전․후의 건강체력과 골밀도를 측정하였다. 운동처치 유무에 따른 집단 내 평균차이 및 실험 후의 집단 간 평균차이를 확인하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 t-검증을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 12주 동안의 줄넘기 운동은 5, 6학년 여학생의 심폐지구력, 유연성, 근력, 근지구력, 체지방률의 개선에 큰 도움이 되었다. 둘째, 12주 동안의 줄넘기 운동 후 골밀도의 측정결과 비교집단은 평균점수가 감소하였고 운동집단은 평균점수가 증가하였으나, 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론적으로, 이 연구에서 사용된 줄넘기 운동은 초등학교 여학생의 건강체력 향상에는 효과가 있었으나 골밀도 향상에는 통계적으로 유의한 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다 The purpose of this study is to investigate that rope skipping exercise influence on health related fitness and bone density of 5th and 6th grade female elementary school students. To achieve this purpose, 30 female elementary school students who 12-13 years old at P elementary school located in the Y city were randomly selected for the subject of this study. They were classified into training group (n=15) and control group(n=15), then measure health related fitness and bone density of exercise prescription of the pre and the post. This study conducted the t-test using SPSS WIN Ver. 18.0 statistics program. The results are as follows. First, the rope skipping exercise training during 12 weeks helped elementary school girls improved the cardiorespiratory endurance, flexibility, muscle strength, muscular endurance and % body fat. During 12 weeks, exercise group was shown different significantly but there was no significant difference in the control group of these all elements. Secondly, the change of bone density after 12 week rope skipping exercise training did not show significant difference statistically. In conclusion, this study using rope skipping exercise was effective for enhancement of health related fitness but bone density was no significant difference statistically.

        Diagnostic imaging features of traumatic subgaleal hematoma in a dog: a case report

        Subgaleal hematomas are accumulation of blood between periosteum and galea aponeurosis. A 2-year-old male Chihuahua was presented with a severe head swelling after trauma. Radiography and computed tomography (CT) showed a massive swelling encircling the entire calvarial vault, extending toward the cervical neck and crossing the suture line. It was heterogeneously, mild hyperdense fluid to soft tissue attenuating with contrast enhancement on CT images. On day 4, physical and imaging examination showed resolution of the calvarial swelling. Subgaleal hematoma should be considered as a differential diagnosis when there is a massive soft tissue swelling over the skull on physical and imaging examinations.

        Impedance Variation on Lattice Misoriented Few-Layer Graphene Via Layer Decoupling

        <P>We demonstrate radio frequency (RF) transmission characteristics in a layer stacked manner. Generally, as the number of graphene layers increases, the impedance is reduced and the transmission efficiency of monolayer graphene becomes better than that of chemically synthesized monolayer graphene. Depending on the stacking method, graphene may or may not be well aligned between layers; however, this characteristic affects the RF transmission. Graphene extracted from graphite is well aligned with other layers; however, synthesized graphene is randomly stacked because it is transferred and the layers are not aligned. Scattering parameters and the measured impedance shows that graphene extracted from graphite exhibits better transmission characteristics in the case of single-layer graphene, whereas synthesized graphene shows better transmission characteristics in the case of multiple-layer graphene. We calculated the change in conductivity based on the matched angle between layers of graphene and found that the conductivity was higher when the matching was less, compared to when it was well-matched. These results are also reflected in the impedance extracted from the scattering parameters. It was found that different impedance patterns are formed in single-layer graphene and in multiple layers for multi-layer graphene with stacking methods. This is because the layers are decoupled when they are randomly stacked.</P>

        Changes in the quadriceps-to-hamstring muscle ratio during wall squatting according to the straight leg raise test angle

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the muscle activity ratio of the lower limb according to changes in straight leg raise (SLR) test angles on hamstring muscle shortening during squat exercises. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: The subjects were 14 healthy adults who were informed of and agreed to the method and purpose of the study. The participants were classified into SLR groups according to two angles (over $80^{\circ}$ or under $80^{\circ}$) assessed using the SLR tests. After training and practicing the wall squat posture to be applied to the experiment, electromyography (EMG) was used to measure changes in muscle activity during the performance of a wall squat. After stretching, a sequence of pre-stretch tests were performed again, and the active and passive SLR tests were also reconducted; thereafter, a wall squat was performed again by attaching EMG electrodes. The EMG results before and after stretching were compared. Results: The muscle activity of the vastus lateralis oblique muscle increased in both groups. The muscle activity of the vastus medialis oblique muscle decreased in over both group. Rectus femorus activity increased in the under 80-degree groups but decreased in the over 80-degree group. The muscle activity of the biceps femoris muscle decreased after stretching in the over 80-degree group and increased in the under 80-degree group, and the semitendinosus muscle activity after stretching was decreased. The quadriceps-to-hamstring muscle (Q:H) ratio before and after stretching between groups showed that the hamstring muscle ratio decreased after stretching in both groups. Conclusions: The results of this study showed that the Q:H ratio before and after stretching between groups was not significantly different.

      • 대한민국 체류 난민의 취업 실태 연구

        난민 문제에 있어 화두가 되는 난민 수용 여부 및 절차에 비해 난민의 생계와 취업은 큰 주목을 받지 못하고 있다. 그러나 난민의 삶과 직결되는 것이 취업 문제인 만큼 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다고 판단하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 문헌 조사 및 질적 연구를 통해 난민 취업과 관련한 문제점들을 추출하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 연구를 진행한 결과 난민 취업과 관련하여 나타나는 문제점들을 취업 전, 취업 중, 취업 후의 세 단계로 파악할 수 있었다. 우선, 취업을 준비하기 이전 단계에서 발생하는 문제점들은 대부분 난민의 불안정한 법적 지위에 기인한다. 가장 큰 문제로 난민인정심사절차가 지나치게 길다. 현행 난민인정심사절차는 이전에 비해 다소 단축되었으나 이것이 난민들의 상황을 개선시키지는 못하고 있는 실정이다. 더불어 취업허가제도의 맹점들이 상황을 악화시키고 있으며, 한국 문화 및 한국어 교육을 공식적으로 받을 수 있는 제도의 미비 역시 문제점으로 지적된다. 둘째, 난민들은 취업 과정에서도 국가적인 취업 지원의 부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있다. 난민 취업에 대한 표준화된 지원 절차가 갖추어지지 않아 고용 센터 등을 통한 실질적인 지원이 이루어지지 않고 있으며, 이에 많은 난민들이 유료사설직업소개소를 이용하며 중개비를 약취당하고 있다. 또한 출입국관리사무소 지침에 따라 취업가능직종이 제한되고, 출신국에서의 경력 및 적성이 단절되어 다수의 난민들이 저임금 고강도 단순 노동에 종사하고 있는 실정이다. 셋째, 취업 이후에도 임금 등에서 한국인 근로자와의 차별 대우가 있는 것으로 보인다. 한국인과 동일한 시간을 근무하여도 더 적은 임금을 지급받고 있으며, 임금 인상이나 수당의 지급 역시 요구하지 못하는 상황이다. 또한 의료보험 등 일정한 사회보장제도를 제공받을 권리가 있음에도 불구하고, 그들의 불안정한 지위로 인해 노동법적 권리 구제를 받지 못하는 난민들이 존재한다. 이처럼 우리나라가 시행하는 난민법과 여타 제도에도 불구하고 난민들은 취업에 있어 여러 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 난민 문제가 전세계적 차원의 문제로 떠오른 지금, 난민 취업과 관련한 현재의 실태를 정확히 파악하여 우리의 난민 정책을 재고하고 수정할 필요가 있다. 난민인정심사절차를 개선하고 그들의 노동법적 권리를 적극적으로 구제함으로써 국가적 차원에서 난민 문제 해결에 적극 동참하기를 제안하는 바이다. With regard to Refugee Act of South Korea, few studies have focused on actual employment condition of refugees. As employment condition of refugees is directly connected to their economic life, it needs to be highlighted more than current situation. Therefore, this study aims to find problems related to actual employment condition of refugees in Korea by literature research and qualitative research. After research, this study categorizes the results into three phases-before preparing for employment, in a process of job search, and after employment-and concentrates on problems of each phase. These results are summarized as follows. First, problems that occur before employment are largely caused by refugees’ precarious status in relation to Refugee Recognition. With regard to that, the biggest problem is that Refugee Recognition Procedure takes excessively long time. In addition, loopholes in Employment Permission System in Korea aggravate refugees’ unstable employment condition as well. The blame also falls on insufficient official system offering an education of Korean culture and language, which matters to refugees to adjust in Korean employment circumstances. Second, in a process of getting a job, refugees face the problem of lack of national-level support for their employment. Consequently, many refugees can’t help heading to private employment bureaus which charge a commission for brokerage. Besides, Immigration Office limits the type of occupation that refugees can get to only simple labor such as manufacturing work. In cases of refugees who had work experience or qualifications in their own country, career discontinuity in Korea is another reason for refugees to engage in simple labor. Third, refugees who were successful in getting a job are treated discriminatingly in some ways, especially in wages. Usually refugees are paid less than Korean worker even though they work the same number of hours. Also, it is almost impossible for refugees to ask for raising their wage or to demand overtime extra pay. The last problem is that some refugees cannot get benefit from social security system for several reasons. This situation hinders them from getting any legal remedy when they get hurt or ill while working. Notwithstanding Korea’s Refugee Act and other laws concerning employment condition of refugees, refugees are suffering from problems mentioned above. As refugee issues are now worldwide problems, we have an obligation to grasp the exact state that refugees are facing, and accordingly improve our refugee policy especially with regard to their employment. This study suggests that there should be an active improvement in Refugee Recognition Procedure and standardized support for employment at national level. The improvement should also include advancement in their rights in education, wage and social security system, with a guarantee of an opportunity to do the work which corresponds with their aptitude and qualification.
