In this study, we studied properties of solder joint between chips and a substrate using Pb-free solders of Sn-5Sb (in wt.%), Sn-8Sb and Sn-10Sb solder pastes with various Sb contents for automotive power module. We also compared with Sn-90Pb solder joint used in conventional industry. The conditions of aging test were at 125 ℃ and 175 ℃ until 1,000 hours, respectively. The shear strength was measured with the shear speed of 250 ㎛/s and the shear height of 100 ㎛. After aging time to 1,000 h at 125 and 175℃, the shear strengths of the Sn-(5, 8, 10)Sb solder were larger than that of Sn-90Pb solder. The shear strengths increased with Sb contents due to the solution strengthening of Sb and precipitation of SnSb. The total thicknesses of intermetallic compounds (IMCs) were also measured to evaluate effects of Sn contents on thermal behavior of solder joint. After aging test, IMC thicknesses of the Sn-(5, 8, 10) Sb solder was thicker than those of Sn-90Pb solder. IMC thicknesses were increased by increasing Sb contents.

In this study, the electrochemical corrosion property was measured by increasing Sb contents. The corrosion property of Sn-5Sb, Sn-8Sb, Sn-10Sb, Sn-8Sb-3Ag solder alloys was measured using polarization test. The polarization curves were measured in 3.5 wt. % NaCl solution of 25 ℃. Ag/AgCl and platinum were used by reference electrode and counter electrode, respectively. Corrosion potential (Ecorr), corrosion current density (Icorr) and linear polarization resistance (LPR, Rp) were estimated from the anodic and cathodic tafel lines. SnSb IMC was more diffused in the β-Sn structure by increasing Sb contents. Also, SnSb and Ag3Sn IMC was diffused in the β-Sn structure at Sn-8Sb-3Ag solder alloy. The corrosion potential (Ecorr) and corrosion current density (Icorr) was increased by increasing Sb contents. But, the linear polarization resistance (LPR) was decreased by increasing Sb contents.
Multiple reflows에 따른 Sn-Cu-xCr/Cu 접합계면의 금속간화합물 거동 및 기계적 특성 연구

In this study, a new lead-free solder, Sn-0.7Cu-0.2Cr (wt.%) alloy, was developed. The mother alloy of Sn-0.7Cu-0.2Cr solder, which has melting temperature of about 231℃, was fabricated and then made by 300 um solder balls. To evaluate the thermo-mechanical reliability of the new solder alloy for automobile electronics, multiple reflows test was performed. As a result of the microstructure analysis, grain size increased with increasing reflow test. And microstructure of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu solder was finest. It was also confirmed that the microstructure of Sn-0.7Cu-0.2Cr solder was finer than Sn-0.7Cu solder by Cr addition. The IMC thickness results show that the presence of Cr in solder inhibits the growth of interfacial Cu6Sn5 layer and Cu3Sn layer. Specifically, the shear strength of the Sn-0.7Cu-0.2Cr/Cu solder joints increases by 9% and 22% than that of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu and Sn-0.7Cu solder joints after 10 reflows test at 1m/s shear speed. And brittle fracture rate (%) of Sn-0.7Cu-0.2Cr was lower than Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu and Sn-0.7Cu solder after 10 reflows test at 1m/s shear speed.

목적: 눈물주머니에서 발생한 소세포신경내분비암종 1예를 보고하고자 한다. 증례요약: 54세 남자 환자가 1달 전에 우안 눈물흘림을 주소로 내원하였다. 양안 눈물길관류검사상 우안은 아래눈물점을 통해 관류하였을 때, 윗눈물점으로 역류가 관찰되었고 좌안은 정상 관류를 보였다. 안와 전산화단층촬영에서 우측 눈물주머니에 3.0 × 3.4 × 3.0 cm 크기의 경계가 불분명한 종괴가 발견되었고, 우측 눈물관, 비강 및 안와 하벽과 내벽을 침범한 것이 관찰되었다. 전신마취하에 우측 안와부 하측 절개를 통해 눈물주머니 부위의 종괴 생검을 시행하였고, 조직병리학적 검사에서 소세포신경내분비암종으로 진단되어 항암치료를 하였다. 결론: 소세포신경내분비암종은 눈물주머니에 발생하는 경우가 극히 드물어 국내에서는 첫 번째 보고이다. 눈물관막힘 증상에서 눈물주머니의 소세포신경내분비암종을 감별진단으로 고려되어야 한다. Purpose: We report a case of primary small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma arising from the lacrimal sac. Case summary: A 54-year-old man presented with epiphora that had been present for 1 month. He underwent lacrimal syringe analysis of the lower punctum in the right eye, which demonstrated fluid regurgitation from the upper punctum. Computed tomography revealed a 3.0 × 3.4 × 3.0 cm mass with an ill-defined margin in the right lacrimal sac, which demonstrated invasion of the lacrimal duct and bony destruction of the inferior and medial orbital walls. Incisional biopsy and histologic examination showed that the tumor was composed of small round tumor cells. On the basis of histopathological and immunohistochemical evaluations, a diagnosis of small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma was made. The patient received chemotherapy. Conclusions: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of primary small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma arising from the lacrimal sac in Korea. Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma in the lacrimal sac should be regarded as a differential diagnosis for patients with a nasolacrimal duct obstruction.

한양대박물관에서 의뢰받은 이성산성 출토 목제품의 보존처리를 실시하였다. 보존처리에 앞서 수종조사를 실시한 결과 소나무류 1점(목제품)과 상수리나무류 11점(목제품 10점, 목기편 1편)이었다. 목기편 1점에 대한 칠도막 분석 결과 바깥쪽은 4번, 안쪽은 3번의 칠을 한 것으로 관찰되며, 총 칠의 두께는 100 µm정도로 확인되었다. 보존처리는 고분자량의 PEG#3,350 수용액(10~45%까지)에 함침처리하여 물리적 강도를 부여한 후 진공동결건조를 실시하였다. The authors did conservation treatment of wooden objects excavated from Isong Sanung Fortress upon request of the Museum of Hanyang University. The authors investigated types of the trees prior to conservation treatment to find out 1 Pinus spp. and 11 Querus spp. The authors investigated paint coating of 1 wooden ware to find out No.4 of the exterior and No.3 of the interior and about 100㎛ thickness of the lacquer layer. The conservation treatment was done to immerse wooden ware into high molecular PEG#3,350 in water solution (10∼45%) and to give physical strength and to do vacuum freeze drying.
