알콜 및 임신오조에 의한 Wernicke-Korsakoff 증후군 2례

We reported a case of Wernicke-Korsakoff's syndrome which was consultated due to psychiatric symptoms by severe hyper-emesis gravidarum and a case of Wernicke-Koraskoff's syndrom which was diagnosed and treated due to chronic alcohol drinking. Wernicke-Korsakoff's syndrome is not rarely experienced in psychiatric settings, and early diagnosis and adequate treatment is much important in clinical prognosis of that illness. His detailed clinical features, etiologies and treatments are reported here with a brief review of literatures.

The government of the Republic of Korea has been actively engaged in the process of national developm ent over the past two decades and has accomplished great development in many fields, especially in industry, and national defence. As the result, the industrial and occupational structures have been changed into highly sophisticated ones, and the national standard of living also has been upgraded. In the process of that change, higher education has been the most influential agent. Higher education itself also has developed, particularly in terms of quantitative aspect. But there is no denying the fact that wide-spread private tutoring has virtually paralyzed high school education, while putting heavy financial burdens on the household economy. And also there were fears that a sense of frustration was developing among poor families which were unable to gain access to costly private tutors. To slove these educational, economic, and social problems the「Special Committee for National Security Measures」announced a package of drastic measures, that is,「7.30 educational reform in 1981」designed to discourage overheated private tutoring and put the school education back to normal, including the abolition of individually-held college entrance examinations and the introduction of a「graduation system」. In this context the purpose of the present study aims to investigate linkage between educational policy reform and university administration. To identify the variables of school system the conceptual frame-work was tentatively built as input-transformation-output model. The principal methods used in this study are analy sing the related references and interivew. Prospecting the future of higher education in Wonkwang university, following educational administration directions were identified as follows: ① Effective and flexible management of a "graduation system". ② Operating rigid evaluation systems for academic achievement. ③ Improving the quality of faculties. ④ Improving the management of personnel and finance. ⑤ Developing public relation media.

太陽熱 集熱板의 光選擇 吸收膜 開發에 관한 硏究

There are many kinds of the solar system as known well in the solar energy utilization, the flat plate solar energy collectors are to be dealt as the most important factors among those. The estimation of efficiency in solar collector is mainly depended on the various condition and properties of the collective plate. While maintaining poor infra-red radiating properties, the solar energy is captured efficiently by the solar selective absorbing surface in the high intensity visible and near infra-red spectral regions. The solar selective absorbing surface (SSAS) is profitably employed the improvement of efficiency for the absorber plate. The fabrication of SAS was preliminarly electroplated nickel and zinc on the base of iron, copper and brass plate secondary was formed CuO and FeO black coating on the each species made up. The solar absorptance(α), emittance (ε) and those ratio (α/ε) of the fabricated species were measured for various plating time, current densities and thickness. The fabricated species Cu/Zn/CuO, Cu/Zn/FeO, Cu/Ni/CuO, Cu/Ni/FeO, Fe/Zn/CuO, Fe/Zn/FeO, Fe/Ni/CuO, Fe/Ni/FeO, Brass/Ni/FeO, Brass/Zn/CuO and Brass/Zn/FeO were measured higher ratio(α/ε) compared with the other. Fig.(2) and (3) were shown the absorptance, emittance and ratio of the selective absorbing surface(SAS) Cu/CuO and Fe/FeO at various thickness. Fig.(4)∼(6) and Fig.(7)∼(9) were shown α and ε of these SAS under the accelerated humidity condition and by the thermal durability test. Fig.(10-A,B) and (11-A,B) were presented a microscopic figure of Cu/Ni/CuO and Fe/Zn/FeO SAS before and after the thermal durability test.

The keynesian economics has been built up the main current of world economy from world war II to 1960's. But, its efficiency was greatly reduced since 1960's and its economic policy failed to solve the stagflation which coincide with the inflation and unemployment. So, the keynesian paradigm was confronted with the uppermost limit and the critical theories which make a challenge to the keynesian economies came out since 1965. The three critical theories will be studied in this paper. First, the Monetarists were in a naked contrast the keynesian in the theory of Money and Banking. Second, the national Expectations theory was insisted on by R. Lucas in early 1970's, the core of this theory is that if the economic policy of government headed for the inflation, all of the national people behaved under the state of inflation expectation, so, inflation became fixed, and the aggregate demand management policy meet with failure. Third, the Supply-Side economists present that the economic policy ought to bring to a focus in the aggregate supply side than in the aggregate demand side and must to enlarge the supply and production possibility. As mentioned above, the three counterrevolutions against the keynesian economics are different respectively in the theoretical frame and policy, but, its common points is the new protectism.

가토안에 존재하는 Cathepsin D의 정제, 특성 및 아미노산 조성

백색 가토의 망막색소상피로부터 Cathepsin D를 정제하고 효소 특성을 실험하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. Crude extract, acid treatment, ammonium sulfate 및 염석처리, DEAE-cellulose column chromatography의 정제과정을 거쳐 최종적으로 specific activity는 360.7로 crude extract보다 435배 정제되었고 회수율은 20.95% 였다. 2. 정제한 효소액은 SDS-PAGE 하여 얻은 분자량 50,000 부분의 band를 추출하여 아미노산 조성을 분석하였다. 3. 효소반응의 특성에서 hemoglobin을 기질로 하여 Cathepsin D의 Vmax는 1.4×10^-7mole/hr이고 Km은 10.68mg/ml를 나타내었다. 4. 효소활성에 미치는 pH의 영향에서 최적 pH는 3.6에서 최고의 효소활성을 나타내었다. Cathepsin D(EC.3.4.23.5) was purified from retinal pigment epithelium of rabbit eyes. The purification procedure involved a crude extract, acid treatment, ammonium sulfate fractio-nation and DEAE-cellulose chromatography. The end product represented about a 43.5 fold purification and about a 20.95% recovery. The purified enzyme migrates as two bands during electrophoresis on SDS-polyacrylamide gel. The purified enzyme was characterized with respect to kinetic properties Km, Vmax value det-ermined with hemoglobin is 10.68 mg/ml, 1.4×10^-7mole/hr. Optimum pH was observed at pH 3.6. Molecular weight is 50,000 by SDS-PAGE, amino acid composition is revealed a high con-tent of glutamine, glutamate, and alanine.

Shear場下에서의 超音波 吸收에 關한 硏究

According to the swarm theory of the nematic liquid crystals, ware investigated the ultrasonic attenuation phenomena under the strong external condition such as the shear, thermal and electric field. The experimental results were shown to be distinguishable from the normal conditions. The periodical curve representing the attenuation in the shear field was appeared as the sine curve. It was considered that these phenomena were due to the long molecules orientation effect.

Moclobemide의 항우울 효과에 대한 평가

Eighteen patients took Moclobemide for 6 weeks, who had been diagnosed as major depression based on DSM-Ⅲ-R and had had more than 16 points on the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale. After medication of Moclobemide, they were evaluated by the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale and in terms of sleep, vigilance, performance, social interactions and drive. The results were as follows ; 1. The average dosage of Moclobemide was 400±89 ㎎. 2. Antidepressant effect were checked on the all items of the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale and prominent on the items of work and activities, insomnia, suicide, somatic symptoms. 3 There were obvious changes of the antidepressive effect by the evaluation of the doctors and patients at 4 weeks after the medication of Moclobemide. 4. In the patients, 61% had positive effects on the sleep. 94% no negative effects on the vigilance. Nobody has negative effects on the social interactions and drive. 5. Side effects or physical disturbances induced by Moclobemide were not found. According to these results, it seemed that Moclobemide had clear antidepressant effects, few negative effects on the life of day time, positive effects on the sleep and somatic symptoms.
