        With increasing competition in the global marketplace and the shift marketing activities from product-centered to consumer-centered, companies make efforts to collect information on overseas markets and global consumers prior to the initiation of new marketing activities. The concept of customer equity has been introduced as a tool to continously secure customers and create profits in the future. These trends also play an important role in the fashion industry since many fashion brands are growing into global companies, but need to adapt their innovative marketing strategies to different market environments, such as cultural settings. For this reason, more understanding of the individual consumers and the responses to marketing strategies is required. Furthermore, the trend cycle of SPA brands tends to be very short, so corporate profitability is highly sensitive to consumers’ attitudinal changes. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of cultural value in the global customer equity model focusing on SPA brands. For that, fashion SPA brands which are active globally will be selected and surveys will be distributed in several countries in order to compare and analyze the impact of cultural value on customer equity. The expected results of this study will contribute to the global market segmentation in terms of improved marketing efforts. Marketers will be able to understand which one of the three customer equity drivers – relationship, value, brand – is most important to the cultural setting. Furthermore, the findings will indicate which cultural value is most dominant in the respective country to direct marketing approaches towards these values. Through this improved knowledge over customers, companies can lower their marketing investments, analyze the individual profitability of customers to their company and communicate in more efficient ways to the customers. By gaining more knowledge about the consumer behavior in the respective country, SPA brands will be able to better understand product preferences and purchase patterns and therefore plan product style and life cycles in more efficient ways, which is crucial in such a fast continously changing marketplace. In this way, this study extends the research scope towards a cultural perspective on customer equity.

      • 고속가공용 엔드밀 형상설계 S/W 개발

        The tool geometry parameters and cutting process have complex relationships. Until now, various cutting test were needed to acquire optimal design of end mill for the purpose of high speed machining, due to the insufficient knowledge about cutting process in high speed machining. Using various tools with different geometry, relationships between tool geometry parameter (rake angle, clearance angle, length of cutter) and cutting process (cutting force, surface accuracy, surface roughness) have been studied. Acquired data can be used to design optimal tool for high speed machining and to develop a software for design of end mill geometry.

      • 전격도계방법이 육질에 미치는 영향

        Thic experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of electrical stunning on meat quality in broiler breast muscle. Broiler breast musclea slaughtered by current method and electrid stunning were employed for glycogen content, pH, shortening (%), morphological change and myoflbril fragmentation index (MFI) of myofibrils, water-holding capacity and penetration value. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Breast muscles from electridy rtunned birds showed higher glycogen contenta immediately after slaughtering and slower depletion of glycogen with postmortem time than control birds. 2. The pH of breast muscles from electrically stunned buds showed hgher pH immediately after slaughtffing and slower fall with postmortem time than that of control birds. 3. Breast muscles from electrically stunned birds showed appreciably lower shortening (%) than control birds under different storage temperature of 3, 8, 16, 27 and 37℃. 4. Myofibrils became increasingly fragmented during postmortem storage and breast mcscler from electrically stunned birds in myofibril fragmentation index showed Jigruficantly hlgher increase than control birds after 24hr postmortem. 5. The range of water-holding capacity were 58.7-64.7% and 57.9-62.5% for electrically stunned birds and control birds, respectively. Breast muscles showed the highest W.H.C. at 24hr postmortem. 6. The penetration values of breast muscles were 175.2 and 152.3 for electrically stunned birds and control budsrespectively. Therefore electrically stunned birds were more tender than control birds.

      • Lactobacillus casei YIT9018로부터 분리ㆍ정제한 Whole Peptidoglycan의 In Vitro 항종양활성

        In vitro antitumor activity of whole peptidoglycan(WPG) purified from Lactobacillus casei YIT9018 was examined by clonogenic assay. WPG had antitumor activity against five human tumor cell lines and three mouse tumor cell lines. Antitumor activity of WPG against human tumor cell lines such as A-427, SKMES-1, SF-188, FARROW and RAJI was observed at 300, 1,000, 600, 800 and 900㎍/ml concentration, respectively. Antitumor activity of WPG against mouse tumor cell lines such as 3LL, S-180 and P388 was observed at 100, 500 and 1,000㎍/ml concentration, respectively.

      • Lactobacillus casei YIT 9018로부터 분리·정제한 Cell Wall Skeleton의 In Vitro 항종양 활성

        In vitro antitumor activity of cell wall skeleton(CWS) purified from Lactobacillus casei YIT 9018 was examined by clonogenic assay. CWS had antitumor activity against six human tumor cell lines and three mouse tumor cell lines. Antitumor activity of CWS against human tumor cell lines such as A-427, SKMES-1, SF-188, FARROW, RAJI and HEP-2 was observed at 300,800,400,700,900 and 1,000μg/ml concentration, respectively. Antitumor activity of CWS against mouse tumor cell lines such as 3LL, S-180 and P388 was observed at 50,500 and 900μg/ml concentration, respectively.       • 지연유합과 불유합에서 저신호 강도 초음파의 유용성

        목 적 : 저 신호 강도 초음파를 이용한 지연유합과 불유합의 치료에 대한 유용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 2001년 7월부터 2002년 5월까지 본원에 내원한 지연유합 7례와 불유합 8례를 대상으로 5개월간 저 신호 강도 초음파로 치료하여 5개월후 골유합 여부를 알아 보았다. 결 과 : 총 15례 중 대퇴골 간부 2례, 경골 간부 1례, 상완골 간부 1례, 요골 1례의 지연유합에서 골유합을 얻었고 대퇴골 간부 불유합 3례에서 유합을 얻었다. 지연주합은 71%의 유합율을, 불유합은 37.5%의 유합율을 보였다. 결 론 : 저 신호 강도 초음파는 골유합을 촉진 시킬 수 있으며 지연유합에서 시도해 볼 만 하나 불유합 치료를 위해서는 보다 많은 연구가 필요 하다. Purpose : To evaluation of usefulness of low-intensity ultrasound for nonunion and delayed union. Materials and Methods : For 5 months, we treated 7 delayed union and 8 nonunion using low-intensity ultrasound. After 5 months, in checked X-ray AP and Lateral view, when cortical bridge formation was done, we through union. Results : In 7 delayed union, 5 cases-2 femur, tibia, humerus, radius were healed. In 8 nonunion, 3 femur nonunion were healed. Union rate was 71% in delayed union 37.5% in nonunion. Conclusion : we thought that the low-intensity ultrasound has capacity of induction of union and was considered as the method of treatment for delayed union.
