      • Mini-Array of Multiple Tumor-associated Antigens (TAAs) in the Immunodiagnosis of Esophageal Cancer

        Sera of cancer patients may contain antibodies that react with a unique group of autologous cellular antigens called tumor-associated antigens (TAAs). The present study aimed to determine whether a mini-array of multiple TAAs would enhance antibody detection and be a useful approach in esophageal cancer detection and diagnosis. Our mini-array of multiple TAAs consisted of eleven antigens, p53, pl6, Impl, CyclinB1, C-myc, RalA, p62, Survivin, Koc, CyclinD1 and CyclinE full-length recombinant proteins. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) were used to detect autoantibodies against eleven selected TAAs in 174 sera from patients with esophageal cancer, as well as 242 sera from normal individuals. In addition, positive results of ELISA were confirmed by Western blotting. In a parallel screening trial, with the successive addition of antigen to a final total of eleven TAAs, there was a stepwise increase in positive antibody reactions. The eleven TAAs were the best parallel combination, and the sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing esophageal cancer was 75.3% and 81.0%, respectively. The positive and negative predictive values were 74.0% and 82.0%, respectively, indicating that the parallel assay of eleven TAAs raised the diagnostic precision significantly. In addition, the levels of antibodies to seven antigens, comprising p53, Impl, C-myc, RalA, p62, Survivin, and CyclinD1, were significantly different in various stages of esophageal cancer, which showed that autoantibodies may be involved in the pathogenesis and progression of esophageal cancer. All in all, this study further supports our previous hypothesis that a combination of antibodies might acquire higher sensitivity for the diagnosis of certain types of cancer. A customized mini-array of multiple carefully-selected TAAs is able to enhance autoantibody detection in the immunodiagnosis of esophageal cancer and autoantibodies to TAAs might be reference indicators of clinical stage.

      • 퍼지를 이용한 연료전지 시스템의 온도제어

        고분자 전해질 연료전지의 열관리는 연료전지 작업 효율을 향상시키고 수명을 연장시키기는 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 스택 온도가 너무 낮으면 전기 화학 반응의 속도가 늦어지고 반응에 의해 생성되는 물의 증발을 방해 한다. 그러나, 너무 높으면 온도는 촉매 낭비, 열 손실, 폐기물 방출 등 연료 전지의 수명을 줄인다. 본 논문은 고분자 전해질 연료전지(PEMFC) 열 관리를 위한 연구이다. 우선, 연료전지의 열역학 이론에 기초하여, MATLAB / Simulink를 통해 연료전지의 동적 모델을 만들었다. 실험을 통해 수학적인 시뮬레이션 모델링을 검증했다. PEMFC 동적 모델에 기초하여, 본 연구는 퍼지 논리 전략을 통하여 열 관리 제어 시스템을 설계 하였다. 이상적인 온도(PEMFC 효율 최적의 온도 곡선)와 스택 실제 온도의 오차, 그 오차의 미분 항, 및 외부 간섭 조건 전류(PEMFC 현재 스택)로 퍼지 제어기의 입력으로 구성 되었으며, 제어기의 출력은 냉각 팬의 제어전압이다. 본 연구는 열 관리를 위한 처음으로 외부 간섭 조전, 즉, 스택 전류를 제어기에 도입하여 복잡한 한 퍼지 제어기를 만들었다. 3차원 퍼지 제어기는 간단한 퍼지 제어기를 통해 발생한 정적 오류를 줄일 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 제어 최적화 성능을 향상시켰다. 퍼지 논리 제어방법을 통해 연료전지 열 관리를 빠른 응답 시간과 작은 오차의 오버 슈트를 얻을 수 있다. 즉, 더 효율적으로 제어 성능을 향상시켰다.

        Relationship between the 13C chemical shifts of adsorbed mesityl oxide and acid strength of solid acid catalysts

        The carbon-containing molecule can be used as an NMR probe to explore the acidic and structural features of various catalytic materials. Thereinto, although mesityl oxide (MO) has been extensively employed to determine the acidity of solution and ionic liquid systems, could it be utilized to characterize the acidic properties of solid acid catalysts? In this work, on the basis of a series of isolated Brønsted and Lewis acid models with varied acid strengths, the adsorption configurations and corresponding 13C chemical shifts of adsorbed MO molecules have been comprehensively studied by means of a theoretical investigation approach. Among them, both the 13C chemical shift difference between β and α carbon atoms (Δδ), and the 13C chemical shift of β carbon atoms (δ13Cβ) in adsorbed MO molecules were explicitly demonstrated to be closely related to the intrinsic acid strength of Brønsted acid sites. These correlations could be utilized to quantitatively scale the Brønsted acid strength of solid acid catalysts. Besides, a moderate relationship was theoretically derived for the relevant 13C NMR parameters and intrinsic Lewis acid strength.

        핸드백 브랜드의 소재를 위한 로고 문양 디자인 특성 연구

        본 연구는 2000년대 이후 패션컬렉션에 나타난 로고요소를 활용한 핸드백 문양의 디자인 특성을 문양의 구성별, 표현 방식별로 분석하여 새로운 핸드백 문양 개발에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고 향후 로고요소를 활용한 핸드백 제품의 디자인방향을 예측하는데 필요한 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 11개 패션브랜드의 핸드백 사진 자료를 수집하여 구성 요소와 디자인 과정, 표현 방식의 3요인에 대해 조사하였다. 로고요소를 활용한 핸드백 문양의 구성 요소는 로고와 브랜드명, 이니셜, 상징물과 기타문양으로 구성되며 로고를 활용한 핸드백 문양의 디자인 과정은 브랜드 로고 구성의 차이에 따라 2단계로 진행된다. 핸드백 문양디자인의 1 단계는 기본 도형단위를 형성하여 대칭과 크기변화, 방향변화의 3가지 규율에 의해 형성되고, 핸드백 문양디자인 2단계는 핸드백 문양 전체를 반복과 교차, 중합하여 3가지 규율을 이용하고 있다. 그리고 표현 방식은 입체화와 형상화, 혼합법, 색상변화의 특성으로 구성되며 이러한 표현방식을 통하여 로고 요소를 이용한 핸드백 문양에 로고 요소와 다양한 감성 이미지를 연결 할 수 있다. 이와 같이 국내외 패션브랜드의 핸드백에 사용된 로고문양의 디자인들을 비교 분석하여, 국제 경쟁력 강화와 패션브랜드의 인지도를 높일 수 있는 차별화된 핸드백용 소재를 위한 로고문양 디자인 개발에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. The relevant study on handbag design with the usage of logo element is conducted through the comparison and analysis of picture materials of handbags. Meanwhile, the pattern design is analytical arranged in four respects of components, design process, design rules and expression way. Handbag decorations with the usage of logo elements are divided into two parts of beautify ornament and functional decoration. This paper aims at, through the comparative analysis and study of handbag patterns with the usage of logo elements, decorations, shape, hoping to be the fundamental references that are beneficial to the design of handbags with logo elements in the future, thus achieving11 the results of intensifying international competition of handbag products and increasing brand popularity.

        연구논문 : 방한 중국관광객의 패션상품의 구매기준과 점포속성지각이 쇼핑 만족도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the purchase behavior, the level of shopping satisfaction for inbound Chinese tourists buying fashion products and the analysis of the influence of fashion product purchase criteria and effects of store attributes toward shopping satisfaction in Korea. Subjects were selected through convenient sampling technique in Incheon International Airport. A self-administered questionnaire was developed in Chinese by translation and back-translation method. Finally, 284 questionnaire out of 420 were used for data analysis. To analyze data, factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, etc. were carried out. A used statistical package was PASW 18.0. The analysis results were as follows. First, most of the repondents were women in 20s and 30s, who were purchasing fashion products more than other during the period of travel. Second, the product purchase criteria were identified as ``practicality``, ``design and quality``, ``memorabilia`` and ``hallyu``. As the analysis results, shopping satisfaction was influenced by ``design and quality`` and ``hallyu``. Thirdly, the effects of store attributes were identified as ``product``, ``environment`` and ``employees``. and customer`s shopping satisfaction was influenced by all of those. By the end of this paper, For the purpose of achieving more competitive fashion products, the 4P marketing strategies targeting Chinese tourists were discussed based on the results.

        Identification of novel rheumatoid arthritis-associated MiRNA-204-5p from plasma exosomes

        Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by infiltration of immune cells in the synovium. However, the crosstalk of immune cells and synovial fibroblasts is still largely unknown. Here, global miRNA screening in plasma exosomes was carried out with a custom microarray (RA patients vs. healthy controls = 9:9). A total of 14 exosomal miRNAs were abnormally expressed in the RA patients. Then, downregulated expression of exosomal miR-204-5p was confirmed in both the replication (RA patients vs. healthy controls = 30:30) and validation groups (RA patients vs. healthy controls = 56:60). Similar to the findings obtained in humans, a decreased abundance of exosomal miR-204-5p was observed in mice with collagen-induced arthritis (CIA). Furthermore, Spearman correlation analysis indicated that plasma exosomal miR-204-5p expression was inversely correlated with disease parameters of RA patients, such as rheumatoid factor, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and C-reactive protein. In vitro, our data showed that human T lymphocytes released exosomes containing large amounts of miR-204-5p, which can be transferred into synovial fibroblasts, inhibiting cell proliferation. Overexpression of miR-204-5p in synovial fibroblasts suppressed synovial fibroblast activation by targeting genes related to cell proliferation and invasion. In vivo assays found that administration of lentiviruses expressing miR-204-5p markedly alleviated the disease progression of the mice with CIA. Collectively, this study identified a novel RA-associated plasma exosomal miRNA-204-5p that mediates the communication between immune cells and synovial fibroblasts and can be used as a potential biomarker for RA diagnosis and treatment.

        Distribution of pathological types and epidemiological characteristics based on kidney biopsy in Northwest China

        Background: The spectrum of biopsy-confirmed kidney disease varies with regions and periods. We describe the distribution ofpathological types and epidemiological characteristics of kidney diseases in Northwest China due to regional differences in geographicalenvironment, social economy, and dietary habits.Methods: Kidney biopsy cases from 2005 to 2020 in Xijing Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Pathological characteristics of patientsin different periods were analyzed using the t test or chi-square test. Joinpoint regression was used to analyze trends in pathologicaltypes and disease spectrum.Results: A total of 10,528 eligible patients were included. Primary glomerular disease (PGD) accounted for the majority of the casesand exhibited an obvious downward trend, whereas secondary glomerular disease (SGD) showed an obvious upward trend. AmongPGD, immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) remained the most common pathological type, and the detection rate of membranousnephropathy (MN) was significantly increased. Among SGD, Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis (HSPN) was the most commonpathological type and may present a significant characteristic of Northwest China. Diabetic nephropathy (DN) exhibited the most obviousupward trend in the whole process, whereas the fastest growth since 2012 was in hypertensive nephropathy.Conclusion: The proportion of SGD increased whereas PGD declined. IgAN remained the most common PGD, and HSPN was themost common SGD. MN and DN showed the most obvious upward trend among PGD and SGD, respectively. Changes in the spectrumof kidney disease, especially the constituent ratio of SGD, pose a great challenge to public health.
