The purpose if this study was to evaluate temperature change occurred in enamel, dentin and pulp due to the heat from cavity prepration with laser. We made three models had different cavity depth : cavity depth of model Awas 3.52mm, model B was 2.32mm, model C was 1.16mm. We irradiated cavity base with thermal capacity of 30J,100J,300J/㎤s during few seconds and studied the change of temperature in tooth during 10 seconds, and estimated change of thermal capacity by different irradiated site and exposure time. AT 300j/㎤s irradiation for 2 seconds, the temperature of irradiated surface was elevated fast according to irradiated thermal energy during I second, In proportion to continuous exposure time, temperature elevated slowly The surface temperature was 1370℃. After discontinue of thermal irradiation, the heat of irradiated surface was diffused in dentin and pulp and the greatest temperature was made, The greatest temperature was disappeared within 10 seconds The greatest temperature of the inner part of model brought about very severe change by different depth. Temperature in pulp was raised by the greater irradiated energy density and exposure time.
Concordance Analysis를 이용한 임도개설의 순위결정에 관한 연구

이 논문은 Scoring법의 Concordance Analysis를 이용하여 전국 11개 지역을 대상으로 임도노선의 개설순위를 결정하였다. 그 결과 우위성 지수(Concordance Index)에 의한 임도개설 우선순위는 대상지역 9 > 5 > 11 > 10 > 6 > 1 > 3 = 4 > 2 > 7 > 8으로 나타났으며, 열세성지수(Dis-concordance Index)에 의한 임도개설 우선순위는 대상지역 9 > 3 > 4 > 5 > 10 > 8 > 1 > 11 > 6 > 7 > 2로 나타났다. By the means of concordance analysis among scoring methods, this study was to determine the priority order of forest road construction in 11 areas. The results have shown that the Priority order by concordance index was ranked by area 9, 5, 11, 10, 6, 1, 3=4, 2, 7 and 8, and that by dis-concordance index by area 9, 3, 4, 5, 10, 8, 1, 11, 6, 7 and 2.

Lupus erythematous panniculitis is a chronic inflammatory disease of subcutaneous fat that occurs in 2-3% of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Lupus erythematous panniculitis typically presents with firm, indurated subcutaneous nodules or plaques commonly developed in proximal extremities, trunks, head and neck. Face, breast and upper extremities involvement with lupus erythematous panniculitis has been infrequently reported. We report a case of lupus erythematous panniculitis developed in a 27-year-old female confirmed by histologic features and laboratory findings.

Purpose: To validate a novel arteriogenic erectile dysfunction (ED) model with atherosclerosis (AS) based on molecular and histologic evidence induced by chronic pelvic ischemia (CPI) and determine effect of phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor treatment. Materials and Methods: Twenty 16-week-old male Sprague–Dawley rats were divided into three experimental groups (Group I, untreated sham-operated rats with regular diet; Group II, CPI with cholesterol diet; Group III, CPI model with cholesterol diet and mirodenafil). Erectile function was accessed using maximum intracavernous pressure (ICP) and ICP/mean arterial pressure (MAP). Molecular changes were examined by western blot analysis using hypoxia inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α), endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), and transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-β1) antibodies. Collagen change was evaluated by Masson’s trichrome staining. Results: In vivo measurements of ICP and ICP/MAP in Group II were significantly lower than those in Group I (p<0.01). Smooth muscle/collagen ratio in Group II was significantly lower than that in Group I (p<0.05). After treatment with mirodenafil for four weeks, Group III showed significantly higher levels of ICP and ICP/MAP than Group II (p<0.05). Western blot analysis showed that HIF-1α and TGF-β1 levels were significantly higher in Group II whereas eNOS levels were significantly lower in Group II than those in Group I or III. Conclusions: A novel arteriogenic ED with AS model is successfully induced by CPI and validated based on molecular and histologic evidences.

<P>Staurosporine, a non-specific protein kinase inhibitor, has been shown to induce neurite outgrowth in PC12 cells, but the mechanism by which staurosporine induces neurite outgrowth is still obscure. In the present study, we investigated whether the activation of Rac1 was responsible for the neurite outgrowth triggered by staurosporine. Staurosporine caused rapid neurite outgrowth independent of the ERK signaling pathways. In contrast, neurite outgrowth in response to staurosporine was accompanied by activation of Rac1, and the Rac1 inhibitor NSC23766 attenuated the staurosporine-induced neurite outgrowth in a concentration-dependent manner. In addition, suppression of Rac1 activity by expression of the dominant negative mutant Rac1N17 also blocked the staurosporine-induced morphological differentiation of PC12 cells. Staurosporine caused an activation of NADPH oxidase and increased the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which was prevented by NSC23766 and diphenyleneiodonium (DPI), an NADPH oxidase inhibitor. Staurosporine-induced neurite outgrowth was attenuated by pretreatment with DPI and exogenous addition of sublethal concentration of H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> accelerated neurite outgrowth triggered by staurosporine. These results indicate that activation of Rac1, which leads to ROS generation, is required for neurite outgrowth induced by staurosporine in PC12 cells.</P>
경막외마취시 저혈압 발생에 대한 Ephedrine 정주의 예방효과

Background: There has been no consensus on the best way to prevent hypotension during epidural anesthesia. We undertook the present study to evaluate the effect of ephedrine infusion along with fluid preloading in prevention of hypotension. Methods : Eighty patients undergoing total abdominal hysterectomy were divided into 4 groups. The Group 1 and 2 were preloaded with 1000 ml lactated Ringer's solution(LR), Group 3 with 200 ml LR, and Group 4 with 500 ml of colloid(10% pentastarch) solution. In the group 1, normal saline was infused at 12 ml/min after bupivacaine injection into epidural space. In the Group 2, 3, and 4, ephedrine(mixed in normal saline) was infused after beginning of anesthesia at 1 mg/min. Results : Systolic arterial pressure after epidural blockade was significantly lower in preloading of only LR(Group 1) than those with ephedrine infusion groups(Group 2, 3, and 4). In all groups the heart rate was not changed significantly during the course of the study. The central venous pressure increased after fluid preloading in all groups, but the magnitude of increase was relatively small in Group 3. Hypotension occurred in 45% of the patients who received only LR(Group 1) vs 10% of those who received pentastarch(Group 4)(p<0.05). The incidence of hypotension(20%) was same in Group 2 and 3. Conclusions : Infusion of ephedrine could be an alternative method to prevent hypotension during epidural anesthesia. Similar incidence of hypotension in Groups 2 and 3 challenges our perception of the value of crystalloid preload. (Korean J Anesthesiol 1998; 34: 614∼622)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between leisure sports activity participation and job satisfaction and life satisfaction of teachers. The subjects of this study were teachers serving in middle and high school of Kyung-gi Province in 2008. Using systematic stratified cluster random sampling, 621 teachers were asked to respond the survey To analyze the data collected with questionnaire, SPSS 140.0 program was used for Chi-square test, three-way ANOVA, correlation The results from this study are as follow: First, teacher` socio-demographic attributes(teaching career) influenced the types of leisure activities, but teachers` socio-demographic attributes(marriage) didn`t influence the types of leisure activities. Second, marriage, teaching career and the types of leisure activities influenced partially job satisfaction and life satisfaction. That is to say, marriage, teaching career and the types of leisure activities didn`t influence correlation satisfaction, social position satisfaction, acceptance-contentment and achievement-fulfillment, but influenced teaching profession satisfaction and administrative support satisfaction. Namely, interaction effect of marriage and teaching career influenced teaching profession satisfaction and administrative support satisfaction. Teachers` participation in leisure sports activity influenced administrative support satisfaction. Third, teaching satisfaction influenced the life satisfaction. The result show that high teaching satisfaction will contribute the positive effect on life satisfaction.
