Nuclear receptors (NRs), which belong to a superfamily of ligand-dependent transcription factors, play essential roles in gene regulation to affect numerous physiological pathways. Twenty NR genes were identified in Nilaparvata lugens by using genomic, transcriptomic and GenBank databases, and categorized into NR0-NR6 subfamilies according to standard nomenclature. Among them, three NR geneswere classed into NR0, four into NR1, eight into NR2, one into NR3, one into NR4, two into NR5, and one into NR6, respectively. A phylogenetic tree of NRs from N. lugens and other representative species was constructed, which provided evolutionary insight into genetic distance. In order to investigate the NRs,whichwere induced by sulfoxaflor, time- and tissue-specific expression profiles of NR genes in fourth-instar nymphs were determined following LD50 sulfoxaflor treatment (0.28 ng/insect) and compared with control samples. NlUSP, NlE78, NlTLL, NlHR51, NlHR83, NlPNR and NlFTZ-F1 were highly expressed following 12–48 h of sulfoxaflor treatment. NlHR39 and NlDSF transcripts were detected in the head and the thorax, respectively. High-level and constitutive expression of NlHR3, NlTLL, NlHR83, NlFTZF1 and NlHR4 were found in the abdomen. Feeding of dsRNAs reduced the expression of NlHR3, NlUSP, NlTLL, NlHR83, NlPNR, NlFTZ-F1 and NlHR4 (35.48–49.77%) and caused significant nymph mortality (69.21–81.45%). These NRs, considered as insecticide targets, may play important function in sulfoxaflor detoxification.

<P>The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that cancer is one of the most prevalent diseases and a leading cause of death worldwide. Many anticancer drug development studies have been pursued over the last few decades and several viable drugs have been discovered, such as paclitaxel, topotecan and irinotecan. Previously, our research group uncovered the cytocidal and cytostatic effects of the plant <I>Stephania delavayi</I> Diels. In this study, we determined the active chemical to be 6,7-di-O-acetylsinococuline (FK-3000). The FK-3000 half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) in MDA-MB-231 breast carcinoma cells at 48 h was 0.52 μg/ml and it induced apoptosis in a dose- and time-dependent manner. FK-3000 suppressed NF-κB nuclear translocation, decreased NF-κB phosphorylation, and decreased COX-2 protein expression. MDA-MB-231 xenografted mice were treated with FK-3000, Taxol, or their combination for 21 days. The tumor size was smallest in the co-treatment group, indicating that FK-3000 may have a synergistic effect with Taxol. FK-3000 treatment showed no adverse effects on blood cell counts, serum protein levels, or pathology. These studies demonstrate that FK-3000, isolated from <I>S. delavayi</I> Diels., is a promising, pathway-specific anticancer agent that exhibits low toxicity.</P>

Objective: To explore the clinical effects of nimotuzumab combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of late gastric cancer. Methods: A total of 34 reoccurrence or metastatic patients with late stage gastric cancer who were confirmed by histopathology and/or cytology were selected and randomly divided into observational and control groups, of 17 cases each. Patients in the control group were treated with the standard DCF plan, while patients in observational group additionally received nimotuzumab. The short-term and long-term efficacy and adverse reactions in the 2 groups were followed. Results: The objective response rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) were 64.7% (11/17) and 82.4% (14/17) in observational group and 25.0%(4/16) and 37.5%(6/16) in the control group(ORR and DCR between 2 groups, ${\chi}^2=5.2412$, P=0.0221 and ${\chi}^2=6.9453$, P=0.0084). The median progression-free survival (PFS) time and median overall survival (OS) time were 6.50 months and 12.50 months in observational group and 4.50 months and 8.25 months in the control group (P=0.0212; P=0.0255). The main toxic and side effects in the 2 groups were reduced leukocytes and hemoglobin, gastrointestinal reactions and hair loss and these were relieved after symptomatic treatment and nutrition support therapy. There were no differences in the occurrence of toxic and side effects between the 2 groups. Conclusions: Nimotuzumab combined with DCF plan is effective in treating late stage gastric cancer. A larger scale study is now warranted for confirmation of the findings.

In this paper, a novel robust nonlinear tracking control scheme is proposed for the yaw channel of an unmanned-aerial-vehicle helicopter that is non-affine in the control input. By a novel dynamic modeling technique, the non-affine nonlinear systems are approximated to facilitate the desired control design. In the controller design procedure, the terminal sliding model control method is intro-duced to deal with the unknown uncertainties/disturbances. Moreover, filter and disturbance estimator are combined to further reduce the chattering. A systematic procedure is developed and related theo-retical and practical issues are discussed. The proposed nonlinear tracking control scheme can guaran-tee the asymptotic output tracking of the closed-loop control systems in spite of unknown uncertain-ties/disturbances. Finally, the simulation results on the dynamic model of a real helicopter-on-arm are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed new control techniques.
Minimization of Surface Roughness and Machining Deformation in Milling of Al Alloy Thin-Walled Parts
De-Jun Cheng,Feng Xu,Sheng-Hao Xu,Chun-Yan Zhang,Sheng-Wen Zhang,Su-Jin Kim 한국정밀공학회 2020 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.21 No.9
This study focused on investigating the surface roughness in the feed direction (R a -Fd), surface roughness in the transversedirection (R a -Td), and thin-walled parts deformation (TWD) during milling of Al alloy 5083. The response surface method(RSM) was used to conduct experiments and establish the models of R a -Fd , R a -Td , and TWD under various cutting parameters. The significance of cutting parameters on R a -Fd , R a -Td , and TWD was analyzed by analysis of variance. It was observedthat the R a -Fd and R a -Td are mainly influenced by the spindle speed, depth of cut, transverse size and feed rate, while the TWD is mainly influenced by the depth of cut. A comparison of RSM-optimum function and artificial bee colony (ABC)algorithm optimum programming was conducted to obtain the best cutting conditions leading to minimum R a -Fd, R a -Td and TWD simultaneously. From the presented results, ABC algorithm was able to obtain the better cutting strategy. Finally, theperformance of the proposed cutting strategy was verified by confirmation experiments.
