Trends in Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) Research through Co-word Analysis

This study aims to explore the knowledge structure of the leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) research during the period of 1952-2017. Data was collected from Google Scholar and Research Information Service System (RISS), and a total of 482 author keywords from 125 papers from peer-reviewed scholarly journals were retrieved. Co-word analysis was applied to examine patterns and trends in the leopard cat research by measuring the association strengths of the author keywords along with the descriptive analysis of the keywords. The result shows that the most commonly used keywords in leopard cat research were Felidae, Iriomte cat, and camera trap except for its English and scientific name, and camera traps became a frequent keyword since 2005. Co-word analysis also reveals that leopard cat research has been actively conducted in Southeast Asia in conjugation with studying other carnivores using the camera traps. Through the understanding of the patterns and trends, the finding of this study could provide an opportunity for the exploration of neglected areas in the leopard cat research and conservation.

<P>Pathogen-activated antibody-secreting cells (ASCs) produce and secrete antigen-specific antibodies. ASCs are detectable in the peripheral blood as early as 3 days after antigen exposure, which makes ASCs a potential biomarker for early disease detection. Here, we present a magnetic capture and detection (MCD) assay for sensitive, on-site detection of ASCs. In this approach, ASCs are enriched through magnetic capture, and secreted antibodies are magnetically detected by a miniaturized nuclear magnetic resonance (μNMR) system. This approach is based entirely on magnetics, which supports high contrast against biological background and simplifies assay procedures. We advanced the MCD system by (i) synthesizing magnetic nanoparticles with high magnetic moments for both cell capture and antibody detection, (ii) developing a miniaturized magnetic device for high-yield cell capture, and (iii) optimizing the μNMR assay for antibody detection. Antibody responses targeting hemolysin E (HlyE) can accurately identify individuals with acute enteric fever. As a proof-of-concept, we applied MCD to detect antibodies produced by HlyE-specific hybridoma cells. The MCD achieved high sensitivity in detecting antibodies secreted from as few as 5 hybridoma cells (50 cells/mL). Vac8p is a vacuolar protein that plays pivotal roles in both vacuole inheritance and the formation of nucleus vacuole junction (NVJ) in yeast. The Vac8p directly interacts with Atg13p, a component of the autophagy machinery, and mediates cytoplasm-to-vacuole targeting (Cvt) pathway, resulting in the maturation of aminopeptidase I (Ape1p). Here, we coexpressed and purified Saccharomyces cerevisiae Vac8p complexed with Atg13p in Escherichia coli bacteria cells, and crystallized the complex proteins under the condition of 25% (v/v) PEG 400, 100 mM Tris pH 8.5, 2% (v/v) Ethylene glycol, 2% (w/v) PEG 3350, 1.5% (w/v) PEG 20000, 5 mM DTT at 293K. X-ray diffraction data of the crystals were collected to 2.9 Å resolution at the synchrotron radiation. The crystals belong to the orthorhombic space group P2 1 2 1 2 1 with unit cell parameters a = 62.7 Å, b = 92.4 Å, and c = 139.9 Å. The asymmetric unit contains one Vac8p-Atg13p heterodimer with a corresponding V M of 2.92 Å 3 Da -1 and solvent content of 57.8%.

This paper presents a comparative study of the AC and MFDC resistance spot welding process with consideration of sheet thickness. The previous studies have confirmed that there is difference in the optimum welding current and expulsion current with AC and MFDC. The aim of this study was revealing the effect of sheet thickness on weldable current range and expulsion behavior for AC and MFDC welding processes. The optimum welding current of AC was lower (1.6 ㎄) than MFDC welding process in 0.8 mm sheet thickness. Early nugget growth being caused by the peak current of AC developed weld interface deformation, which resulted in suppressing the growth of corona bond and occurrence of low current expulsion. The resistance spot welding for thicker sheet (1.4 ㎜) required lower current of 0.6 ㎄ for the expulsion on the MFDC welding process. The growth of contact diameter (size of corona bond) and button diameter was linear up to the expulsion current with MFDC welding process. Therefore, more attention is required when the AC and MFDC resistance spot welding process is applied for different thickness of steel sheet combination for automotive application.

과거 일 평균 10종 내외로 발견되었던 악성코드가 최근 10년 동안 급격히 증가하여 오늘날에는 55,000종 이상의 악성코드가 발견되고 있다. 하지만 발견되는 다수의 악성코드는 새로운 형태의 신종 악성코드가 아니라 과거 악성코드에서 일부 기능이 추가되거나 백신탐지를 피하기 위해 인위적으로 조작된 변종 악성코드가 다수이다. 따라서 신종과 변종이 포함된 다수의 악성코드를 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 과거의 악성코드와 유사도를 비교하여 신종과 변종을 분류하는 과정이 필요하게 되었다. 기존의 악성코드를 대상으로 한 유사도 산출 기법은 악성코드가 사용하는 IP, URL, API, 문자열 등의 외형적 특징을 비교하거나 악성코드의 코드단계를 서로 비교하는 방식이 사용되었다. 하지만 악성코드의 유입량이 증가하고 비교대상이 많아지면서 유사도를 확인하기 위해 많은 계산이 필요하게 되자 계산량을 줄이기 위해 최근에는 퍼지해시가 사용되고 있다. 하지만 퍼지해시에 제한사항들이 제시되면서 기존의 퍼지해시를 이용한 유사도 비교방식의 문제점이 제시되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 퍼지해시를 이용하여 유사도 성능을 높일 수 있는 새로운 악성코드간 유사도 비교기법을 제안하고 이를 활용한 악성코드 분류기법을 제시하고자 한다. In the past about 10 different kinds of malicious code were found in one day on the average. However, the number of malicious codes that are found has rapidly increased reachingover 55,000 during the last 10 year. A large number of malicious codes, however, are not new kinds of malicious codes but most of them are new variants of the existing malicious codes as same functions are newly added into the existing malicious codes, or the existing malicious codes are modified to evade anti-virus detection. To deal with a lot of malicious codes including new malicious codes and variants of the existing malicious codes, we need to compare the malicious codes in the past and the similarity and classify the new malicious codes and the variants of the existing malicious codes. A former calculation method of the similarity on the existing malicious codes compare external factors of IPs, URLs, API, Strings, etc or source code levels. The former calculation method of the similarity takes time due to the number of malicious codes and comparable factors on the increase, and it leads to employing fuzzy hashing to reduce the amount of calculation. The existing fuzzy hashing, however, has some limitations, and it causes come problems to the former calculation of the similarity. Therefore, this research paper has suggested a new comparison method for malicious codes to improve performance of the calculation of the similarity using fuzzy hashing and also a classification method employing the new comparison method.

Energy Scavenging 기술을 이용한 자가전원 무선 센서용 전원분리 스위치로 초저누설, 초저전력 MEMS/MOSFET Hybrid 스위치를 제안한다. MEMS/MOSFET Hybrid 스위치는 컨트롤 신호 외에는 동작을 위한 전원이 필요 없으면서, 기계적으로 전원을 분리시켜 주는 MEMS 스위치의 장점과 다양한 크기의 전류를 제어할 수 있는 MOSFET 스위치의 장점을 모두 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 MEMS/MOSFET Hybrid 스위치를 사용하여 solar cell을 이용한 자가 전원 무선 온도 센서를 제작하고, 그 성능을 확인하기 위해 동일한 동작을 하는 MIT의 회로와 데이터 송신 비교 실험을 하였다. 그 결과, 일반 사무실 실내 조명(300 lux)에서 7.542초 마다 20m 거리까지 데이터를 보낼 수 있었고 이는 MIT 회로 보다 송신 주기가 37% 향상됨을 확인하였다.

In the development of convertible vehicles, a foldable roof system is one of the essential components and the four-bar linkage have been exploited as a standard mechanism for the retractable roof system. In case that the roof system adopts several degrees of freedom to retract the partial roofs, the space for the actuator installation should be considered since the accessible space for the actuators is usually not enough. Thus, in that case, the connecting mechanism that can transmit the actuating motion from the motion of an actuated four-bar mechanism to the following four-bar mechanism is often selected as alternative design consideration. In this study, we suggested a design methodology for the connecting mechanism and analyzed the motion of the connecting mechanism.
