        Plato and Aristotle, two greatest Greek philosophers established the grand academic system by concentrating all the knowledge of those days. And their philosophical position along with the metaphysics broke fresh ground in the history of philosophy of the human race. I author of this dissertation have found that my comparative study of the philosophical system and standpoint of these two philosophers by reference to various kinds of books reveals that they had much in common with each other because the one was a pupil of the other but there was also a marked difference of outlook of natural philosophy, morality state and methodology of studies including idealism between them. Therefore the influence of their respective thought on the future generation has teen thought to be distinct from each other. Plato as master of idealistic philosophy became a spiritual founder of speculative philosophy and had much impact on the idealism of the future generation. On the contrary, Aristotle, taking his ground on empiricism, was critical of his teacher platonic philosophy and particularly made an effort to transform the dualism in platonic metaphysics into monism. And also he reckoned that happiness supreme goal of human beings had a significant meaning as the norm and standard of practical morality and that state as supreme community aimed to realize the highest good by taking moderatism in practical philosophy. Although a great many philosophers make a beginning of philosophy and science by accomplishing ancient mental civilization in Greek ages. The three greatest philosophers from Socrates to Plato and Aristotle form a epock of the development of thought of the human race by the impact of their thought on all the thought from medieval era to present era.

      • 敎育의 本質과 機能에 관한 小考

        There are many opinions about the essential function of education, as the human valuation is greatly changed among the high scientific techniques and the materialism of current twenty century. In the many developing countries, especially in Korea, the rapid economic growth and the change of social organization cause to increase suddenly the educational demads in the national point of view, and, moreover, cause the over-parental enthusiasm of education. It is undeniable fact that these arouse the considerable confusions in the midst of reverse of cause and effect. Besides, the education of the past time concentrated on the human nature and the value system·the truth, the goodness and the beauty, etc. ; on the other hand, because the educational. phenomena of the present are degraded as the means of real satisfaction of desires and people are engrossed in the gatherings of techniques in the midst of sudden flood of knowledge, the development of human nature and the social, moral education, which are the bases of education, are insufficient and the education itself causes the phenomena of human estrangement. I regard this tendency as the educational crisis and examine in detail the various educational standpoints from the. educational philosophical point of view from the past through the present. As a result of extraction of main functions that we can not neglect on the current situation, I sum up the upbringing of democratic citizens through the development of human nature, the preservation and continuance of traditions, the training of human quality for the cultural inheritance and preservation. As our society itself has the universality transcending the time and space, and the particularity of the society itself, so the social education, I insist, has the common tasks to accomplish beyond dispute of the pact and the present, the orient and the west, and has the individual purposes and methods to achieve on the foundation of the particular historical, social backgrounds of the nation or the society itself. Hence I consider that education has the totality of universality and particularity, and has the history and the connection which can't detach the past, the present from the future. Therefore, we should examine the philosophical angles of many philosophers presented in the philosophical paint of view from the educational policy to the practical spot of education in a nation. Then we can achieve the development of perfect person in the educational spot and we can play a sufficient role in the educational operation to lead to the national development in the educational policy of a nation harmonizing the complication and opposition of the tradition and renovation.

      • 생물학적 소양의 함양을 위한 BSCS 통합 권고안과 6, 7차 교육과정 비교

        본 연구에서는 BSCS 위원회가 생물학적 소양의 함양을 위하여 제시한 중등 생물 교육과정 개발 지침과 우리 나라 제6차, 제7차 교육과정을 개념 제시 형태, 하위 개념들의 내용 일치도, 개념 수의 측면에서 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과 우리 나라 교육과정의 내용 체계에서의 상의 수준으로서의 지식 영역과 하위수준으로서의 내용 요소 부분에 제시되어 있는 개념들이 포괄성의 차이 없이 단순히 개념 나열적으로 제시되어 있는 상태라서 개념 수준간 등급화가 충분하지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 우리 나라 생물 교육과정에는 생태계, 유전과 생식, 물질대사 부분에 너무 많은 개념들이 들어 있는 것으로 나타났는데 이로부터 BSCS가 학문중심 교육 과정기에 제시했던 많은 개념들에 대해서 현 시대 흐름에 비추어 학생들의 생물학적 소양의 함양을 위해 재조정하도록 권고하면서 제시한 6개의 통합 원리들을 편중되지 않게 고르게 포하하기 위해서는 우리 나라에서도 생물교육과정에 대한 재구성 노력이 필요한 것을 알 수 있었다. 한편 생물 Ⅰ보다 생물 Ⅱ에 생물학적 소양의 함양을 위한 필수 개념들이 더 많이 제시되어 있는 것으로 분석되었는데 이는 우리 나라 제7차 교육과정의 과학 10에서 과학적 소양이, 그리고 생물 Ⅰ에서 생물학에 대한 기초 소양이 강조되고 있고, 생물 Ⅱ에서는 생물학 관련 전공 과목 이수 준비를 강조하고 있는 과목별 성격과 목표에 부합되지 않는 것이며 따라서 우리나라 교육과정에서도 각 과목별 특성을 분명히 제시 및 반영하려는 노력이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 이상과 같은 연구 결과로부터 현재 우리 나라 과학 및 생물 교육의 중요한 목적의 하나로 설정되어 있는 학생들의 생물학적 소양의 함양을 위해서 제7차 교육과정에 의한 생물 교과서의 교수 자료 개발 및 장차 제8차 교육과정 개발에 사용할 수 있는 실제적인 지침을 마련하기 위한 구체적인 논의가 있어야 함을 시사받았다. In this study, the concept presentation form, the content coherence of sub-dimensional concepts and the number of concepts of the 6th and the 7th Korean curriculum were analyzed comparing the guide to developing the secondary biology curricula to develop biological literacy with BSCS. According to the result, the discrimination between concept levels in the frame of contents of the Korean curricula is insufficient, because each of concepts presented in the knowledge domain as upper level and sub-dimensional concept elements as lower level are simply arrayed. Considering too much concepts of ecosystem, genetics, reproduction and metabolism, there should be an effort to reform the biological curriculum to include concepts evenly, not in the biased state, to reflect all the 6 unifying principles by BSCS for developing students' biological literacy. Finally there should be an effort to reflect the characteristics of each subjects concretely among Science 10, Biology Ⅰ and Biology Ⅱ in the 7th curriculum considering the result that essential concepts to develop biological literacy are presented more in some principles of Biology Ⅱ than Biology Ⅰ. Thinking the results of the present study, concrete discussions should be made to set up the standard reference about biological literacy and to present essential concepts for teaching and learning to develop it in the process of biology textbook development for meeting the 7th Korean curriculum and in the development of 8th Korean curriculum in advance.

        정신분열병 환자의 임상반응에 따른 혈장 Homovanillic Acid와 혈장 할로페리돌의 변화

        Nineschizophrenic inpatients were studied under halopendol treatment for the purpose of evaluating the possible correlation between plasma HVA, leuels(P-HVA) plasma halopendol levels (P-haloperidal) and clinical symptom changes. The authors measured plasma HVA and plasma haloperidol levels, and checked BPRS and SAPS scores at baseline, 7th day. 28th day and 56th day of treatment. 1) P-HVA concentrations of total patients were highest on 7th day, then returned to baseline levels on 28th day. but that of drug responder group(6 patients) were highest on pretreatment then decreased below baseline levels on 7th day and continued to decrease till 56th day of treatment. 2) P-HVA concentrations of total patients showed positive correlations with BPRS scores (r=0.28, p<0.l) and-with SAPS scores(r=0.36, p<0.05) and that of drug responder group showed also positive correlations with BPRS scores(r=0.24, p=NS) and with SAPS scores (r=0.45. p<0.0l). 3) P-haloperidol concentrations of total patients showed significant positive correlation with haloperidol doses(r=0.73, p<0.00l) and that of drug responder group showed positive correlation with haloperidol doses(r=0.53. P<0.01). P-haloperidol concentration of drug responder group showed significant negative correlation with BPRS scores(-0.72, P<0.01) and with SAPS scores(-0.59. P<0.001) but that of total patients did not. 4) The haloperidol doses of drug responder group showed meaningful negative correlations with P-HVA(r=-0.38. p=0.03) and with BPRS scores (r=-0.50. P<0.01) and with SAPS scores(r=-0.47. p=0.0l) but that of total patients did not. The authors discussed the meaning of above results.

      • 도심 지역 전파 전달 특성 해석

        Characteristics of microwave reflections and diffractions in an urban crossroad is presented in this thesis utilizing geometrical optics(GO), Uniform geometrical theory of diffraction(UTD) and ray tracing technique. At first, three-dimensional multiple paths between a transmitter and a receiver at various line-of-sight(LOS) or out-of-sight(OOS) positions in the crossroad were traced using the image method. The multiple paths include direct incidence, specular wall and ground reflections and corner diffractions. Then, signal path losses to the receiver at various positions in the crossroad were computed using GO, UTD and total path lengths and reflection angles. The appropriate number of reflection for numerical convergence was computed and the effects of polarization, frequency and dielectric constant of the wall and ground on the pathloss to LOS and OOS positions are also studied. The accuracy of this method is verified by the experimental measurement in a constructed cross road. It was also applied in more complicated road structures.

        As functions of composition and melting conditions, we investigated the flow property of a glass frit for thick film pastes. In the case of PbO-B_2O_3-SiO_2 system, the PbO played an important role in the initial stage of flow at the glass melting, while B_2O_3 did in the 2nd stage of flow. And, in case of PbO-B_2O_3-SiO_2-ZnO system, ZnO played more important role of flow property than B_2O_3, but crystallization occurred at the melt of ZnO contained glass systems.

      • SnO_2 박막저항의 전기적 특성에 미치는 첨가제의 영향

        Sb and Sb-Fe doped SnO_2 film resistors were prepared by spray pyrolysis technique. The effects of Sb and Sb-Fe addition on TCR and electrical properties of SnO_2 film resistors were studied. Also the dependence of electrical properties on the substrate temperature and substrate-nozzle distance was investigated. The Sn-Sb system with 7.9 mol% SbCl_3 (STO-406) and Sn-Sb-Fe systems with 7.3 mol% SbCl_3 + 7.3 mol% FeCl_3(STO-407) and with 3.4mol% SbCl_3 + 7.7 mol% FeCl_3 (STO-408) were prepared. Both of the systems, Sn-Sb and Sn-Sb and Sn-Sb-Fe, represented nonlinearity of TCR with temperature. As the amount of Fe increased. TCR was shifted to positive direction. Decreasing Sb or increasing Fe caused resistivity to increase. Also increasing Fe caused the crystallization degree of rutile structure in SnO_2 film to decrease. The electrical resistivity decreased with increasing substrate temperature. The resistivity decreased with increasing substrate-nozzle distance in the ranges from 15 to 25 cm and increased rapidly at the distance over 25 cm.

      • 明·淸時代 儒敎思想과 프랑스 啓蒙主義思想의 機能的 關係

        Chinese Confucian thought shared in the development of Western egalitarian thought and political democratic thought during the 17th and 18th centuries. The resulting penetration of Confucian thought into western society naturally had a considerable effect on the formation of modern western thought as a whole. In fact, China was one Asian country that undoubtedly stimulated the greatest in 18th Century France, and exerted the strongest influence on French philosophers. The principal aim of this paper is to research how the thought of the Enlightenment arose in the French and to examine its relationship to Confucian thought during the course of its development. This is because there exist many points in common between the libertarian and humanistic setting in which democracy grew and Chinese philosophical tradition of the "highest good". Moreover, one can discover the value of human-heartedness, democratic thought and the spirit of equality espoused by the proponents of the French Enlightenment within the age-old thought of Confucianism itself. Accordingly, this thesis will examine the philosophical implications of Confucian thought by the thinkers of the French Enlightenment as well as the process of its literary, philosophical and social development.

      • 섬유상 담체 종류에 따른 생물학적 오수처리 비교연구

        This study was performed to investigate the treatability of sewage from department store by attached growth biological treatment method using several fibrous media such as Supermodule made of polyvinylidine chloride and acry fiber(FBC), ringlace made of polyvinylidine chloride(HBC) and polypropylene(PP). The pilot plant was set up in the field of K department store and four consecutive aerated reactors were packed with each media and maintained in the condition of hydraulic retention time 12 hours. Experimental results showed that the effluent BOD concentration was stable even though the influent concentration was largely fluctuated in the range of 300~900㎎/L. BOD removal efficiencies in HBC, PP and FBC systems were 90%, 87% and 94%, respectively. The influent BOD was mainly removed in the first, second and third reactors and the removal rate in the fourth reactor was the lowest due to the low concentration and low influent load. The concentration of biomass attached to fibrous media was the highest in the FBC system compared with HBC and PP systems. Total concentration of volatile solids in the FBC system was 5,900 ㎎/L which was high compared with the other media systems. The production ratios of waste sludge were 9.2, 8.45 and 7.3 gDS/㎥ of influent sewage in HBC, PP and FBC systems, respectively.
