In this study, we developed a rapid, sensitive and specific reverse-transcriptase loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) assay for detection of swine influenza viruse (SIV) including major subtypes of swine influenza viruses H1N1, H1N2 and H3N2, and a novel subtype of influenza A virus that accidentally infected in pig population. The RT-LAMP was completed in 40 min at 58oC and the sensitivity of the RT-LAMP (1 copy/ L) was 10-fold higher than conventional reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) (10 copy/ L) and the same to real time RT-PCR (1 copy/ L). Also, the result of the RT-LAMP can be confirmed without any detection system. Therefore, the RT-LAMP could be a alternative diagnostic method for SIV detection in national SIV monitoring system and clinical diagnostic laboratory in the future.

In this study, we developed a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) with hydroxynaphtol blue dye (HNB) for rapid and direct visual detection of porcine circovirus 2 DNA with high sensitivity and specificity. The LAMP was completed in 40 min at 63oC, and the results of the LAMP can be confirmed by naked eye without any detection process. The sensitivity of the LAMP was 10-fold higher than that of the commercial PCR (cPCR) and real time PCR (rPCR) previously reported. In clinical application, the PCV2 detection rate of the LAMP was the same on porcine tissue samples (75.0%, 36/48) between porcine blood samples (75.0%, 39/52). The PCV2 detection rate (75.0%) of LAMP was higher than those of the cPCR and rPCR (67.3%, 35/52) in blood samples. In conclusion, the LAMP developed in the study could be an useful alternative method for the detection of PCV2 in the swine disease diagnostic laboratories.

This study investigated the strength of concrete to improve construction material with polymer cement mortar. Some mixtures composed of Ethylrne Vinyl Acetate(EVA) and Acryl were studied. The two mixtures carried out the physical, mechanical test to determine its properties which a include : compressive, flexural, bond strength test. The test results show that the compressive strength was increased at long-term age when compared to early ages for increasing polymer contents. It was found that flexural strength and bond strength became larger as polymer to cement ratio became higher.

Recently, High clean water System is growing rapidly. When concrete of High Clean Water System become antioxidant due to ozon for High Clean Water, It has problem that durability is declined. The study develop Ozone Resistance Paints to prevent corrosion of the concrete and a performance was evaluated. Experimental result ascertain resistance about ozon and some acids. The study is expected that durability of concrete about High Clean Water System by using Ozone Resistance Paints improvement.

In Marine environment reinforced concrete structures, such as intake structure, water and chloride ion penetrated into concrete through the cracks of concrete and its permeable property, cause the corrosion of reinforcing steel bar, which accelerates the expansive cracks and deterioration of concrete. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate on deterioration of durability concrete through instrumental analysis such as schmidt hammer and chloride content. Under the reclaimed marine environment, the main cause of deterioration of concrete structures is the steel corrosion due to the penetration of chlorides and the deterioration of outer concrete itself by chemical attack.
