        Exploratory Methodology for Acquiring Architectural Plans Based on Spatial Graph Similarity

        In architectural planning, previous cases of similar spatial program provide important data for architectural design. Case-based reasoning (CBR) paradigm in the field of architectural design is closely related to the designing behavior of a planner who makes use of similar architectural designs and spatial programs in the past. In CBR, spatial graph can be constituted with most fundamental data, which can provide a method of searching spatial program by using visual graphs. This study developed a system for CBR that can analyze the similarity through graph comparison and search for buildings. This is an integrated system that is able to compare space similarity of different buildings and analyze their types, in addition to the analysis on a space within a single structure.

        J2.5dPathway: A 2.5D Visualization Tool to Display Selected Nodes in Biological Pathways, in Parallel Planes

        The characteristics of metabolic pathways make them particularly amenable to layered graph drawing methods. This paper presents a visual Java-based tool for drawing and annotating biological pathways in twoand- a-half dimensions (2.5D) as an alternative to threedimensional (3D) visualizations. Such visualization allows user to display different groups of clustered nodes, in different parallel planes, and to see a detailed view of a group of objects in focus and its place in the context of the whole system. This tool is an extended version of J2dPathway.

        A Simple Java Sequence Alignment Editing Tool for Resolving Complex Repeat Regions

        Finishing is the most time-consuming step in sequencing, and many genome projects are left unfinished due to complex repeat regions. Here, we have developed BACContigEditor, a prototype shotgun sequence finishing tool. It is essentially an editor that visualizes assemblies of shotgun sequence fragment reads as gapped multiple alignments. The program offers some flexibility that is needed to rapidly resolve complex regions within a working session. The sole purpose of the release is to promote collaborative creation of extensible software for fragment assembly editors, foster collaborative development, and reduce barriers to initial tool development effort. We describe our software architecture and identify current challenges. The program is available under an Open Source license.

        A Computer-aided Design Tool with Semiautomatic Image-Processing Features for Visualizing Biological Pathways

        The explosion in biological data resulting from highthroughput experiments requires new software tools to manipulate and display pathways in a way that can integrate disparate sources of information. A visual Java-based CAD tool for drawing and annotating biological pathways with semiautomatic image-processing features is described in this paper. The result of the image-editing process is an XML file for the appropriate links. This tool integrates the pathway images and XML file sources. The system has facilities for linking graphical objects to external databases and is capable of reproducing existing visual representations of pathway maps.

        시간 기반 계통지도 작성 방법을 이용한 공동주택 공간 구조의 변화 분석

        The purpose of this study is to develop phylogenetic tree through similarity analysis of space organization of apartment house plane over the past 40 years and to investigate the chronological evolution of the space organization. In addition to the previous qualitative classification methodology, a time based-joining method which draws phylogenetic tree considering the generation period of plane as well as a bipartite methodology of graphs similarity analysis algorithm were used to quantitatively classify and analyze the plane. As for the research subject, 485 unit plane of staircase and 3-bay type apartment house with an area of exclusive use space of 85m2 located in Seoul were used from 1970 to 2015, which are currently the most representative plane case in Korea. In this study, a total of 61 spatial structures were extracted, which were classified into space organizations where the different spaces(rooms) are connected through living room and through dining/kitchen and all the spaces are connected through hall. They were further divided into three subgroups to chronologically change and develop into nine types. Moreover, an analysis on the differentiation process of plane type revealed that it had a consistent direction of the changing process.

        지적재조사사업 수행을 위한 전문 인력의 수요예측

        The cadastral reform project is a national project that conducts direct survey and converts to digital cadastral data of 542 million lot of the national territory until 2030. The cadastral reform project takes an average of two years to perform in one business district, and it is a business that requires continuity from beginning to completion, and professional work at each stage should be organized organically. Therefore, many reform specialists are needed to complete the cadastral reform project. Demand and supply forecasts are required to establish a plan for raising professional workers. However, the existing studies have focused on training the manpower for conducting the cadastral reform, and do not reflect the recent results of the project and the change of the professional manpower. This study predicts the actual demand of professional manpower needed to carry out the cadastral reform project based on the second cadastral reform plan. 지적재조사사업은 2030년까지 전국토의 불부합지 542만필지에 대하여 직접 측량을 수행하여 디지털 지적으로 전환하는 국가적 사업이다. 지적재조사사업은 1개 사업지구에 대한 수행기간이 평균 2년 정도 소요되며, 착수부터 완료단계까지 연속적으로 각 단계별 전문적 업무가 유기적으로 이루어져야 하는 사업이다. 따라서, 지적재조사사업을 완료하기 위해서는 많은 재조사 수행 전문 인력이 필요하며, 전문 인력의 양성을 위한 계획을 수립하기 위해서는 수요와 공급의 예측이 요구된다. 하지만, 기존 연구들은 지적재조사 수행에 따른 인력양성에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 최근 사업 수행 결과와 전문 인력의 변화를 반영하지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제2차 지적재조사 기본계획을 바탕으로 지적재조사사업 수행에 필요한 실질적인 전문인력 수요를 예측한다.

        이 연구논문은 제목에서 보는 바와같이 건축구조공학분야중 구조역학과목에 대한 전산기이용에 따른 교육과정의 문제를 다룬것으로 아래에서 보는 바와 같이 이 방면의 국내외의 동향,전산전제강의의 효용 그리고 구조역학과목중 본논문의 전개에 적절하다고 생각되는 3개항목에 대한 전산기 이용에 따른 강의안을 제시하고 대한건축학회 교육.구조 양분과 합동위원회에서 행한 그 공개토의내용을 토대로 그에 대한 고찰과 건축구조역학 나아가서 건축구조공학 전반에 대한 전산기이용에 따른 교육과정의 개선화 내지 현실화에 대한 지침 등에 관한 결론을 얻고저 한 것이다.

        아파트 단위평면에서의 물 사용공간의 공간분석연구

        This study conducted a quantitative analysis of the number of water using spaces and of the changes in their floor area ratio by using a space analysis program. The analysis results were then examined from a socio-cultural perspective to see how the water using spaces, which had been linked to the outdoor space in the traditional Korean housing, affected changes in apartment house plans and subsequent changes in the housing culture, as they moved to the inside of the apartment house. It was found that water using spaces greatly affected the entire unit floor plan of apartment housing, undergoing various changes in correlation with the changes in society and daily living.

        다중 실험 지원을 위한 IEEE 802.11 무선랜의 가상화

        무선랜의 가상화를 통해 한정된 무선 자원을 여러 연구자들이 효율적으로 공유할 수 있게 한다. 기본적으로 가상화된 공간에서의 실험이 가상화되지 않은 곳에서의 실험과 일관되어야 하며 두 실험의 결과가 유사할수록 일관성이 좋다고 본다. 본 논문에서는 기존 IEEE 802.11 무선랜의 수정 없이 독립된 실험의 프로토콜 간에 상호작용을 방지하여 일관성이 좋은 가상화 기법을 제안한다. 성능 평가를 통해 일관성은 무선 채널의 특성(도플러 주파수, Ricean 계수 등)과 실험망의 수에 따라 달라짐을 확인하였다. 제안된 기법은 무선 채널의 특성에 따라 최적화되어 신뢰할 수 있는 결과를 얻을 수 있다. WLAN virtualization can make multiple simultaneous experiments, each of which is conducted by a separate researcher, share scarce wireless resources in an IEEE 802.11 WLAN. The experiment performed in a virtualized WLAN should be consistent with that in a non-virtualized WLAN. The more similar these two experimental results, the better the consistency. To this end, we propose a novel virtualization scheme that has good consistency by preventing multiple simultaneous experiments from interacting with one another, without any modifications to the IEEE 802.11 standard. Through an intensive simulation study, we confirm that the consistency depends not only on the number of simultaneous experiments but also on wireless channel characteristics such as Doppler frequency and Ricean factor. According to such dependencies, the proposed scheme is optimized, so that it supports good consistency.
