        가토에 이식된 Titanium plasma Sprayed IMZ 임프란트와 골의 계면 접촉 양상에 따른 결합력에 관한 연구

        In recent years immediate implantation has been tried by a few clinicians. This study placed IMZ implants in the rabbit femur with and without bony defects around the implant for simulating fresh extraction site. And one group with bony defects used porous hydroxyapatite ganules(HA) to fill if and the other group left the bony defects around the implant. The purpose of this study was to compare the shear bond strength and the bony contact and formation around the implant. Fifteen rabbits were divided into three groups and placed 10 IMZ implants to each group. Implant sites were surgically prepared with IMZ drills kit and implants were placed(Control), artificial bony defect was created with Apaceram drills kit around the implant sites and implants were placed(Experimental I), bony defect was filled with porous hydroxyapatite granules(Experimental II). Thereafter, rabbits were sacrificed at 8th week and specimens were prepared and pushout tested for shear bond strength of bone-implant interface immediately. Undecalcified and decalcified specimens were prepared with Vilanueva and hematoxylin-eosin stain for light microscopic finding. The results of this study were as follows. 1. In the control group, mean shear strength of bone-implant interface was $2.614{\pm}0.680$ MPa, experimental I was $0.664{\pm}0.322$ MPa, and experimental II was $2.281{\pm}0.606$ MPa. There was significant difference between control and experimental I, between experimental I and experimental II, but did not show significant difference between control and experimental II statistically. 2. In the bony formation surrounding IMZ implant of the three groups, that of cortical bone is more advanced than cancellous bone area. 3. In the histological findings of undecalcified specimens, control and experimental II showed more than 50% of bony or osteoid formation at the bony-implant interface. 4. In the histological findings of undecalcified specimens, experimental I showed less than 50% of bony or osteoid formation at the interface, and observed partial bony defect in the coronal zone. 5. In the experimental II group, were observed direct bony contact to hydroxyapatite granules, and infiltration of a few giant cells. 6. No inflammatory responses were seen around the titanium implants and the hydroxyapatite granules.

        파절된 임프란트 고정체의 분석과 처치

        Among the numerous factors contributing to implant failure, the most common are infection, failure of proper healing and overload. These factors may occur combined. Implant fractures are one of the complications resulting from overload. Implant fracture is not a common feature, but once it occurs it causes very unpleasant circumstances for the patient as well as for the practitioner. Only few studies have been reported regarding this subject. Thus, little is known about its solutions. It is important that analyzing reasons for implant fracture and finding appropriate solutions. Factors leading to implant fracture are design, material defects, nonpassive fit of prosthetic framework and biomechanical overload. Previous studies have reported that implant fractures ares associated with marginal bone loss and occur mostly in the posterior regions and that most patients showing parafunctional habits also have implant fracture. Abutment and gold screw loosening or fracture were also observed in some of the cases previous to implant fracture. Similar observations were seen in our hospital as well. The following cases will present implant fracture cases which have been successfully treated regarding function and biomechanics. This was achieved by means of using increased number of futures, increasing fixture diameter and establishing proper occlusion.

        타이태늄 합금의 생체적합도에 관한 연구

        Screw shaped implants of Titanium-13Zirconium-6Niobium(newly developed), Titanium-6Zirconium-6Sn-6Niobium(newly developed) and Titanium-6Aluminum-4Vanadium were machined with square top and inserted in rabbit bone for 3 months. Biomechanical tests(removal torque) showed Titanium-13Zirconium-6Niobium and Titanium-6Zirconium-6Sn-6Niobium to be more stable in the bone bed than those of Titanium-6Aluminum-4Vanadium. Titanium-13Zirconium-6Niobium implants demonstrated a mean removal torque of 31.59Ncm while Titanium-6Aluminum-4Vanadium demonstrated a mean removal torque of 25.27Ncm and Titanium-6Zirconium-6Sn-6Niobium revealed a mean removal torque of 37.44Ncm and were statistically significance in Wilcoxon Signed Rank test(P<0.05). Histomorphometrical comparisons were performed on $10\;{\mu}m$ thick undecalcified ground sections in the light microscope and Titanium-13Zirconium-6Niobium showed more mean bone-tometal contact ratio than to other twotitanium alloys but had no statistically significant differences were found among the three materials(P>0.01).

        수종 한약재가 혈관에 미치는 영향

        Rhizoma Arisaematis, Lignum Akebiae, Rhizoma Zedoariae, Cortex Eucommiae, Folium Perillae, Radix Sophorae Subprostratae, Radixi, Radix Ledeboutriellae, Rhizoma Atractylodis, Herba Ephedrae, Radix Puerariae and Radi Aconitx Bupleuri have been used in Korea for many centuries as a treatment for various disease. The purpose of the present study is to determine the effect of several herbs on norepinephrine(NE) induced blood vessel contraction in rabbits and pigs. Rabbit(2 kg, male) were killed by $CO_2$ exposure and a segment (8-10mm) of each rabbit was cut into equal segments and mounted in a tissue bath. Contractile force was measured with force displacement transducers under 2-3 g loading tension. The dose of norepinephrine(NE) which evoked 50% of maximal response $(ED_{50})$ was obtained from cumulative dose response curves for NE $(10^{-6}{\sim}10^{-3}M)$. Contractions evoked by NE $(ED_{50})$ were inhibited significantly by Rhizoma Arisaematis, Lignum Akebiae, Rhizoma Zedoariae, Cortex Eucommiae, Folium Perillae, Radix Sophorae Subprostratae and Herba Ephedrae in abdominal aorta. Contractions evoked by NE $(ED_{50})$ were inhibited significantly be Lignum Akebiae, Rhizoma Zedoariae, Cortex Eucommiae, Herba Ephedrae, Radix Puerariae and Radix Bupleuri in femoral artery. Contractions evoked by NE $(ED_{50})$ were inhibited significantly by Radix Sophorae Subprostratae, Radix Aconiti and Herba Ephedrae in renal artery. These results indicate that each herb can relax NE induced contraction of rabbit and pig blood vessel selectively, and that this relaxation relates to Gui-Gyung(歸經).

      • 특집: 농장동물복지 국제동향 및 국내정책 방향

        우리나라는 1991년 동물에 대한 학대행위 방지 등 동물을 적정하게 보호 관리하기 위하여 필요한 규정을 만들어 동물의 생명과 그 안전을 보호하고, 생명의 존중 등 국민의 정서 함양에 이바지하게 함을 목적으로 '동물보호법'을 제정하였다. 그러나 당시 법에서는 반려동물과 실험동물을 대상으로 한 동물학대 금지 및 유기동물 등에 대한 조치와 동물을 교육 학술연구 및 기타 과학적 목적으로 이용시 고통을 주지 않토록 하는 내용을 규정하고 있다. 그 후 우리 국민의 동물보호 복지에 대한 관심과 의식수준이 점차적으로 향상되면서 국민들의 요구에 따라 그 간 수차례 법령을 개정하였고, 2008년에 전면 개정된 법령에는 반려동물과 실험동물뿐아니라 농장동물에 대하여도 동물학대 금지 및 해당 동물을 적정하게 보호 관리토록하는 동물보호 복지 개념을 도입하게 되었다. 우리가 이처럼 농장동물복지에 대해 초보단계에 있는 것과 달리, 이미 세계동물보건기구(OIE) 및 동물복지 선진국은 농장동물복지 정책에 대해 많은 기준을 만들고 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 또한 한-EU FTA 협상과정에서 EU측이 농장동물복지를 의제화 할 것을 요구하는 등 국가간 통상에서도 농장동물 복지가 중요한 이슈로 작용하고 있어 이 분야에 대한 깊은 관심과 정책개발이 필요하다고 하겠다. 따라서 일반 국민뿐아니라 축산업계에서도 '과연 농장동물복지란 무엇인가'에 대한 궁금증과 더불어 '국내 소비자 및 축산농가에 큰 부담을 주지 않을까'하는 우려를 하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이에 동물복지란 무엇인가에 대하여 간략히 알아보고, 농장동물 복지에 대한 국제동향 및 국내정책의 방향에 대해서도 논의하고자 한다.

        수종(數種) 한약재(韓藥材)가 기관지평골근(氣管支平滑筋)에 미치는 영향(影響)(I)

        Several medicinal Plants in Jeonbuk are screened for the contraction or relaxation to the acetylcholine and histamine induced contraction in the isolated rat and guinea pig's trachea smooth muscle. Contractions evoked by acetylcholine and histamine were inhibited by Flos Farfarae, Poria and Rhizoma alismatis, but contractions were increased Tuber Pinelliae, Herba Chelidonii, Fructus Qusqualis, Radix Asari, Semen Perillae, Folium Artemisiae and Fructus Schizamdrae increased the contractions evoked by acetylcholine and histamine. Radix Puerariae, Radix Osterici Koreani, Rhizoma Zingiberis siccatum, Radix Sanguisorbae, Rhizoma Atractylodis, Fructus gardeniae and Cortex Magnoliae did not effect the contractions evoked by acetylcholine and histamine.

        시뮬레이션을 활용한 DC형 퇴직연금의 Pension Risk 분석

        본 연구는 DC제도에서 근로자가 회사로부터 지급받는 퇴직금 추계액을 사용하여 마련해야할 퇴직금 규모를 설정하였다. 또한 적립금 성장모형을 활용하여 자산의 수익률과 배분에 따른 시뮬레이션 결과로 추계액과 적립금 비교를 통하여 shortfall risk 발생수준을 확률적으로 연구하여 가장 적절한 자산배분포트폴리오를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 2004년부터 2013년까지 KOSPI와 종합채권수익률을 기초로 시뮬레이션 분석을 하였으며 적립금이 추계액보다 부족한 경우와 동일한 경우 2개의 시나리오를 설정하였다. 이를 통해 1기간 동안 주식과 채권의 자산배분에 따라 연금리스크가 발생하지 않을 확률을 확인하였고 연금리스크가 발생하지 않도록 DC가입자, 정부, 기업들이 노력할 것을 제안한다. This study calculates the employee receives severance pay scale are paid from the company in the DC system. In addition, by utilizing the reserve growth model were studied in accordance with shortfall risk levels generated by stochastic asset allocation. For the analysis, from 2004 to 2013 using the KOSPI returns and total bond yields were simulated. Scenario 1 is when compared to the severance reserve is insufficient. Scenario 2 is the same as if toy reserve this severance pay. During one period, depending on the asset allocation of stocks and bonds was confirmed that the probability pension risk does not occur. And we suggest that members of DC pension risk endeavor with the government and companies to avoid.
