          해조류중 흔적량 망간의 전열원자흡수 분광광도법 정량을 위한 매트릭스 개선에 관한 연구

          A matrix modification was studied for the determination of trace manganese in several seaweeds by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrophotometry(ETAAS). The type and quantity of modifiers were investigated to realize the efficient modification. Palladium was chosen as a single modifier. By the addition of palladium(5$\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$) to 2ng/$m\ell$ manganese solution, the temperatures were raised from 1,00$0^{\circ}C$ to 1,20$0^{\circ}C$ for the charring and from 2,10$0^{\circ}C$ to 2,20$0^{\circ}C$ for the atomization as well as the sensitivity and reproducibility were improved. With such optimum conditions, the trace amount of manganese in several seaweeds(laver, tangle and brown seaweed) could be determined by a calibration curve method, and good recoveries of more than 965 were also obtained in the samples in which a given amount of manganese was spiked. The detection limit of this method was about 0.048ng/$m\ell$.

          산소발생제제의 온도상승억제와 촉진효과에 관한 연구

          It is the most important that the secondary damages by dyspnoea were prevented in an accidents and emergency rescue circumstances. For this purpose, gas masks have to be used and its use were increased, but actually their function have been insufficient in real situations. Decreasing with increasing temperature in chemical reaction of KO_2 with CO_2 and humidity, the method of reaction acceleration and formation of hazard materials after their reaction in self oxygen generating mask have to be investigated. A reagent decreasing the temperature in reaction cell was introduced because heat was occurred in there by the reaction of KO_2 with CO_2 and water. Also an accelerating agent was considered to obtain lots of O_2 during short time. The probability of basic mist formation after O_2 generating reaction was evaluated in chemical view point. It was observed that the phenomenon in which the temperature in reaction cell decreased by potassium nitrate as coolant as well as a lot of O_2 could be obtained by sodium hydrogen carbonate in short time. Also expected basic mist does not observed from this O_2 generating reaction. The temperature could be decreased by potassium nitrate as endothermic agent, also the reaction was stably accelerated by sodium hydrogen carbonate as adduct and the hazard material as basic mist to human body was not detect.

          Image Analysis Software를 이용한 변형적혈구 측정법 개발

          Background: To achieve consistency in poikilocytes grading in peripheral blood cell examinations, we made an image-based differential count (IDC) software to measure the degree of abnormalities in individual red blood cells (RBCs) and relative fractions of poikilocytes. Methods: Thirty peripheral blood samples were analyzed. Smear slides were examined on a microscope with charge-coupled device (CCD) camera. To verify this program, we compared the IDC results with the results of manual differential counting (MDC). Relative fractions of schistocytes, echinocytes, and elliptocytes were measured by IDC and MDC. The error rate of IDC was measured by confirming the final processed images of IDC. Correlations of IDC and MDC results were compared using linear regression analysis and the time required for each test was measured. For presentation of the mathematical decision criteria of poikilocytes, IDC algorithms for recognizing schistocytes, echinocytes, and elliptocytes were made using simple geometrical or mathematical formulas. Results: The error rate of IDC was 2.8%. For analysis of 1,000 RBCs, MDC took 7.3 minutes and IDC took 2.7 minutes. Linear regression coefficients were 0.776 (P <0.001) for schistocytes, 0.895 (P <0.001) for echinocytes, and 1.001 (P <0.001) for elliptocytes. Conclusions: It was possible to define poikilocytes with geometrical or mathematical formulas using image analysis programs. The IDC program would be helpful for consistent grading of poikilocytes. 배경: 일관성 있는 말초혈액검사의 변형적혈구의 등급 측정을 위해 이미지 기반 감별 측정(image based differential count) 프로그램을 제작하여 적혈구의 하나하나의 이상 정도를 측정하고 변형적혈구의 상대적 분율(relative fraction)을 계산하였다. 방법: 30명의 말초혈액의 형태학적 소견을 분석하였다. 말초혈액도 말을 charge-coupled device 카메라가 부착된 현미경을 이용하여확대 촬영 및 관찰하였다. 영상 분석 소프트웨어를 평가하기 위하여 수기감별측정법(manual differential count)의 결과와 비교하였다. 분열적혈구(schistocyte), 톱니적혈구(echinocyte), 타원적혈구(elliptocyte)의 상대적 분율을 영상측정법과 수기법을 이용해 계산하였다. 오류율은 영상 분석 소프트웨어의 최종 이미지 결과를확인하여 측정하였다. 선형회귀분석을 통해 영상측정법과 수기법의 상관성을 평가하고 검사 소요시간을 측정하였다. 비정상적혈구의 형태학적 특성을 정의할 수 있는 수학적 판정 기준을 제시하기위하여 영상측정법의 알고리듬은 간단한 수학적, 기하학적 공식에 기반하여 제작하였다. 결과: 영상측정법의 오류율은 2.8%였다. 적혈구 1,000개를 측정하는데 소요된 시간을 환산했을 때 수기법은 7.3분, 영상측정법은2.7분이 걸렸다. 선형회귀분석에서 직선회귀계수는 분열적혈구의경우 0.776 (P<0.001), 톱니적혈구의 경우 0.895 (P<0.001), 타원적혈구의 경우 1.001 (P<0.001)이었다. 결론: 영상 분석 프로그램을 이용해 이상적혈구의 형태학적 소견을 기하학적, 수학적 공식을 이용해 정의할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 영상측정법은 변형적혈구의 등급 측정의 일관성을 유지하는 데도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라 생각한다.

          Pager 동작 시간 향상을 위한 POCSAG Signal Decoder의 설계

          In this paper, we designed POCSAG Signal Decoder to improve operating time in pager. We showed POCSAG Signal Pattern sent by transmitter and operation of this decoder. We also showed that the Pager using this decoder was equipped with Wide Area Signal Detection and designed the hardware which realizes this operation and implemented it with ASIC chip. As we inspected the function of the ASIC chip and tested the performance, we could find that the chip operated in low voltage and that power dissipation was low.
