판소리 다섯 바탕의 전승과 재창조 심청가 서울예술단의 뮤지컬 <심청> 연구

Pansori Shim-Chung Ga was firstly reproduced into a typical Broadway Musical by Seoul Performing Arts Company. Shim-Chung Ga was already adapted for various genres of Music Drama, namely Akgeuk by Asea Music Drama Company, Gageuk by Ban-do Opera company, a number of Changgeuk and the opera by Yun, Iee-sang and Kim, Dong-jin respectively, but it was the first attempt that the adaptation of Shim-Chung Ga for the modern musical was possibly materialized by Seoul Performing Arts Company. Ryu, Kyung-whan, the director proposed that the main theme of Shim-Chung Ga should be the completion of filial piety. He, therefore, focused on the unique way of representation on stage rather than the reinterpretation of the text. Consequently, musical Shim-Chung was composed of musical numbers and background music throughout the text without any line. The stage sets were designed on the basis of the automatic system for delivering the fantastic mood of the text. According to the director`s strategy, the composition was given a great deal of weight on shaping the ideas of Shiw-chung. The creative team entrusted Choi, Kyu-sub, both a popular young musical composer and a Korean popular song composer with the whole composition of musical Shim-chung. He believed that the proper province of making Musical was following the grammar of Broadway Musical. Owing to this vision, the musical language of Broadway Musical was positively used and various genres of music were placed to be suitable for the stream of the text. The repeated leitmotif and the reprise in Act 2 contributed to imply the dramatic significance through music. As a result, however, the great emphasis on music weakened the performance of actor/actress. Alongside this facet, it can be presumably said that the hackneyed way of interpretation was the crucial reason to hinder musical Shim-chung from being positioned as a worldwide musical.

동해안 대규모 산불과 발전기축 진동 현상 관측에 대한 고찰

2022년 3월 4일, 경북 울진에서 발생한 산불이 강원 삼척까지 번지면서 열흘만에 내린 비로 간신히 진화된 사건이 있었다. 이 때 N-6 상정사고가 발생하여 삼척그린파워 발전기에서 차동기진동이 약 1.2초간 검출되였다. 본고는 차동기진동 현상의 원인과 종류에 대해 간략하게 설명하고 이번 동해안 전력계통에서 발견된 진동 현상의 원인에 대해 고찰하고자 한다. On March 4, 2022, massive wildfires throughout the eastern coast of Korea occurred and were extinguished after ten days. At the moment, the N-6 contingencies happened near Samcheok power plants, causing subsynchronous oscillations (SSOs) sustained for nearly 1.2 seconds. This paper briefly explains the root causes and types of SSOs and then investigates the massive wildfire case.

1930년대~1980년대 호남 지방의 직물 생산 방식의 특징 -전라남도 구례군의 면직물과 견직물을 중심으로-

This study investigated the characteristics and changes of cotton and silk textile production in Honam district, especially in Gurye, Jella Province from the 1930s to the 1980s. To do this, research method in this study was both literature and fieldwork research and results were as follows. First, in terms of cotton fiber cultivation of Gurye, Chinese Cotton(在來綿) has been substituted for America Cotton(陸地綿) and additionally, Yellow Cotton(黃綿) has been cultivated in the 1930s. Also, in terms of silk fiber cultivation of Gurye, Joseon Silkworm has been substituted for Japanese Silkworm by inflowing the Japanese mulberry tree. Second, in terms of spinning method, cotton spinning has been conducted at every house by an individual tool from the 1930s to the 1950s and has been gradually changed to mechanization by market shop equipped with mechanized cotton gin and cotton whipping tool. However, there have been no changes in silk spinning method from the 1930s to the 1980s. Third, loom type has been changed from the traditional Korean back-strap loom to the treadle loom between the 1930s and the 1940s. Fourth, dyeing was conducted by chemical dyestuff after weaving. The circulation of textile was done through the joint market by Japan in the 1930s~1950s and has changed to the market sales by producers since the 1950s. Fifth, since the 1970s, the outputs of cotton and silk textile of Gurye have been reduced. This was connected with the westernization and the inflow of the synthetic fiber and cloth in cotton and was related to the changes of the nation policy and silk fiber inflow from the china to the Korean farm villages.

사용자 경험품질 평가체계도출 및 제품개발 적용에 관한연구 - 웨어러블 자동제세동기(WCD)를 중심으로 -

디자인개발단계에서 디자인컨셉과 시제품에 대한 사용자 경험품질 테스트를 실행함으로써 제품디자인 개발시 보다 사용성이 우수한 제품개발이 가능하도록 디자인개발 단계별 사용자경험품질평가체계를 도출하였다. 사용자경험품질평가체계는 향후 다양한 케이스에 대응할 수 있도록 표준적 체계로 사용자 경험품질이 통합된 디자인개발 프로세스, 제품속성 분류, 사용자 경험품질 속성 등 각각 체계를 제시하여 향후 평가 케이스가 제품자체 뿐만 아니라 각각의 요소에 대한 평가 사례도 축적되고 공유되는 체계를 마련한 것이 의의라 할 수 있다. 의료기기 중 하나인 웨어러블자동제세동기(WCD)의 디자인컨셉 및 시제품개발에 적용하여 테스트를 실시 하였으며, 제시된 사용자경험품질평가 체계가 보편화되기 위해서는 다양한 후속연구가 필요하고, 이러한 후속연구를 통해 지속적으로 수정/보완이 된다면 디자인개발-사용자경험품질 측정의 연계 체계가 확립될 수 있을 것이고, 향후 디자인의 정량 평가의 수단으로 발전이 기대되므로 후속연구가 절대적으로 필요할 것으로 판단된다. The system for assessing user experience quality over design concepts and trial products during each stage of design development was elicited in order to develop products with superior utility. The user experience quality assessment system would provide a standardized system for various cases involving design development process, categorization of product attributes, and user experience quality attributes. This system has its value in that it would not only involve evaluation of the product itself but also the composing elements of the products, which would lead to accumulation and sharing of assessment cases. The system was tested on the development of design concept and trial product of WCD, a medical device. More follow up researches are warranted for the user experience quality assessment system to be generalized, and given that the system continues to undergo supplementary revision, a design development-user experience quality assessment system linkage could be established. It is expected to progress into a means for quantitative assessment tool of the design, which makes future researches a requisite.

일제 강점기 전라남도 종방 마을의 양잠 생산에 관한 연구: 곡성군, 담양군 종방 마을을 중심으로

This study investigated the characteristics and changes of Jeongbang-village silk culture Jeollanam-do Province during Japanese Colonial Rule with a focus in on Gokseong-gun & Damyang-gun Jeongbang-village. The results of the study are as follows. First, after Japanese occupation, it changed from a traditional silkworm species, the Joseon Silkworms and the mulberry tree to an improved Japanese species. Japan established a silk spinning mill called Jongyeon Textile factory in Gwangju and Jeongbang Village was formed in poor rural areas. Second, the way of village management consisted of buying a large number of land for mulberry plans and creating mulberry fields as a cheap way to utilize the labor force for women and men in rural areas. Third, since the end of the Japanese colonial era, mulberry fields in Jeongbang villages which the Japanese left, were sold at a cheap price to Koreans. After the Korean War, the Korean government’s efforts to modernize the silkworm industry resulted in a continuous plan to increase the number of silkworms. The impact of government policies has also increased the production of silkworms in these areas. However, since the early 1980s, Korean companies have been affected by Japanese economic policies and dumping by China that has resulted in in a sharp decline in their production. In the case of Gokseong-gun and Damyang, the production of silk products was halted and switched to other crops in the early 1990s when the farming industry began to decline.

Primary ovarian leiomyoma is a rare benign ovarian tumor. Ovarian leiomyoma accompanied with atypical Meigs` syndrome is extremely rare. A 13-year-old woman had underlying primary lymphedema and visited our clinic due to associated vulvar edema. During a gynecologic examination, we detected a right ovarian tumor with large amounts of ascites on transrectal ultrasonography. The tumor size increased from 4 to 7 cm during 6 months follow-up. After laparoscopic right ovarian tumorectomy, the final pathology of the tumor was primary ovarian leiomyoma. Ovarian leiomyomas are not typically suspected before surgery due to their extreme rarity and because they are easily misdiagnosed as fi broma during frozen biopsy due to similarities between both diseases. Here we introduce the case of a primary ovarian leiomyoma accompanied with atypical Meigs` syndrome.

뮤지컬 <몬테크리스토>의 한국적 변용과 공연전략

EMK뮤지컬컴퍼니는 상대적으로 자유로운 유럽 뮤지컬 라이선스 협약 조건을 활용해 라이선스 뮤지컬 공연 시 국내 정서에 맞도록 한국적 해석을 입히는작업을 꾸준히 해왔다. 이 논문은 EMK의 뮤지컬 <몬테크리스토>를 주목하고, 유럽의 원작을 미국인 작업자들이 각색하고 여러 변화 단계를 거친 후 한국에서성공한 뮤지컬로 정착되고 IP까지 귀속되는 과정을 논구한다. 논의의 결과 <몬테크리스토>의 가족주의는 한국적 해석의 구체적인 내용으로 확인된다. 유럽의원작을 미국의 창작진이 각색하며 낭만적 사랑에 대한 테마를 확대하고 멜로드라마적 해석을 첨가했으나 실제로 멜로드라마적 표현방법을 활용하여 테마를 시각적으로 명확히 가시화한 것은 한국 프로덕션이었다. 관객의 감정을 조작하고 플롯을 통해 뚜렷한 도덕적 태도를 보이는 것에 모든 요소가 종속되어 있으며, 사회적 원인보다 개인의 사적인 윤리의 영역으로 갈등을 축소시키는 멜로드라마의귀결은 한국 버전의 가족주의를 통해 훨씬 뚜렷하게 부각된다. 한국 프로덕션의무대는 공간을 상상하게 하고 배우를 부각시키는 스위스 초연의 연극적 연출방식을 지우고, 무대의 영상 테크놀로지와 대형 세트를 활용하여 공간의 그림이 객석을 압도하는 환영주의를 극대화하는 방향으로 정리됨으로써 낭만적 사랑과 가족주의를 결합한 멜로드라마 <몬테크리스토>를 완성시켰다. 이러한 변화는 특히젠더 배치 면에서 한국 대극장 뮤지컬의 보수화를 견인했음을 확인할 수 있다. EMK Musical Company has consistently used the terms of the European musical’s relatively free licensing agreement to apply “Korean interpretation” to suit domestic sentiment. This paper focuses on EMK’s musical Monte Cristo, and discusses the process of American workers adapting the original novel of Europe and settling into a successful musical in Korea after transforming it into a certain performance context. As a result, Monte Cristo’s Familism is confirmed as a concrete interpretation of the Korean transformation. The original Switzerland musical version was adapted by American creators, expanding the theme of romantic love and adding melodramatic interpretations, but it was actually Korean production that visualized it using melodramatic expression methods. All elements of melodrama depend on manipulating the audience’s emotions and showing a clear moral attitude through plots, and the result of melodrama, which reduces conflict to the realm of personal ethics rather than social causes, is much more clearly highlighted through the Korean version of Familism. The stage of Korean production eliminated the theatrical staging of Switzerland premiere that imagines beyond the actual space and highlights actors/actresses, and used the stage’s visual technology and large set to maximize the illusionism that overwhelms the audience, completing the melodrama Monte Cristo. This changes can be seen as driving forces of the conservatism of Korean mega musicals, especially in terms of gender placement.

외식 브랜드 영상광고의 가치차원이 소비자의 브랜드 신뢰와 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 외식 브랜드의 영상광고의 가치차원과 브랜드 신뢰, 브랜드 충성도의 관계성을 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 모집단은 대한민국 외식 소비자 이며, 이 를 위해 본 연구에서는 온라인 설문조사를 진행하여 자료를 수집하였다. AMOS통계패키지 프로그램을 이용하여 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 외식 브랜드 영상광고의 가치차원 중 정보성은 브랜드 신뢰에 정 (+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 둘째, 외식 브랜드 영상광고의 가치차원 중 오락성은 브랜드 신뢰에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 외식 브랜드 영상광고의 가치차원 중 불편성은 브랜드 신뢰에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 외식 브랜드 영상광고의 가치차원 중 정보성은 브랜드 충 성도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 외식 브랜드 영상광고의 가 치차원 중 오락성은 브랜드 충성도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 외식 브랜드 영상광고의 가치차원 중 불편성은 브랜드 충성도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 브랜드 신뢰는 브랜드 충성도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 광고가치 속성이 브랜드 신뢰 및 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향을 참고하여 외식 브랜드 광고를 제작한다면 외식 시장에서 브랜드 신뢰를 얻는 것과 브랜드 충성도를 높임에 있어 좀 더 높은 경쟁력을 가질 수 있다고 보인다. This study intended to understand the relationship among value dimensions, brand trust and brand royalty of video advertisement of food service brands. This study was aimed at food service customers, collecting data through an online survey was conducted a study using AMOS statistical package program. Study results are First, informativeness and entertainment out of value dimensions of food service brand video advertisement exerts a positive (+) effect on brand trust. Second, irritation out of value dimensions of food service brand video advertisement has a negative (-) effect on brand trust. Third, entertainment out of the value dimensions of food service brand video advertisement, entertainment turned out to have a positive (+) effect on brand royalty. Fourth, of the value dimensions of food service brand video advertisement, informativeness and irritation do not affect brand royalty. Fifth, brand trust exerts a positive (+) effect on brand royalty. If food service brand advertisement can be manufactured by referring to the effects of the attributes of advertisement values in this study on brand trust and brand royalty, the advertisement will be able to have stronger competitiveness in gaining brand trust and increasing brand royalty in food service industry.
