        2018년 국내 연근해 수산생물의 전염병 모니터링

        자연수계 수산생물의 전염병 모니터링은 자연수계 및 양식 수산생물의 질병 관련성 및 상관관계 구명은 질병 발생 예방 및 확산 방지에 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 2018년 해구 64개소에서 어류 39종 977마리 및 갑각류 14종 287마리를 선정하여 총 1,264마리에 대하여 병원체 감염 여부를 조사하였다. 어류는 법정전염병 2종 (VHS, RSIVD) 및 비법정전염병 3종 (MABVD, HRVD, LCD)을 분석하고 갑각류는 법정전염병 6종 (WSD, IHHN, TS, IMN, YHD, WTD)을 분석하였다. 조사한 모든 시료에서 전염병이 검출되지 않았지만, 우리나라에서 조사한 자연수계 수산생물이 무병하여 청정국 또는 청정지위 선언에 중요한 정보를 제공할 것이다. Disease monitoring in wild aquatic animals is necessary to obtain information about disease occurrence, disease agents, and the transmission of diseases between wild and cultured species. In this study, we monitored viral diseases in wild marine fish and crustacea caught by trawl in Korea in April and October 2018. We monitored the viral diseases in 977 fish from 39 different species and 287 crustacea from 14 different species. In fish, we collected kidney and spleen to detect viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus (VHSV), red sea bream iridovirus (RSIV), marine birnavirus (MABV), hirame rhabdovirus (HRV), and lymphocystis disease virus (LCDV). In crustacea, we monitored white spot syndrome virus (WSSV), infectious hypodermal and hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHHNV), taura syndrome virus (TSV), infectious myonecrosis virus (IMNV), yellowhead disease virus (YHDV), and white tail disease virus (WTDV) using pleopods, pereiopods, gills, muscle, and hepatopancreases. Although none of the viral diseases tested in this study were detected in the samples, these results will help disease control between aquaculture species and wild aquatic animals.

        척수 장애인의 욕창 예방을 위한 자세 변화 모니터링 시스템 기반의 맞춤형 융복합 오프로딩 방석 개발 : 파일럿 스터디

        욕창 예방 방석은 욕창을 예방하기 위한 중재 방법의 하나로, 둔부의 압력 부하 감소 및 재분배를 통해 피부의 손상을 방지한다. 최근에는 오프로딩 기술과 함께 사용자의 신체적 특성에 맞게 디자인된 맞춤형 방석에 관한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 하지만, 손상분절 이하의 감각을 느끼는 것이 제한된 척수 장애인은 자세 변화에 따른 피부 눌림, 과도한 압력 등을 인지하지 못하여 이차적인 욕창 발생 위험에 노출된다. 따라서, 본 연구는 자세 변화 및 체압 분포 모니터링이 가능한 맞춤형 융복합 오프로딩 방석을 개발하고, 척수 장애인 3명을 대상으로 파일럿 스터디를 진행하여 사용자 만족도와 삶의 질에 미치는 영향력을 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대상자의 임상적 정보를 바탕으로 맞춤형의 오프로딩 방석을 디자인하였다. 둘째, 센싱 기술 적용한 자세 변화 모니터링 시스템을 개발하였으며, 대상자는 모니터링 어플리케이션을 통해 자신의 착석 자세와 체압 분포를 실시간으로 체크할 수 있다. 셋째, 한국판 보조기구 만족도 검사(K-QUEST 2.0)의 보조기기 영역과 보조기기 서비스 영역의 평균 점수는 자세 변화 모니터링 시스템 기반의 맞춤형 융복합 오프로딩 방석이 맞춤형 오프로딩 방석에 비해 높았지만, 전반적인 만족도는 두 방석 모두 높았다. 넷째, 한국판 보조기기 심리 사회적 영향 척도(K-PIADS)와 1:1 인터뷰 결과에서는 자세 변화 모니터링 시스템 기반의 맞춤형 융복합 오프로딩 방석이 척수 장애인의 심리사회적 요소, 활동 참여, 삶의 질에 긍정적인 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 경수 장애인 3명을 대상으로 진행되었기 때문에 결과를 일반화하는 것에 제한이 있다. 따라서 향후에는 다양한 손상유형의 척수 장애인을 대상으로 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료 된다. Pressure ulcer preventive cushion is one of the intervention methods for preventing pressure ulcer, which prevents damage to the skin through reduction and redistribution of the pressure load on the buttocks. Recently, research has been conducted on customized cushions designed based on users" physical characteristics along with off-loading technology. However, people with spinal cord disabilities who are restricted from feeling sensation below the damaged segment are exposed to secondary pressure ulcers because they are not aware of excessive pressure due to changes in posture. The purpose of this research was to developed a customized convergence off-loading cushion capable of monitoring postural changes and body pressure distribution, and conducted pilot study for three people with spinal cord injuries to explore their impact on user satisfaction and quality of life. The results and contents of this study are as follows. First, a customized off-loading cushion was designed based on the clinical information of the subjects. Second, a postural change monitoring system applied with sensing technology has been developed, and subjects can check their seating posture and pressure distribution in real time through the monitoring application. Third, in the assistive technology area and assistive technology service area of the Korean version of Quebec User Evaluation of Satisfaction with assistive Technology (K-QUEST 2.0), the average score of customized convergence off-loading cushion based on postural change monitoring system was higher than the customized off-loading cushion, but the overall satisfaction was high for both cushion. Fourth, in the result of 1:1 interview and the Korean version of Psychosocial Impact of Assistive Devices Scale (K-PIADS), a customized convergence off-loading cushion based on a posture change monitoring system has a positive influence on psychosocial factors, activity participation, and quality of life for people with spinal cord injury. Since this study had been conducted on three people with cervical spinal cord injuries, there is a limit to generalizing the results. Therefore, it is considered that research should be conducted on people with spinal cord disabilities with various injury type in the future.

        전염성근괴사증바이러스(IMNV)를 인위감염 시킨 흰다리새우(Litopenaeus vannamei)의 근육에서 나타난 미세 손상과 염증반응에 대한 조직병리학적 특성 연구

        We injected infectious myonecrosis virus (IMNV) to pacific whiteleg shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei, and observed closely with using light microscope and transmission electron microscope (TEM) for 4-8 days post infection (dpi). As clinical signs, abdominal bodies had mild opaque muscles at 5 dpi. And the mortality was shown at 6 dpi. At 8 dpi, most injected shrimps had severe opaque muscles and humped back that cause of movement disorder. As results of histopathological examinations, local parts of abdominal body muscle had muscle fiber hyalinization, muscle fiber atrophy, rounded muscle fibers, myofibrillar hypertrophy in size, a decrease in number of myofibrils and phagocytosis from the sarcolemmas by multiple hemocytes at 4 dpi. Especially, myofibrillar hypertrophy appeared at the whole or random part of single muscle fiber not in specific locations like the center or edge of muscle fiber. At 6-7 dpi, multiple muscle necrosis, muscle fiber segmentation, myofibril lysis appeared and a few hemocytes were infiltrated at lesions. At 8 dpi, extensive muscle necrosis, multiple myofibril lysis and muscle fiber atrophy were shown, and very few hemocytes were infiltrated. In early stage of infection, local viral myositis with zenker’s degeneration were shown. These lesions appeared multiply after the early stage. In late stage of infection, extensive coagulative muscle necrosis appeared with few of inflammatory response such as hemocytes infiltration. The lack of hemocytes infiltration response at the late stage might be disadvantage for Litopenaeus vannamei to defense against IMNV and to recover, because hematocytes (granulocyte, semi-granulocyte) eliminate pathogen and damaged tissues from infection sites and help recover. As results of the TEM observation, IMNVs that had nonenveloped icosahedral capsid which was 30-40 nm diameter were in myofibril and beside tubules of sarcoplasmic reticulum and moved to the certain direction. The micro-tears and micro-traumas in myofibrils caused muscle fiber necrosis. And semi-granulocytes engulfed IMNVs to eliminate virus.

        This paper proposed the face detection and tracking system using a embedded computing system for humanoid robot environment which allows the user to observe of recognize an unknown person. For detection faces in image sequence, the system uses the skin color model and deformable ellipse matching. Faces in a view are detected by maximizing the image gradient magnitude around the perimeter of the ellipse (or face line) and the number of skin color pixels in the ellipse area. The information of detected face regions are stored on-line into a face state table and are evaluated for tracking in real-time. Results of this processing are applied to embedded humanoid robot The applied robot acts to detect human's fate and react to it. After this processing, the result is sent to embedded humanoid robot through zigbee wireless module. The robot that got this data acts to detect human's face and react to it.

        苦蔘 추출물이 접촉피부염이 유발된 생쥐의 피부에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: The dried root of Sophora flavescens Aiton have been used to treat patient with skin diseases such as eczema in Eastern countries. S. flavescens can clear away heat and dry dampness and purge sthenic-fire from the liver and gallbladder. Recently, anti-allergic effect of S. flavescens has been reported. However, the effect on skin condition of contact dermatitis still remains unknown. Thus, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of S. flavescens on contact dermatitis. Methods : In order to investigate the effects of S. flavescens (methanol extract of S. flavescens, MESR) on skin condition, the contact dermatitis was induced in mice skin by using 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitrofluorobenzene (DNFB). As the effective endpoints, skin thickness, skin weight, histopathological change were checked. In addition, effects on skin lesion, body weight and spleen/body weight ratio were also investigated. Results : Topical application of MESR (500 ㎍/day) lowered skin thickness (P < 0.05) and skin weight (P < 0.05), respectively. MESR-treated group showed diminished spongiosis and immune cell infiltration in skin tissues compared to those of non-treated control group. The inhibition of skin lesions was also observed in MESR-treated group. In addition, MESR did not affect body weight gain and spleen / body weight ratio in contrast with those in dexamethasone-treated group. Conclusion : These data suggest that Sophorae Radix could improve skin lesion of contact dermatitis. This indicates the possibility for Sophorae Radix to be used to patients with skin diseases such as contact dermatitis.

        해양성 Flammeovirga sp. mbrc-1 균주의 분리 및 한천분해기능의 특성조사

        A novel agar-degrading bacterium mbrc-1 was isolated from seashore of Kyungpo at Gangwon province and cultured in marine broth 2216 medium. Isolated bacterium mbrc-1 was named as Flammeovirga sp. mbrc-1 based on the 16S rDNA sequence. Its agarase showed maximum activity of 923 units/L at pH 7.0 and 45℃ and sustained 90% remaining activity after exposed to 45℃ for 2 hours. The enzyme hydrolyzed agarose to yield neoagarohexaose (18.5%), neoagarotetraose (38%) and neoagarobiose (43.5%), indicating that the enzyme is β-agarase. Thus, isolated bacterium and its β-agarase would be useful for the industrial production of neoagarotetraose and neoagarobiose.
