Purpose: To identify the types and characteristics of subjective structures among nursing students toward individuals who attempt suicide. Methods: A group of 32 third- and fourth-year nursing students with experience in clinical practice rated 35 Q-statements on a nine-point scale according to their opinion. Data analysis was conducted using the PC-Quanl program. Results: Subjectivity among nursing students toward individuals who attempt suicide was analyzed for three types. Type 1 (social responsibility emphasis) subjectivity recognizes the social responsibility for suicide attempts and emphasizes the importance of social support systems as a preventive effort. Type 2 (rational reprimand) subjectivity emphasizes the willpower and effort to overcome challenges in life, because happiness and unhappiness are dependent on one’s thoughts and will. Type 3 (situation acceptance) subjectivity regards the suicide attempt as an optional means to avoid a deeply strenuous, painful, and difficult situation. Conclusion: This study investigated the subjectivity of nursing students toward individuals who attempt suicide and to provide a better understanding of them. In addition, the development of training programs that take advantage of the subjective characteristics of individuals based on subjectivity types demonstrated in this study is expected to provide nursing students with useful educational materials for their future careers as nurses.
온라인 한국어교원 양성과정의 효율성 제고를 위한 연구 : 모의수업에 대한 이해를 중심으로

본 논문의 연구 방향은 다음과 같다. 최근 급격히 증가한 한국어교원의 수요 증가에 따라 온라인을 통한 한국어교원의 배출도 그 숫자가 대폭 늘고 있어 관련 학계의 우려가 높다. 해당 온라인 양성기관인 학점은행제 원격평생교육원의 교과과정 및 운영의 특성을 파악하여 한국어교육실습 교과목 실천 여부를 파악해 보려 한다. 이어 교과목 가운데 강의참관 및 강의실습의 진행 과정에 대한 부실의 우려를 지적하기에 앞서 모의수업의 내실화를 위한 각 요소들이 구체적으로 어떻게 적용되어야 하는가에 주목할 계획이다. 관련 학계나 연구자들의 지적처럼, 한국어교육실습 교과목을 운영 중인 기관에 대해 교과목의 실천 여부를 더욱 강화하고 철저히 관리하는 일을 중시하는 것은 맞다. 그러나 일선 현장을 책임지고 운영해 나가는 담당자의 의견도 반영해야 한다는 점이 또한 강조되어야 할 것이다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 모의수업의 효율성을 제고하는 방안을 찾고자 하였다. 실습수업이란 발표 수행과정이다. 그것은 모의 수업의 모든 것이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본고는 실제적인 모의 수업의 발표수행을 위한 구체적인 방안들을 제시하였다. The research direction of this paper is as follows: In recently the demand of Korean teachers has been increased rapidly, the number of Korean language teachers online has been increased too, This raises concerns in related academic circles. We will try to figure out the characteristics of the curriculum and operation of the Remote Lifelong Education Institute of the Credit Bank System, which is an online training institution, to determine whether korean language training courses are practiced or not. In addition, before pointing out the concerns of the insolvency of the course of lecture syllabus and lecture practice, we firstly plan to pay attention to how each element of the mock lesson should be specifically applied for the internalization. As the academics and researchers have pointed out, it is very important to strengthen and thoroughly manage whether the subject is practiced during the period in which the subject is being taught or not. However, it should also be emphasized that the opinion of the person in charge and operation of the front-line site must also be reflected. In conclusion, this study tried to find a way to suggest the efficiency of mock lessons. Practice class is the process of performing presentation. It is all about the mock class. Therefore, this study presented concrete measures for conducting presentations of the practical mock lessons.
한국 · 중국 · 일본 중학교 영어 교과서의 문화내용 비교분석

이 연구의 목적은 한국 · 중국 · 일본 세 나라의 중학교 내용구성과 문화자료, 행동문화 내용, 문화 배경, 다문화 내용, 배려 내용, 공통 주제를 분석하여 문화교육에 적합한지를 연구하고, 이를 통해 세 나라의 교과서가 지닌 문화 관련 내용을 이해하는 데 있다. 세 나라는 각각 세계 공용어인 영어에 대한 국가 사회적인 필요성에 대한 인식과 교육정책에 따라 영어의 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기 능력 향상에 대한 우선순위에 있어서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한국은 언어의 네 가지 기능인 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기가 골고루 나타나고 있고 문화 내용 면에서도 고른 분포를 나타내고 있지만, 내용의 다양성에서는 부족한 편이다. 중국은 내용 면에서 다양한 주제를 다루고 있으며, 문화 내용 면에서도 고른 분포를 보이고 있다. 일본은 주로 말하기 기능 위주로 나타나 있고, 내용 면에서 두 나라에 비해 다양성이 부족한 편이다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the cultural content of middle school English textbooks used in Korea, China, and Japan whether the cultural content of the textbooks is appropriate for cultural education. Priorities on teaching four language skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing are different in these countries because they have different needs and educational policies on English which is considered as a global language. In Korean textbooks, the ways to improve four language skills appear well distributed, but they lack in cultural diversity. Chinese textbooks represent much more diverse content and distribution of cultural information. Japanese textbooks are mainly focused on improving speaking skills, and in terms of content compared to the two other countries they lack in diversity.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of eye-shields and sleep-inducing music application on sleep quality and incidence of delirium for intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Methods: This study was a untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. The data was collected in the ICU of D University Hospital in Busan, from June to September 2011. Thirteen subjects were assigned to eye-shields and sleep-inducing music intervention and 15 subjects were in the control group. Results: Eye-shields and sleep-inducing music application was effective for improving the quality of sleep in ICU patients. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of delirium between the two groups. Conclusion: The sleep improvement intervention with eye-shields and sleep-inducing music would be a meaningful part of nursing intervention programs to enhance the quality of sleep in ICU patients.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination adoption stages using the Precaution Adoption Process model. Methods: A total of 173 female university students from B metropolitan city participated. Demographics, factors contributing to action, knowledge, health beliefs, and self-efficacy related to the HPV vaccination were measured. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple logistic regression analysis using SPSS for Windows version 21.0. Results: Factors that contributed to the transition from the unaware and unengaged stages to the undecided about action stage included age, economic status, experience of recommendation from doctors, perceived severity of cervical cancer, and perceived barriers. Factors that contributed to the transition from the undecided about action stage to the deciding to act stage were perceived benefit and self-efficacy of the HPV vaccination. Factors that contributed to the transition from the deciding to act stage to the acting and maintenance stages were experience of recommendation from doctors and perceived severity of cervical cancer. Conclusion: These results suggest that aggressive HPV vaccination campaigns increase awareness. Further studies should develop tailored strategies for promoting HPV vaccination that emphasize health beliefs and self-efficacy.
