The purpose of this study is to review the three kinds of bottom-up, top-down and interactive models of reading and suggest an alternative approach to teaching reading called ‘a zoom lens model.’ Over the past two decades, it has been continued to emphasize listening and speaking rather than reading and writing of the English skills. Recently, however, our society requires even stronger literacy abilities due to the age of information technology growth. In the vein of this trend, we need to explore new approaches of reading and apply them to a reading world. Although the existing three models of reading have served useful purposes for reading comprehension, there are some limitations. In particular, the interactive models combining bottom-up and top-down models provide neither a simple, exact model, nor how to teach to practitioners in practice. The zoom lens model, on the other hand, has several benefits. First, it considers learning environments and levels of English learners. Second, its focus is exclusively on learners, not teachers. Third, it can provide how to teach English reading for teachers. Finally, it can be applied to other language skills; writing, listening, and speaking including pronunciation.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the curriculum, English textbooks-and evaluation-related articles in the journal of English Language & Literature Teaching and to suggest its developmental alternative in the future in commemoration of its 20 years of history (1995-2013). A total of 76 curriculum, English textbooks-and evaluation-related papers out of 628 have been published in the last twenty years. The research criteria of this study are as follows: research theme; subjects; research methodology; language use. The results from the review and journal analysis showed that the curriculum-related articles were 25%, textbooks-related articles 26.3% and evaluation-related articles 48.7%. The subjects were from kindergarten to adults. The research methodology was based on the theory and literature review, quantitative, qualitative, and mixed quantitative and qualitative research. The most of research methodology were about the theory and literature review and the quantitative research (94.8%). There were few qualitative researches (1.3%). The articles were written in Korean (57.9%) and English (42.1%). The findings of the study further need to analyze other articles besides the journal of English Language & Literature Teaching in order to get more generalization and objectivity. Through this research, the journal will be able to contribute greatly to the development and orientation of curriculum, English textbooks and evaluation in the future.

거리기반 키스트로크 다이나믹스 스마트폰 인증과 임계값 공식 모델

비밀번호 입력 또는 잠금 패턴을 이용한 사용자 인증은 스마트폰의 사용자 인증 방식으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 하지만 엿보기 공격 등에 취약하고 복잡도가 낮아 보안성이 낮다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 키스트로크 다이나믹스를 인증에 적용하여 복합 인증을 하는 방식이 등장하였고 이에 대한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 하지만, 많은 연구들이 분류기 학습에 있어서 비정상 사용자의 데이터를 함께 사용하고 있다. 키스트로크 다이나믹스를 실제 적용 시에는 정상 사용자의 데이터만을 학습에 사용할 수 있는 것이 현실적이고, 타인의 데이터를 비정상 사용자 학습 데이터로 사용하는 것은 인증자료 유출 및 프라이버시 침해 등의 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 이에 대한 대응으로, 본 논문에서는 거리기반 분류기 사용에 있어서, 분류 시 필요한 임계값의 최적 비율을 실험을 통해 구하고, 이를 밝힘으로써 실제 적용에서 정상 사용자 자료만을 이용하여 학습하고, 이 결과에 최적 비율을 적용하여 사용할 수 있도록 공헌하고자 한다. User authentication using PIN input or lock pattern is widely used as a user authentication method of smartphones. However, it is vulnerable to shoulder surfing attacks and because of low complexity of PIN and lock pattern, it has low security. To complement these problems, keystroke dynamics have been used as an authentication method for complex authentication and researches on this have been in progress. However, many studies have used imposter data in classifier training and validation. When keystroke dynamics authentications are actually applied in reality, it is realistic to use only legitimate user data for training, and using other people`s data as imposter training data may result in problems such as leakage of authentication data and invasion of privacy. In response, in this paper, we experiment and obtain the optimal ratio of the thresholds for distance based classification. By suggesting the optimal ratio, we try to contribute to the real applications of keystroke authentications.

본 연구는 고교-대학 연계 관점에서 대학 학업 적응과 관련된 고교의 교육 경험과 학업 성과를 비교적 최근에 고교에서 대학으로 이동을 경험한 대학생의 인식을 통해 살펴보았다. 이를 위해, 대학 1, 2학년에 재학 중인 30명의 학생을 대상으로 초점집단 면담(FGI)을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 분석 결과, 학생들은 전공계열별 선수교과목으로 간주할 수 있는 교과 학습을 통한 전공기초지식, 국어 교과목을 통해 습득한 기초학습능력, 학생의 적극적 참여를 권장하는 수업방식과 학생주도의 활동을 통해 길러진 주도성, 사회성 등을 대학 수학과 연계되는 고교교육 경험의 지점으로 인식하고 있었다. 각 연계의 지점에서 연계 정도에 대한 인식도 드러났다. 전공기초 지식 습득과의 분명한 연결고리에도 불구하고 고교 교과 이수는 대학 전공 선택과 연계되지 않았고 고교와 대학 교수학습방법의 극명한 차이는 고교-대학이 연계되기보다 단절되어 있다고 인식하는 근거가 되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 고교 교육과정과 대학교육 간의 연계가 아직은 느슨함을 시사하며, 향후 대학 모집 단위 또는 전공을 기준으로 고등학교 선수과목 안내, 대학 교수학습 방법에 대한 사전 안내와 오리엔테이션 강화 등과 같이 고교-대학 교육 간의 연계를 강화하는 개선 노력이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다. This study examined the educational experiences and outcomes of high schools that are perceived to contribute to college readiness and adjustment. To this end, focus group interview (FGI) with 30 college students who recently experienced transition from high school to college were conducted. Our findings showed that communication competencies acquired through taking Korean language courses as well as course-taking relevant to students’ field of study helped in the students’ academic adjustment at college. High school leadership and extracurricular experiences were also perceived to connect to college adjustment by enhancing the students social and human skills. A disconnect between high school and college was also noted: High school course-taking was not guided by the students’ choice of college majors or information on college learning, and education was not well provided. These results suggest that the link between the high school curriculum and college education is yet a loose one.

수자원계획 평가를 위한 의사결정과정에서 유역 내외의 이해관계자 및 의사결정자들의 상충되는 의견들이 수자원의 개발 및 유지관리 계획에 부합하는지의 여부를 판단해야 한다. 이를 위해서는 유역의 수자원 이용과 관리에 영향을 미치는 수문, 수질뿐만 아니라 사회, 경제 및 환경적인 요인들을 고려한 평가지수 및 평가절차가 필요하다. 또한, 의사결정자의 의사결정과정에서 여러 기준 및 속성의 상대적 중요도인 가중치를 정확히 계산하는 것은 만족할 만한 의사결정 결과 또는 최적의 의사결정 결과를 얻기 위해 필수적인 것이므로, 이에 대한 적절한 방법을 제공하는 것은 무엇보다 중요하다. 특히, 의사결정자의 입장에서 여러 가지 대안 중 어떤 것이 자신의 문제해결에 가장 적절한 것인지 알 수 없다면 상당한 혼란이 초래될 수 있으므로 이를 해소할 수 있는 적절한 방법을 마련하는 것은 실질적으로 큰 의의가 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 객관적이고 합리적인 분석을 위해 경제적, 물리적, 그리고 환경적 측면에서 저수지 추가저수량 확보시의 고려사항을 평가항목으로 선정하였으며 평가자의 일관성 확보를 위해 평가항목은 7±2개의 범위에서 최소한의 항목을 선정하였다. 또한, 분석을 위한 응답결과의 신뢰도향상을 위해 대상 저수지의 지형적·환경적·사회적·경제적 특성에 대한 사전지식이 풍부한 수자원 설계 및 관리경력 10년 이상의 전문가그룹을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 뿐만 아니라 수자원 계획수립의 다기준 의사결정문제에 대해서 평가요인에 대한 상대적 중요도인 가중치 결정을 현실적이고 합리적인 내용을 반영할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 평점모형, AHP, FAHP, PROMETHEE 및 PROMETHEE-AHP 혼합모형을 적용하여 각 분석기법별 비교·검토를 통해 기존 의사결정기법의 단점을 개선하고자 하였으며, 농업용 저수지 수자원 계획수립을 위해 안정성, 경제성, 환경성, 사회성 등을 고려한 평가지표를 제시하고 선정된 평가기준에 따라 체계적이고 합리적인 가중치산정 과정을 통해 보다 객관적인 의사결정과정을 제시하고자 한다.
