Tracking and detecting targets by the M/W seeker is affected by the clutter reflecting from the earth's surface. In order to detect the look-down retreating targets, which appear in the sidelobe clutter region, in the M/W seeker of High PRF mode, it is necessary to understand statistical characteristics of the surface sidelobe clutter. Statistical analysis of sidelobe clutter is conducted for several configurations of the surface using data obtained by the CFT (Captive Flight Test) of the M/W seeker in High PRF mode. The probability density function(PDF) fitting is conducted for several configuration and conditions of the surface. PDFs and PDF parameters, which best describe statistical distribution of sidelobe clutter, are estimated.

We designed the multiple scattering points generation system to simulate an actual situation of target signal for high range resolution radar system. This provides replicating the target signals and controlling the status of target signals for radar system. This is composed transmit antenna and multi target generator. Transmit antenna is waveguide array antenna and multi target generator has signal distribution module and control & power module. Multi target generator is able to provide the high isolation and variable output power. Moreover, in order to monitor all output signals of the multi target generator, the flows of signals are programed in control & power module. The performance is demonstrated using experimented results of high range resolution radar.
안테나 빔 내의 두 표적에 대한 각도 추정을 위한 적응형 위상 비교 모노펄스 기법

본 논문에서는 안테나 빔 내의 두 표적에 대하여 표적 간의 간섭(interference) 정도에 따라 적합한 모노펄스 기법을 선택함으로써 각 표적에 대한 더욱 정확한 각도 정보를 추정할 수 있는 적응형 위상 비교 모노펄스 기법(phase-comparison monopulse technique)을 제안하였다. 제안한 기법은 두 표적이 한 퓨리에 빈(Fourier bin)에 존재하지 않는 경우, 기존의 위상 비교 모노펄스 기법을 적용하며, 반대로 두 표적이 정확하게 한 퓨리에 빈에 존재한다면 Zheng이 주장한 각도 추정기법을 적용하여 두 표적의 각도 정보를 추출하도록 한다. 본 논문의 시뮬레이션에서는 안테나 빔 내에 두 점 표적이 존재하는 경우를 가정한 후, 각 표적이 존재하는 거리 빈(range bin)의 차이를 달리함에 따라서 기존의 위상 비교 모노펄스 기법, Zheng 기법의 단순한 수행과 비교하여 제안한 기법이 더 나은 각도 추정 결과를 얻어낼 수 있음을 보인다. In this paper, we introduce an adaptive phase-comparison monopulse technique for angle estimation of two targets in the same antenna beam. The proposed method determines a more suitable technique(between conventional phase comparison monopulse technique and Zheng"s method) based on interference between two targets in Fourier domain. Consequently, regardless of the interference, angles of each individual target can be accurately estimated by means of the proposed method. In simulations, we assumed that two point targets with same velocity are located in the same antenna beam, and the accuracy improvement of the proposed method is verified by using several simulations.

Sepsis still remains the major cause of late morbidity and mortality after severe thermal injury. Numerous studies have shown that severe thermal injury results in major alterations of many aspects of immunity. It has been noted by many studies that cell mediated immunity is most consistently and profoundly suppressed among these immune impairments. Attention has recently been focused on restoring to the normal immune response by use of immunomodualating agents in burned patients. The aim of this experiment is to investigate the changes of immune response by immunomodulating agents;r-interferon and polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid(poly I:C)in severe thermal injury. Lymphocytes were isolated from peripheral blood of burned rats with or without administrations of r-interferon and poly I:C on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 14th postburn days and changes of their subsets were observed and stimulation index were measured after stimulation with mitogens(PHA,Con-A and PWM). Also the lymphocytes from the burned rats were mixed with r-interferon or poly I:C and stimulated with the mitogens in vitro. Status of immune response were evaluated by lymphocyte counts, T cell subset and mitogen stimulation index. The results were as follows; 1. The lymphocyte counts decreased markedly in both the burn control group and all the drug injected groups and there was no statistically significant difference between the both groups. 2. The total T cell decreased in number in both the burn control and drug injected groups. A significant decrease of total T cell appeared at 5th day in the r-interferon injected group, and at 5th and 7th day in the poly I:C injected group. Th to Ts ratio decreased in the burn control group, but there was no significant difference between the burn control and the drug injected groups. 3. PHA, Con-A and PWM stimulation index increased in the burn control groups in comparison with the normal control group. In conclusion, after extensive thermal injury the immune modulating agents had no effect in changes of total lymphocyte count, but the immune response for mitogen stimulation with these agents was changed variable.
