본 논문은 물리적 기반의 가상현실 시스템에서 가상환경을 손쉽게 제작하기 위하여 가상환경 편집기를 설계하고 구현한다. 초기의 가상현실 시스템에서 가상환경을 제작하기 위해서는 프로그램 로드나 텍스트 형식의 환경 파일을 사용자가 직접 입력해야 했다. 하지만 본 논문은 편집 프로그램을 통해 제작중인 가상환경을 실시간으로 확인하면서 마우스 조작과 수치 압력만 으로 가상환경을 제작 할 수 있다. 가상환경 편집기는 가상 객체들을 가상환경에 배치하여 사용자가 체험할 가상환경을 제작하고, 그 객체들의 자원을 관리하는 기능과 각각의 객체에 물리 속성을 부여하여 물리엔진과 연동한다.
Agrobacterium tumefaciens KU12로부터 Octopine형 Ti 및 잠재 플라스미드의 제거에 의한 숙주 개발

Agrobacterium tumefaciens KU12내에 존재하는 240kb 크기으 octopine형 Ti 플라스미드인 pTiKU12와 45kb 크기의 잠재 플라스미드인 pTi12를 제거하여 무독성의 A. tumefaciens 균주를 제조하였다. Octopine형 Ti 플라스미드인 pTiKU12는 고온(37${\circ}C$)에서의 배양과 ethidium bromide가 첨가되어 있는 배지에서의 배양을 각각 실시하여 제거하였으며, 잠재 플라스미드인 pTi12는 pTi12의 복제기원이 클로닝되어 잇는 재조합 플라스믿인 pYWXP와의 비화합성을 이용하여 제거하였다. pYWXP는 ethidium bromide가 첨가되어 있는 배지에서 고온(37${\circ}C$)으로 배양하여 제거하였다. Agrobacterium tumefaciens KU12 contains pTiKU12 (240kb) of the octopine type Ti plamsid and pTi12 (45 kb) of the cryptic plasmid. To make the avirulent A. tumefaciens, the octopine type Ti plasmid, pTiKU12, was cured with elevated temperature (37${\circ}C$) and ethidium bromide (EtBr), respectively. Also the cryptic plasmid, pTi12, was cured by the introduction of recombinant plasmid, pYWXP, made by pTi12 replication origin and pUC19. pYWXP was cured by elevated temperature (37${\circ}C$) and EtBr simultaneously.
식물 호르몬에 의한 옥수수 rbcL mRNA 의 양적 변화

In order to investigate the effects of plant hormones on the quantitative changes in mRNA of maize (Zea mays L.) rbcL, we used GA_3, IAA, ABA and BAP. GA_3 at the concentration of 10^-4 M resulted in decrease in rbcL gene transcript to 62%. IAA decreased the amount of rbcL transcript to about 70% at all the hormone concentrations tested. ABA did not cause a noticeable change in the amount of rbcL transcript, but BAP increased the amount of rbcL transcript to 153% at 10^-8 M and 123% at 10^-5 M, respectively. Thus, it appears that BAP is related to the increase in the amount of rbcL transcript by light.
Polyamine 에 의한 옥수수 Ribosome 의 활성 촉진

As a part of the study on the relation between exogenous polyamines and various components necessary for protein biosynthesis in the germinating maize seeds, the effects of the polyamines on protein biosynthesis and ribosome activity were investigated. The protein biosynthesis activity by S-30 containing all components necessary for protein biosynthesis was increased by exogenous polymaines, spermidine, spermidine, spermine and putrescine. As the concentration of polyamine treated was increased, the optimal Mg^2+ concentration of in vitro poly U-dependent protein synthesis system was gradually reduced. However, the optimal Mg^2+ concentration of poly U-dependent system containing optimal polyamine was 10 mM regardless of the sort of polyamine. It could be infered that polyamines play an important part in protein biosynthesis in the higher plant, and that the role of polyamines take partially the place of Mg^2+ action. The activities of ribosome and S-100 in protein biosynthesis were increased by 46.7% and 17.7% with spermidine, and by 44.1% and 16.2% with spermine, and by 29.1% and 19.3% with putrescine. It could be concluded that the increase of protein biosynthesis by polyamines in mainly owing to the ribosome activation.
Patriot Tracking Device를 이용한 가상현실 엔진 구현

본 연구는 개인용PC에 장착할 수 있는 저가의 가상현실게임 엔진을 설계하고 구현한다. 가상현실 엔진구현에서는 주요한 입출력 장치인 Tracker와 HMD(Head Mounted Display) 그리고 조이스틱과 마우스의 장착이 필수적이다. 가상현실 엔진을 연동하기 위한 입출력 클래스를 설계하고 입력장치로 마우스와 조이스틱, 출력장치로 HMD를 장착하였으며 Tracker의 구현은 상업용 제품인 Polhemus의 Patriot Tracker를 이용하였다.
한국인에서 다변성 D12S391 유전좌의 집단유전학적 연구

The hypervariable short tandem repeat(STR) locus D12S391 was investigated in a Korean population. A total of 14 alleles were detected by size under denaturing conditions in 517 unrelated individuals. To confirm all of the alleles detected in a Korean population, a total of 34 fragments were sequenced. Prior to allele designation, we constructed the allelic ladders containing 11 alleles sequenced in this study. Allele 18 is the most common with a frequency of 0.281 in Koreans, and one variant allele 19.3 which have been confirmed by sequencing, was detected. The observed heterozygosity, the power of discrimination (PD), and the mean exclusion chance (MEC) for the locus D12S392 is 0.781, 0.946 and 0.652 , respectively. No deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium was observed in a Korean population (p=0.557). In the 424 meioses in 105 Korean families confirmed using other 17 STR loci, no mutation was detected in locus D12S391. The STR locus D12S391system is useful both for the analysis identification and parternity.

Allele designation for HumACTBP2 is not yet established while many authors introduced different kinds of designation methods. Here, we are introducing a new allele designation method. We used allelic ladder as an internal size standard on behalf of GS-500ROX and designation of each allele was followed recommendation of DNA commission of International Society of Forensic Hematogenetics(ISFH). This method is considered more reasonable for complex repeat loci like HumACTBP2 than other methods that published before.
