In this study, characteristic of new materials for repairing/reinforcement of sea and underwater structures using urethane were studied experimentally. As a results, following their good result was obtained. Materials and construction methods due to a chemical reaction, so no seams, shape or form, regardless of the variety of civil engineering in the field can be applied. Fast workability, hardening existing concrete compared with 80% in shortening. Than the existing large concrete pouring construction cost could be reduced by more than 30%.
교반조 바닥의 방해판이 유동특성 및 입자부유에 미치는 특성

교반조 바닥에 방해판이 부착된 경우 유동특성 및 입자부유특성을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 입자의 유동상태는 교반 조 바닥 중심으로부터 상승류가 증가하였다. 입자부유 실험으로부터 에크만 경계층의 발달에 의해 입자부유가 촉진됨을 알 았다. 본 실험범위 내에서의 임펠러 및 교반조 바닥 방해판의 최적조건을 다음과 같이 나타내었다. 교반임펠러 최적조건 : n<sub>p</sub>= 6, d/D 0.5, b/d = 0.3, 교반조 바닥 방해판 최적조건 ; n<sub>b</sub>= 6, d<sub>b</sub>= 0.5, b<sub>w</sub>= 0.05 This study examined experimentally the characteristics of the flow pattern and particle suspension in an agitated vessel with a bottom baffle. A flow pattern of the particles was shown to increase the upward flow from the center of the agitated vessel bottom. The suspended particles from the experiment found that the particle suspension was promoted by the development of an Ekman boundary layer. The optimal conditions of the impeller, and the agitated vessel bottom baffle within the experimental range were as follows: Impeller, n<sub>p</sub>= 6, d/D= 0.5 and b/d = 0.3; and bottom baffle, n<sub>b</sub> = 6, d<sub>b</sub>D= 0.5 and b<sub>w</sub>/D= 0.05

A numerical algorithm for three-dimension laminar flow in an agitated vessel was established by using the spherical coordinates. Flow pattern for the double-stage paddle impeller was not dependent upon the distance of among the impeller in the agitated vessels. The numerical simulation of the flow pattern in spherical and cylindrical agitated vessel agree well with the visualization results.

An attempt has been made to examine the highest liquid surface by means of measuring the movement of liquid free surface wave in the agitated vessel wall. Also, Relationship has been investigated between transition frequency, N?? for behavior of liquid free surface and transition frequency for behavior of mass transfer coefficient in the agitated vessel wall. A surface wave is occured within agitated vessel, the highest height of wetted vessel wall, h?? is coincided with the highest liquid surface, h. However the lowest height of wetted vessel, h?? is not descended to lowest liquid free surface, h. The proposed model has been tested sucessfully for the behavior of liquid free surface.<br/>

Food waste is becoming by environmental problem nowdays increasing festinately in Korea during past 10 years. Food waste collected from garbage trucks that is offered in S municipal government that food waste mixs enough, and sewage sludge collected in the country. Composting experiment conditions achieved in the mixture ratio rate that food waste and sewage sludge are each 10:90, 30:70, 50:50, 60:40, 70:30 and 90:10 $wt\%$. The fermentation temperature was $18{\sim}22^{\circ}C$ at the beginning, and then it was sharply increased to $44{\sim}66^{\circ}C$ up to 1 day after fermentation, which was maintained for more than 3 days. Then, it was slowly decreased to $18{\sim}25^{\circ}C$ up to 8 days after fermentation, which was maintained all the time. It could be known from examiation of various conditions, including reaction rate, salinity. carbon/nitrogen(C/N) ratio, temperature, organic substance, etc.. Optimum mixture ratio rate of composting using food waste and sewage sludge was 60:40 $wt\%$.

In order to mixing characteristics of shake mixing, the first is flow patterns in shaking vessels with various geometries are visualized. The second is one means of improving of mixed state in a stirred bioreactor is to optimization of shape on the shaking vessel. The last is an attempt has been developed new shaped on the shaking vessel.

Shake mixing has been widely used in cell culture. The' mixing performance for shake mixing, however, has not been reported quantitatively. The critical circulating frequency and the power consumption for complete suspension of particles, based on the definition of Zwietering, were measured in a shaking vessel containing a solid-liquid system. The critical suspension frequency was correlated by the equation from Baldi's particle suspension model modified with the physical properties of the particles. Critical suspension frequency was correlated as following;<br/> ??<br/> The power consumption at the critical suspension condition in the shaking vessel was less than that in an agitated vessel with impeller.<br/> <br/>

The excess molar enthalpies Hm<SUP>E</SUP> at T=298.15 K and p=101.3 ㎪ of ternary system {1,2-dichloropropane (1,2-DCP) + 1,3-dioxolane+ 1,4-dioxane} were predicted by using the binary contribution model of Radojkovi? with correlated sub-binary Redlich-Kister parameters. Excess partial molar enthalpies Hi<SUP>E</SUP> were also calculated for the binary systems {1,2-dichloropropane + 1,3-dioxolane}, {1,2-dichloropropane + 1,4-dioxane} and {1,3-dioxolane + 1,4-dioxane} using adjustable parameters of Redlich-Kister equation. By extrapolation of excess partial molar enthalpies to infinite dilution, limiting excess partial molar enthalpies Hi<SUP>∞</SUP> of each component were also obtained. The ternary excess molar enthalpies excess partial molar enthalpies of these sub-binary systems have been calculated by using our previously reported results.
