        고기능 자폐 범주성 장애 아동의 SNS 대화 맥락에서 유생성에 따른 이모티콘 표현 능력 및 선호도 분석

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the expression and preference of emoticons according to the animacy between children with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder (HFA) and typically developing children (TD) in SNS contexts. Methods: Twenty-four children (12 HFA, 12 TD) aged from 6 to 10 years participated in the study. The emoticon expression task consisted of facial and object emoticon tasks. SNS conversations of two communicators were provided to children and they were asked to choose one answer from four selection type emotions on screen. Two-way mixed analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to investigate the group differences in the emoticon expression ability according to the animacy in SNS conversations. Results: First, children with HFA showed a significantly lower performance of emoticon expression task than TD children. This finding explains why children with HFA have poorer expression ability of emoticons than those of TD children. However, there was no significant difference in the emoticon type (facial vs. object) according to animacy. Second, children with HFA showed a significantly lower preference on facial emoticons than TD children. Conclusions: These results imply that children with HFA have a weak expression ability of emoticons in SNS contexts. However, in facial emoticon expression tasks, HFA showed significantly higher performance than tasks with object emoticons. In preference tasks of facial emoticons in SNS contexts, HFA showed a significantly lower preference percentage than TD. Therefore, the characteristics of HFA using emoticons in SNS contexts is considered for social communication intervention.

        60세 이상의 한국인에게서 근육량 감소를 예측하는 인자

        Background: The factors for predicting aging-related muscle loss are not clearly identified. The aim of this study is to examine factors associated with muscle loss in Korean older adults. Methods: We assessed 329 subjects aged 60 years and older who participated in the health checkup programs twice in one to two years’ time period. Muscle loss group was defined as those with 5% or more decrease in fat-free mass. The biomarkers were compared between the muscle loss and non- loss groups adjusting for potential confounders. Results: The number of subject in muscle loss group was 30 (9.1%). Serum albumin concentration was significantly lower in the muscle loss group than that in the non-loss group. Based on the ROC curve results, serum albumin was the predictor of muscle loss (Area Under Curve=0.656). Multivariate regression results presented the odds ratio of 1 standard deviation of baseline albumin level for the muscle loss was 0.446 (95% confidence intervals 0.271-0.734, P=0.001). Conclusion: Baseline serum concentrations of albumin may be a significant indicator to predict muscle mass loss in Korean adults aged 60 years and older.

        Apios fortunei, Colubrina arborescens, Croton caudatus, Osmanthus matsumuranus, 그리고 Schima noronhae를 포함하는 5종 식물 추출물의 항산화 활성

        본 연구에서는 식물자원으로부터 생리활성을 보유한 새로운 기능성 소재를 찾고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수종의 식물 추출물을 분석하여 강한 항산화능을 보유한 5종(Apios fortunei Maxim., Colubrina arborescens Sarg., Croton caudatus Geiseler, Osmanthus matsumuranus Hayata 그리고 Schima noronhae Reinw.)을 선별하고, 각 추출물의 항산화 활성을 시험관 분석법, 세포실험 모델계, 대상 단백질 발현 분석 등을 통해 평가하였다. 먼저 각 추출물의 항산화 활성을 DPPH 라디칼 소거능을 통해 분석한 결과 모두 양성 대조군으로 사용한 아스코르빈산과 유사한 정도의 높은 활성을 보여 각 소재가 매우 강한 항산화능을 보유함을 확인하였다. 또한 RAW 264.7 세포주에서 H₂O₂에 의해 유도된 ROS에 대한 각 추출물의 소거능을 분석한 결과에서도 농도의존적인 강한 소거능을 보였다. 뿐만 아니라 대표적인 항산화효소 중 하나로 항산화능 보유 천연물에 의해 발현이 유도되는 HO-1 및 그 전사인자인 Nrf2의 단백질 발현이 각 추출물의 처리에 의해 증가됨을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 5종 식물 추출물의 강한 항산화 활성을 처음으로 확인하였으며 향후 기능성 소재로서 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study was orchestrated with the purpose of uncovering new nutraceutical resources possessing biological activities in the plant kingdom. To fulfill our objective, we analyzed several plant extracts and selected five species possessing powerful anti-oxidative activity. The anti-oxidative effect of these five plants, Apios fortunei Maxim., Colubrina arborescens Sarg., Croton caudatus Geiseler, Osmanthus matsumuranus Hayata and Schima noronhae Reinw. ethanol extracts were then evaluated by using in vitro assay, cell model system, and Western blot analysis of target proteins. As the results, all of them possessed the potent scavenging activity against 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH), similar with that of ascorbic acid, used as a common positive control. Moreover, they strongly inhibited hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂)-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS), in a dose-dependent manner, in RAW 264.7 murine macrophage cells. Furthermore, they induced the protein expression of an anti-oxidative enzyme, heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1), and its upstream transcription factor, nuclear factor-E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2). Taken together, these results indicate that these five plants possess potent anti-oxidative activity and thus appear to be useful sources as potential anti-oxidant agents. Therefore, they might be utilized as promising materials in the field of nutraceuticals.

        인공피부모델 KeraSkinTM을 이용한 유전독성 평가

        소핵시험은 세포분열 단계 중 간기 세포의 세포질 내 소핵 유무를 조사함으로써 유전독성을 평가하는 시험법이다. 최근 화장품 안전성 평가에 동물실험을 금지하거나 최소화하려는 노력이 확산되고 있어 유전독성 평가에 있어서도 기존의 동물실험이 아닌 새로운 in vitro 시험법이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 배양인공피부모델인 KeraSkin<sup>TM</sup>을 이용하여 도포 처치된 물질의 유전독성을 평가하였다. 2종의 유전독성물질인 mitomycin C (MMC)와 methyl methanesulfonate (MMS)는 농도 의존적으로 세포독성과 소핵 형성이 유도된 반면, 대조물질인 4-nitrophenol (4-NP)와 trichloroethylene (TCE)에서는 농도 의존적으로 세포독성은 관찰되었으나 소핵은 형성되지 않았다. 따라서 인공피부모델을 이용한 소핵시험이 화장품과 같은 피부적용물질의 in vitro 유전독성 평가에 유용할 것으로 사료된다. Micronucleus test is genotoxicity assay for detection of micronuclei in the cytoplasm of interphase cells. The reduction and replacement of in vivo toxicity testing on animals require the development of in vitro models to predict the genotoxicity or other tests for cosmetic products. In this study, we evaluated a genotoxicity assay for topically applied chemicals using a three-dimensional human reconstructed skin model, KeraSkinTM. Two genotoxins, mitomycin C (MMC) and methyl methanesulfonate (MMS), induced significant dose-related increases in cytotoxicity and micronuclei induction in the skin model. In contrast, two non-genotoxins, 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) and trichloroethylene (TCE), induced cytotoxicity but not micronucleus formation. In conclusion, micronucleus test using human skin model may be useful for predicting in vitro genotoxic potentials of cosmetic products.

        모즈 미세도식수술로 치료한 손톱 밑 편평세포암 4예

        Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the nail bed is rare, and it usually mimics a variety of diseases. Thus, a true diagnosis of subungual SCC may be delayed for years. The appearance of a subungual tumor at presentation is often non-diagnostic, and exploratory nail-plate removal with biopsy is recommended. We have experienced four patients with subungual SCC, and they were treated by Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS). In an average follow-up of 13.5 months, there was no recurrence in all cases. However, in one case, amputation was performed due to local periosteal invasion. In cases of subungual SCC without bone involvement, particular virtue of MMS over amputation is that it permits the preservation of both function and cosmesis of the nail unit. Since the maintenance of function is of the utmost priority, MMS can be considered the most appropriate technique, as it enables us to maximize the preservation of normal anatomy of the finger.         한포열천(寒包熱喘)으로 진단된 천식환자 1례

        Objectives : A 55-year-old male patient whose symptoms were not improved by western drugs(including steroids) was hospitalized in Korean medical hospital for 22 days. Methods : This patient was diagnosed as Han-po-yeol(寒包熱) and treated with herbal decoctions, acupuncture, and moxibustion. And he answered the quality of life questionnaire for adult Korean asthmatics (QLQAKA) at 1st, 15th, and 22th day of hospitalization. Results : After 2 weeks herbal medical treatment, score of QLQAKA was increased by 0.53 point. Conclusion : This result suggest that Korean medical treatment has the potential for asthma patients who did not responded to western drugs.

        코퍼스 기반 러시아어 명사양화구문의 ‘아래’ 지향적 은유 연구

        본 논문은 러시아어의 ‘아래’ 지향적 은유 및 환유에 관한 분석으로 양화어로 전이돼 사용되는 명사 어휘 бездна, пропасть, прорва ‘심연’을 중심으로 명사양화구문의 개념적 은유 및 환유와 문법화 과정을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 아래로의 지향성을 갖는 어휘 бездна, пропасть, прорва는 18세기 이전부터 그릇 은유, 감정 관련 은유 및 환유를 기반으로 광범위하게 사용되었다. 이러한 어휘들은 명사양화구문에서 적음과 관련된 수직적 이미지 스키마를 갖지만, 끝없는 깊이가 적음이 아닌 많음으로 개념화되어 생산적으로 사용되었다. 논문에서는 куча뿐만 아니라 бездна, пропасть, прорва가 양화구문으로 문법화되었으나, 점차 위로의 지향성을 갖는 어휘가 집중적으로 선택되어 사용됨에 따라 아래로의 지향성을 갖는 어휘의 사용이 제한되는 과정을 코퍼스 예문 분석을 통해 고찰하고 있다. This study is devoted to ‘Down’ orientational metaphor and metonymy in Russian, focusing on the nouns бездна, пропасть, and прорва ‘the abyss’ of the nominal quantitative constructions. The purpose of this study is to examine conceptual metaphors and metonymy, also the process of grammaticalization in the бездна, пропасть, and прорва constructions. The down orientational words бездна, пропасть, and прорва have been used extensively at least since the 18<sup>th</sup> century, based on the container metaphor, emotion metaphor, and metonymy. The down orientational words have a vertical image schema in the nominal quantitative constructions, but ‘endlessness in depth’ conceptualized it as a lot of, not a little, and was productively used. Based on corpus analysis, this study shows that not only куча, but also бездна, пропасть were both grammaticalized on the metaphorical conception of vertical images ‘upward’ and ‘downward,’ but куча constructions have been sharply developed from the tendency of the selection of the words with the upward orientation.
