The Boundary Element Method(BEM) is a technique which offers important advantage over "domain" type problem such as FEM and FDM. Lately, in nonlinear problems like elasto-plastic, the method to divide the region in expectation of plastic deformation and to add the unknown nodal displacements of this region into the unknown of boundary integral equations was suggested. In this paper, the initial stress method was used to establish the formulation of Boundary Element Method on elasto-plastic problem. And to prove the appropriateness of this method, rectangular plate having a circular hole was analyzed and compared with the result of FEM.

To achieve Digital Mock-Up(DMU) in shipbuilding for design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and maintenance, it is necessary to research for applying CAD/CAM 3-D solid modelling and virtual reality and related information technologies. DMU offers functions in retrieving design information and in visualizing the ship structure which is either the entire ship or only the individual process systems or components. Using the 3~D virtual ship model based on standard web technologies such as XML and Active X. DMU gives the opportunity to virtually walk around and fly through in the ship while it is being designed to structural safety, manufacturai possibility and access for maintenance are sufficiently considered. In this paper, we propose DMU for shipbuilding education system which present ship structural details that is easy for students to understand effectively and clearly. For constructing the DMU in shipbuilding education and disciplines, it is important to convert the compact protocol information, which is geometry and product data, from shipbuilding CAD model using XML parser. Educating of the ships through DMU, the students of naval architecture, the ship operators and maintenance staff have the opportunities to make virtual walk around visits to the operation and maintenance locations and to understand various structural and outfitting systems. Also, during the building of the ship, the student can be trained the process of ship design and production through DMU including product model data, not necessary to access the dangerous building site.
다방향 불규칙파중의 인장계류식 해양구조물의 구조응답 해석

다방향 불규칙파 중에서의 인장계류식 해양구조물(TLP)의 구조응답 해석을 수행함으로써 다방향 불규칙파가 구조응답에 미치는 영향을 평가하고 있다. 인장계류식 해양구조물에 작용하는 파강제력과 동유체력은 3차원 특이점분포법을 사용하여 각각의 외각요소에 대해 평가하였다. 3차원 골조요소로 모델링하여 유한요소법에 의해 구조응답을 평가하였으며, 인장계류식 해앙구조물의 각 외각요소간의 유체역학적 상호간섭을 고려하여 구조응답을 해석하였다. 구조응답의 주파수 응답함수와 다방향파의 스펙트럼을 이용하여 다방향 불규칙파에 대한 해양구조물의 구조응답 스펙트럼을 구하여 다방향 불규칙파가 인장계류식 해양구조물의 구조응답에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. A numerical procedure is described for estimating the effects of the multi-directional irregular waves on the structural responses of the Tension Leg Platform (TLP). The numerical approach is based on a three dimensional source distribution method for hydrodynamic forces, a three dimensional frame analysis method for structural responses, in which the superstructure of TLP is assumed to be flexible instead of rigid. Hydrodynamic and hydrostatic forces on the submerged surface of a TLP have been accurately calculated by excluding the assumption of the slender body theory. The hydrodynamic interactions among TLP members, such as columns and pontoons, and the structural damping are included in structural analysis. The spectral description used in spectral analysis of directional waves for the linear system of a TLP in the frequency domain is sufficient to completely define the structural responses. This is due to both the wave inputs and responses are stationary Gaussian random process of which the statistical properties in the amplitude domain are well known. The numerical results for the linear motion responses and tension variations in regular waves are compared with the experimental and numerical ones, which are obtained in Yoshida et al.(1983). The results of comparison confirmed the validity of the proposed approach.

A Factory/Production Facilities Automation involves compound techniques as well as various applied engineering fields. Therefore, there exist lots of difficult problems related with its introduction, operation and management in small and medium scale companies. In this paper, we extract major contents for its effective traininng program reflected from industrial needs and propose a prototype model for the enhancement of its field capabilites. 공장 생산설비 자동화 분야는 다양한 기반기술을 응용하는 분야이다. 중소기업의 입장에서 보면, 공장 생산설비 자동화분야와 관련된 많은 애로 사항이 있다. 본 연구에서는 공장 생산설비 자동화 인력의 효율적인 양성을 위하여 자동화 관련분야의 세부과제들을 현장중심으로 도출하여 현장적응력을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육모형을 제시하고 제작하였다.
