        성인여성의 생활한복 디자인 인식에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the satisfaction, practical use, preference in design and recognition of the Saenghwalhanbok in the adult females living in Gyeongnam province. The data used for this study were collected by questionnaires and 420 questionnaires were used for statistic analysis. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS 8.0 to perform the ANOVA, X²-test, t-test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; Most women have Saenghwalhanbok for wearing in festivedays. who showed good impression on the Saenghwalhanbok is high-educated people, and high-incommer showed positive preference as well. The color of blouse and skirt is different each other. The most preference color is soft color. The purchasing behavior on the Saenghwalhanbok was verified that there are planning of purchase because of convienience in wearing. The primary reason for not buying Saenghwalhanbok is price. So the goods of various level of price should be prepared, and the preference factors of purchasing for younger ages were color, patterns and design, and for oldages were quality of clothes, colors and patterns. Major application of the Saenghwalhanbok was found that wearing for festive days as it is Korean traditional costume.

        남·녀 고등학생의 심리적특성과 의복행동에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to identify egocentrism, self-consciousness, and body cathexis between Boys' and Girls' high school students. It helps us to understand them. Also we investigated the correlation between psychological characteristics and clothing behavior of high school students. The questionnaire were administered to 630 boys' and girls' high school students living in Jinju, Gyeongnam, and the data were analyzed by Frequency, Factor Analysis, Pearson's Product Moment Correlation, ANOVA, Multiple Regression Analysis and Duncan test. Egocentrism of high school boys and girls showed middle levels of mean and distribution, and sympathy was the highest at coeducation high School whereas a sense of justice was the highest at boys' high school. Self-consciousness was high level at both boys' and girls' high school, but public self-consciousness was higher than personal one. Both of them were higher in girls' than in boys'. Also body satisfaction was a little high and boys satisfied with their faces, busts, and whole body more than girls. There were significant differences among dressing for others, clothing interest, psychological dependence, exhibition except conformity. Girls have dressing for others, clothing interest, and exhibition more than boys. There were significant positive correlations among dressing for others, clothing interest, psychological dependence, and conformity whereas exhibition was negatively related to clothing behavior. Public self-consciousness, appearance, and popularity were the most influential variables to dressing for others. Also gender was proved to be one of the most influencing factors on students' clothing behavior.

        The aim of this study is to suggest some theoretical bases which are necessary to find out effective ways in high school students' acquiring proper purchasing methods and leading their daily life as wise consumers. Major results obtained from the research are as follows: 1) The motive of purchasing clothes The hightest motive of purchasing clothes is to match with clothes they have, irrespectively of the regipnal group and the distinction of sex. 2) The plan to purchase clothes Many of them buy clothes with plans and they seldom buy clothes without any plans. When good quality products have low prices they buy clothes implusively. 3) The information for purchasing clothes They get much more information about clothes when they go shopping. In case of shopping companion, most studen answered that their favorite, shopping companion are their friends. 4) Purchasing methods They spend 30 minutes to 1 hour on an average in shopping. They often buy clothes at direct sales or agent stores for well-known brands. When they buy clothes, they pay the fixed prices and they do not insist discount. They buy 3 or 4 suits of clothes a year. 5) The factors which make students decide to buy clothes When they buy clothes, design is the most important factor. They prefer black color, a moderate design and a check design. Many of them in cities and rural areas prefer well-known brand clothes. 6) In the satisfaction after purchasing The satisfaction after purchasing clothes, the results of ANOVA show significant difference in main effect according to regions and sexs, But there is not significant difference in the interaction.
