목적: 파열된 전방 십자인대 잔류 조직내 기계적 수용기의 존재 여부를 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 전방 십자인대 파열 환자 21명에서 전방 십자인대 재건술시 경골 부착부 잔류 조직을 떼어 내었다. 대조군으로 각각 32세와 41세 남자의 외상성 대퇴 상부 절단 시 얻은 정상 전방 십자인대 2예를 대상으로 하였다. 떼어낸 표본을 급속동결 후 40㎛ 두께로 연속 절편하였다. 잔류 조직의 총 절편수는 1,502개, 대조군의 총 절편수는 264개였다. 각 절편에 면역조직화학염색을 한 후 광학 현미경하에 신경섬유와 기계적 수용기를 관찰하고 수와 위치를 분석하였다. 잔류 조직에서는 기계적 수용기가 보이는 군과 보이지 않는 군 간의 수상 후 수술까지의 기간과 평균 절편 수를 비교하였다. 통계적 분석은 independent sample tset-t를 이용하였다. 결과: 잔류 조직에서는 총 21예 중 7예에서 총 107개가 발견되었다. 두개의 대조군 인대에서는 총 19개의 기계적 수용기가 관찰되었고, 분포는 경골 및 대퇴골 부착부에 고루게 분포하였다. 기계적 수용기가 보이는 군(7예)과 보이지 않는 군(14예)간의 나이와 평균 절편수 및 수상 후 기간에 따른 차이는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 결론: 파열된 전방 십자인대 잔류 조직내 기계적 수용기의 존재는 임상적으로 전방십자인대 재건술시 잔류조직 보존의 필요성을 시사해주는 결과라 생각한다. Purpose: This study was performed to identify the presence of mechanoreceptors in the tibial remnants of injured anterior cruciate ligaments (ACLs) in human knees by immunohistochemistry. Materials and Methods: Twenty-one specimens of tibial remnants of ACLs from patients with ACL ruptures were obtained during arthroscopic ACL reconstruction procedures. As a control, two normal ACL specimens were taken from healthy men at the time of traumatic above the knee amputations. The ACL specimens were serially frozen-sectioned at a thickness of 40 ㎛. The average number of sections from each specimen was 71.5 (total 1,502) in the remnant group and 132 (total 264) in the control group. Immunohistochemical staining was used for detection of the neural elements. The mechanoreceptors were identified under a light microscope and their locations and amounts were recorded. An independent sample t-test was used for analysis. Results: In the remnants of the ACLs, ten mechanoreceptors were identified in 7 (33.3%) out of 21 cases. Nineteen mechanoreceptors were detected in the two normal ACLs, which demonstrated an even distribution at both the tibial and femoral attachments. There was no significant difference between the MR-present group (7 cases) and the MR-absent group (14 cases) with respect to the number of sections, age, and time from injury to surgery. Conclusion: The identification of mechanoreceptors in the remnants of ruptured ACL specimens could support the necessity for the preservation of the tibial remnant during ACL reconstruction to improve joint proprioception.

In The Tempest, act II scene i, when Sebastian with the help of Antonio dares to accuse King Alonso, foreshadowing the later regicide attempt, Gonzalo abruptly reveals his Utopian ideas concerning the "commonwealth" he would create on the isolated island. This paper argues that Gonzalo's speech on the commonwealth is a direct criticism of the German Anabaptists, widely known for their violent uprising of 1534 at MUnster in Westphalia. The Anabaptists, with their doctrine of a classless communist society, were also notorious throughout Europe for their polygamy and promiscuity at Munster. The doctrine of the Anabaptists and Gonzalo's theory of a commonwealth are analogical, as Shakespeare's contemporaries must have recognized. The commonwealth passage is based on Montaigne's "Of the Cannibals," in which the author privileges a primitivistic view over one that upholds social law and custom. But Gonzalo (and Shakespeare) shows his orthodox Renaissance belief by making his own speech self-contradictory and humorous, teasing the hierarchy breakers.

이 논문의 주제는 칼뱅 신학의 핵심적인 신에 대한 개념이 “자에는 자로”의 안젤로 성격 형성과 관계가 있다는 것이다. 칼뱅의 대표저서 “기독교리”와 그 외의 저서에 나타나는 핵심은, 신은 인간의 구원이나 징벌을 이미 예정해 놓았고, 그의 결정은 지극히 신만에 의한 임의적 결정이며, 신이 대리로 세운정권은 비록 잘못이 있다하더라도 다른 인간을 처벌하기 위한 신의 도구로 사용되었다는 것이다. 르네상스 시대에 청교도를 지칭하는 “precise”로 표현된 안젤로의 성격은 이러한 칼뱅의 신의 개념을 단순화시키면서 의인화한 것이다. 이는 셰익스피어 시대에 연극을 죄악시했던 청교도에 대한 작가의 비난이 들어있다고 볼 수 있겠다.

다빈치 프로세서 기반 스마트 카메라에서의 객체 추적 알고리즘의 최적 구현

다빈치 프로세서는 임베디드 멀티미디어 응용 구현 프로세서로 많이 사용된다. ARM 9 코어 및 DSP 코어의 듀얼 코어로 되어 있어 ARM 코어에서는 주변 장치 제어, 비디오 입출력 제어, 네트워킹 등을 지원하며, DSP 코어는 보다 효율적인 디지털 신호 처리 연산을 지원한다. 본 논문에서는 본 저자들의 연구실에서 만들고 있는 다빈치 프로세서 기반의 스마트 카메라에 있어서 객체 추적 알고리즘의 최적 구현 방안 노력을 기술한다. 본 논문의 스마트 카메라는 입력 영상에서 관심 객체를 검출하고 이를 추적하며, 분류하고 감시 구역에 침입한 경우 이를 IP 프로토콜로 원격 클라이언트에게 통보하는 기능을 보유한다. 객체 추적은 전방 마스크 추출, 전방 마스크 교정, 연결 요소 레이블링, 블롭 지역 계산 등 계산량이 많은 절차들로 구성되어 효율적으로 구현되지 않으면 실시간 처리가 힘들다. Da Vinci processors are popular media processors for implementing embedded multimedia applications. They support dual core architecture: ARM9 core for video I/O handling as well as system management and peripheral handling, and DSP C64+ core for effective digital signal processing. In this paper, we propose our efforts for optimal implementation of object tracking algorithm in DaVinci-based smart camera which is being designed and implemented by our laboratory. The smart camera in this paper is supposed to support object detection, object tracking, object classification and detection of intrusion into surveillance regions and sending the detection event to remote clients using IP protocol. Object tracking algorithm is computationally expensive since it needs to process several procedures such as foreground mask extraction, foreground mask correction, connected component labeling, blob region calculation, object prediction, and etc. which require large amount of computation times. Thus, if it is not implemented optimally in Davinci-based processors, one cannot expect real-time performance of the smart camera.

In Paradise Lost Milton does not allow Christ to say the phrase "I am." I believe that this was done deliberately by Milton because of his beliefs concerning Christ which are stated in "De filio" of De Doctrina Christiana, and because of his knowledge of the Hebrew language which enabled him to understand the meaning of the phrase "I am" as it is used in the Old Testament by its writers when recording God in the first person as saying "I am that I am" to identify himself. Milton`s beliefs about Christ are well stated in the "De filio": Christ is not God, nor is he co-essential, coeval or of the same numerical essence as God. The basis for Milton`s argument of Christ`s subjection to and difference from God rests in scriptures: John 10:29, 17:3, for examples. Since Jesus uses "I am" several times in the New Testament, Milton could have let the Son use "I am" in his epic. Especially in John 8:58 ("Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am") Jesus uses "I am" to identify himself as God. This phrase is very crucial to the trinitarianism debate, but in "De filio" there is no mention about this important Bible clause: Milton purposely avoids mentioning it. I think that then it is natural for Milton not to permit Christ use "I am." I also think that there are some places in the epic where Milton could have used "I am" for Christ, but he did not: "... where with mee / All my redeem`d may dwell in joy and bliss, / Made one with me as I with thee am one" (11.42-44), as an example. 3.245-6 could be another example for this. God himself in Paradise Lost uses "I am." In 6.680ff, God talks to the Son mentioning the difference between them, and the phrase "I am" indicates God: "Effulgence of my Glory, Son belov`d, / Son in whose face invisible is beheld / Visibly, what by Deity I am, / And in whose hand what by Decree I do, / Second Omnipotence..." In "De filio" Milton, referring to Colossians 1:15 and John 5:19, points out his anti-trinitarianism and almost repeats his view here in the epic. 7.163-69, 8.16-18 could be other evidences for my claim.

이 연구는 질문이 학습 목표 도달을 위해 교사가 사용하는 주요 교수 전략이고, 교사의 질문은 학습자가 질문을 생성하는 데 영향을 미친다는 점에 주목하여, 질문 연속체 설계 방안을 살피는 것을 목적으로 한다. 국어과에서의 질문 연속체는 학습자가 언어자료를 토대로 의미를 구성하거나 자신이 표현하고자 하는 의미를 구성하도록 지도하기 위해 특별히 고안한 일련의 질문 목록이며, 목표지향적이고 연속적인 속성을 지닌다. 질문 연속체는 그 목적에 따라 점검을 위한 확인 질문, 촉진을 위한 연결 질문, 메타질문으로 범주화가 가능하다. 확인 질문은 이해와 관련된 선언적 지식, 절차적 지식, 언어 자료를 점검하는 질문, 적용과 관련된 조건적 지식의 활용에 대한 내용을 점검하는 질문으로 세분화할 수 있다. 촉진을 위한 질문은 지식 간의 연결, 지식과 수행의 연결, 수행 간의 연결을 촉진하는 질문으로 세분화가 가능하다. 메타 질문은 학습 목표와 직접 관련된 메타적 점검 질문과 목표와 직접적으로 관련이 없는 메타적 점검 질문으로 나눌 수 있다. 그리고 질문 연속체의 설계 원리를 모듈화, 단계적 구조화, 세분화와 상세화로 제시하고 그 예를 살펴보았다. 이 연구를 통해 교사는 질문 연속체 설계의 중요성과 방법을 이해하고 질문 설계 능력을 신장시키는 기회를 제공받게 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is to explore a design method of questioning sequences. Questioning sequences is a list of questions systematically designed to reach teaching-learning objectives, and has a goal-oriented and continuous property. Confirmation questions are subdivided into questions that check declarative knowledge, procedural knowledge, and text in relation to understanding and that check conditional knowledge in relation to application. Questions for facilitation are subdivided into questions that promote the connection between knowledge, connection between knowledge and performance, and connection between performance. Meta questions are divided according to their direct relevance to the learning objectives. The design principles of the questioning sequences are presented in modularization, stepwise structuring, subdivision and detailing.
