경승용차용 5밸브(흡기3밸브) 가솔린 엔진의 연소실 형상 설계 기술에 관한 연구

For the purpose of development of high performance gasoline engine, the design technique of the 5-valve(3 intake valves) combustion chamber for a subcompact vehicle has been studied. 3 intake valves cylinder heads were designed by using a 3-dimension CAD program, and steady state flow experiments have been performed with these model. The 5-valve engines, which have larger valve opening areas, have larger intake flow rates and higher flow coefficient than the 4-valve engines. The effects of intake port design parameters of a 5-valve engine on the intake flow rate and bore size were studied, and the design guidelines for the 5-valve engine were established.
레이저 굴절법을 이용한 LPG와 가솔린 연료의 화염전파 특성에 관한 연구

For the purpose of obtaining fundamental data which is needed to develope combustion system of LPG engine, we made constant volume chamber and analyzed flame propagation characteristics under different intial temperature, initial pressure and equivalence ratio which affect combustion of LPG. We investigated flame propagation speed of each fuel using laser deflection method and compared with the investigated flame propagation speed of each fuel using laser deflection method and compared with the results of image processing of flame. As a result, the maximum flame propagation speed was found at equivalence ratio 1.0 and 1.1 for LPG and gasoline, respectively. In the lean region, we can see that flame propagation speed of LPG surpasses that of gasoline. On the contrary, flame propagation speed of gasoline surpasses LPG in the rich region. As initial temperature and initial pressure were higher, flame propagation speed was faster. And, as equivalence ratio was larger and initial temperature was higher, combustion duration was shorter and maximum combustion pressure was higher.
이색 PIV 기술을 이용한 5밸브 가솔린엔진 연소실 내의 유동특성 분석

A 5-valve(intake 3-valve) engine has been developed to increase engine performance. These engines have a high power caused by the decrease of inertia mass of an intake valve and the increase of intake effective area. In this study, in-cylinder flow patterns were visualized with laser sheet method and velocity profiles at near intake valves were inspected by using a two-color PIV. In addition, steady flow tests were performed to quantify tumble ratio of flow-fields generated by a tumble control valve(TCV). Experimental results of steady flow test show that the cure of tumble ratio in intake 3-valve engine farmed as a S shape with valve lift changes. This tendency is different from the one in intake 2-valve engine. Using laser sheet method and two color PIV method, we can find that the intake flow through upper valve increases and the velocity gradient also slightly increases as valve lift increases. From this study, the in-cylinder flow characteristics around intake valves were made clearly.
사회심리학적인 요인들, 흡연습관, 운동습관이 음주운전 의도에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 음주운전으로 인한 자동차 사고를 줄이기 위한 방법으로 음주운전의 의도에 영향을 주는 여러 가지 요인들을 조사하였다. 본 논문에서는 흡연습관과 운동습관과 같은 운전자의 생활방식뿐만 아니라 사회심리학적인 요인들을 조사에 포함시켰다. 조서결과 음주운전자의 사회심리학적인 특성 중에서 행동통제력지각이 음주운전의 의도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고, 뒤이어 음주운전의 의도에서 흡연습관, 운동습관 등의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 흡연습관과 운동습관과 같은 운전자의 생활방식이 음주운동에 대한 태도나 주관적인 규정보다 음주운전의 의도에 더 큰 영향을 미친다는 것으로 해석될 수 있다. 따라서 음주운전자 교육과정에 금연습관과 운동습관을 포함시킴으로서 음주운전을 감소시킬 수 있도록 프로그램을 개선하여야 한다. The purpose of this paper was to investigate various factors influencing the intentions of drink-driving from multiple perspectives, in order to uncover ways to reduce the number of motor accidents caused by drink-driving. We examined sociopsychological aspects as well as driver's life styles such as smoking habit and exercise habit. Perception of behaviour controls among drink-driver' sociopsychological characteristics had the highest influence on the intentions of drink-driving, followed by influence of smoking and exercise on the intentions of drink-driving. This finding indicates that driver' life style such as smoking habit or exercise habit influences more on the intentions of drink-driving than attitude toward drink-driving or subjective regulations, which affirms that driver' life style such as smoking habit or exercise habit has significant effects on the intentions of drink-driving. Therefore, it is concluded that rehabilitative curriculum for drink-drivers should include a program to diminish drink-driving through nonsmoking and exercise habit.
