This paper proposes a machine learning based method to predict the ‘queue-time’ of a target lot with time-constraints among processing steps. Since time-constraints among processing steps exist for quality assurance, it is very important to meet the time-constraints in Fab operations. To do so, we need to have an accurate prediction model for the ‘queue-time’ of a target lot. This paper identifies two categories of predictor variables; 1) work-in-process related variables, and 2) dispatching rule related variables. Since the quality of the prediction model depends on the quality of predictor variables, we need to carefully select predictor variables by considering their explanatory powers and multi-collinearities among them. In this paper, we employ the genetic algorithm for the section of best predictor variables. The prediction model is a fully-connected deep learning model, and the demonstration shows the performance of the model.

This paper proposes a methodology for the effective maintenance planning of traffic signal controllers, which are important for the safety of vehicles and pedestrians. For the effective maintenance planning, it is necessary to estimate the lifespan of a traffic signal controller. Since a traffic signal controller operates outdoors, the lifespan depends on the environmental factors including temperature, humidity, and salinity. We devise a deep learning model to estimate the lifespan of a traffic signal controller by using environmental conditions. The proposed maintenance planning methodology computes the optimal maintenance period which provides the lowest maintenance cost.

The trailer coupling device of passenger car has to be passed safety and durability test requirements for customer’s satisfaction. To meet the requirements, trailer coupling device test with a car is essential. Many car manufacturers perform this car test which may cause expensive improvements, time-consuming and long development times. Naturally, developing an alternative method is required and Multi-axial durability test method of Trailer coupling device by applying CARLOS TC can be a smart solution for that.
건설현장 안전관리체계에 관한 관리자 및 근로자의 의식조사에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to draw basic information about construction supervisors' and workers' consciousness in order to develop an effective safety management system in construction site: The study has been performed by a questionnaire survey in Seoul and Kyunggi province. The results of this study are as follows: 1. supervisors and workers agreed that existing safety inspection is very effective to site operation, in addition follow-up measures after safety inspection is investigated as very necessary to workers. 2. the person who should be in charge of safety education in worker's view point is surveyed as the following order. industrial disaster victims(43.6%), a construction manager(21.3%) and safety manager(18.1%). 3. most of works have dissatisfaction about leadership of supervisors as well as performance and quality of safety protectors.

The purpose of this study is to draw basic information about existing housing finance & supply system in order to establish a correct housing policy for the future. The study has been performed by questionnaire survey in Seoul and Kyunggi province. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Dissatisfaction on housing finance through questionnaire survey shows; high interest on a loan(42.7%), complex conditions for a loan(25.4%) and complex loan procedure(14.3%). 2. 57.8% answered $quot;Negligence of the existing housing supply system$quot;, it means the low understanding of the housing supply system.
건설공사의 재시공 현황에 대한 원인분석 및 개선안에 관한 연구 : 공동주택의 공조공사를 중심으로 한 조사 및 사례연구

This study aims to provide some efficient and effective ways to prevent reconstruction. For this study, the analysis on the current situation and various causes of reconstruction has been performed by using questionnaire survey and case studies from construction sites. The results of this study are as follows: 1.Causes of reconstruction occurrence through case studies show construction inability including technician' idleness(42.2%), misunderstanding of specification(26.7%) and imperfect specification(15.6%). 2.Influence of reconstruction on construction productivity is analysed as the following; increase of 3.8% in construction duration, increase of 5.7% in construction cost, and decrease of 4.4% in construction quality. 3.In order to prevent reconstruction, it is required to file and analyse reconstruction data, systemize construction management, train construction worders with systematic work procedural manual, and check design documents precisely. 4.Also it is necessary to develop new construction technology such as simplification, mechanization, dry-construction of work process.

The purpose of this study is to analyze safety management status and to suggest improvements of scffolding works. The study has been performed by using a check list and questionnaire survey in Seoul and Kyunggi province. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Safety facility side: Establishment of safety rules for the temporary stucture and development of new safety model ought to be performed. 2. Safety management side: Establishment of independent construction management policy and practical safety experience education should be realized. 3. Humanity side in safety: Imposing penalty to violation of safety rules in construction sites is required.
