        The purpose of this study is to analyze safety management status and to suggest improvements of scffolding works. The study has been performed by using a check list and questionnaire survey in Seoul and Kyunggi province. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Safety facility side: Establishment of safety rules for the temporary stucture and development of new safety model ought to be performed. 2. Safety management side: Establishment of independent construction management policy and practical safety experience education should be realized. 3. Humanity side in safety: Imposing penalty to violation of safety rules in construction sites is required.

      • 정부 및 공공기관의 시설공사 전자입찰제도 운영실태 및 개선방안에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate operational status and to suggest improvements of Electronic Bidding System in facility construction of Government and Public Institutions. The study has been performed by the analysis of administrative documents, research reports, newspaper articles and interview results in Public Procurement Service, Defence Procurement Agency and Korea Water Resource Corporation. The results of this study are as follows: (1) It is necessary to supplement the relative regulations about electronic bidding, to establish a Electronic Bidding Contract System for one-stop treatment, and to secure fairness of bidding and contract in legal and institutional viewpoints. (2) It is also necessary to establish a Firewall System for stability and security on performing Electronic Bidding, to establish a Back-up System for the preparation against system’s breakdown, and to secure compatability between each institution’s system.

      • 산업폐수의 전기화학적인 응집처리에 관한 연구

        The effect of electrochemical process to treat the industrial Wastewater for removal of COD_Mn was described in this study. The tests on COD_Mn, pH and conductivity were performed. It was shown from the tests that, in regard to efficiency of COD_Mn removal, 1.5㎝ between the electrodes for electical resistance was optimally appeared. The COD_Mn concentration and conductivity of the waste water were initially decreased when the voltage charge was increased. Removal of COD_Mn was predominantly occurred with addition of NaCl and increase of retension time. The optimal amount of NaCl solution was 2,000㎎/L. The effective removal of COD_Mn was appeared when current density was increased and pH was decreased.

      • 도시공간 활성화를 위한 기업참여 건축물의 공공성 분석에 관한 연구

        This research was conducted for the purpose of grasping present condition and special quality of cultural facilities where corporations participate strategically for space security and activation in overcrowded city. Also it aimed at suggesting inducement method by plan on the basis of public interests index establishment and analysis. This discussion will help corporations get improved image and the way to participate in urban space. At the same time, it may suggest alternative that can overcome financial difficulty and solve problems of space security. The results of this study are as follows First, preconditions for suggesting cultural facilities by corporation's participation strategically as cultural space in city is essential link with public space where citizens can use freely. Second, regional existing condition and facilities should be reflected in architectural planning. Third, as result of public interest analysis, high position 3 facilities secondarily equipped for cultural facilities are all used complex cultural facilities through utilizing of lobby space and low storied part. Finally, effective systematic improvement is essential for leading participation in reality with inconsistency which that cultural facilities are evaluated by not numbers of works but public interest of program and facilities for public and without incentive regulations.

      • AISC-LRFD 규준을 이용한 기둥설계에서의 강성감소계수

        The design of columns in ordinary construction involves slenderness ratios KL/r in the inelastic bucking range. When the alignment chart is used to evaluate K there is an important that elastic buckling controls. When the column is inelastic and the beam is elastic, and adjustment may be made in the restraint factor G used in the alignment chart. It is well known that when using the standard alignment charts to determine the effective length factor K of a column, the restraint factors G should reflect the inelastic behavior of the column. The stiffness reduction factor (SRF's) given in Table A of the AISC-LRFD manual has an error that needs to be corrected. The error occurs in adopting the technique originally proposed by Yura in the context of AISC-ASD to AISC-LRFD. In estimating the SRF in a design problem, Yura assumed that the column is designed very close to its capacity. In this study, the stiffness reduction factor for AISC-LRFD specification of columns are evaluated and corrected. The procedure of calculating the siffness reduction factor is also introduced.

      • 반복하중을 받는 경량 H형강 유공보의 소성거동 및 국부좌굴

        Many researches have been performed to describe the elastic and inelastic behavior of H-shaped beams with web openings, and were generally concentrated on the uniaxial loading conditions. With those results of researches, the formulae for design of beams with web openings considering local buckling have been proposed by Darwin. Though the formulae are so simple and useful to apply to real situation, it needs more research on cyclic loading condition. In this experimental study, a total of seven H-shaped beams with circular web openings under cyclic loading condition were investigated. The dimension criteria are based on the formulae proposed by Darwin. The suitability existing design formulae, the effects of plastic hinges on beams with web openings, the local bucking around the web openings to the beam strength under cyclic loading were also investigated through the observation of the behavior of these beams with various dimensional openings.

      • 폐콘크리트를 레미콘 골재로 재활용하는데 있어서 포졸란성 규조토의 역할

        Role of the pozzolanic diatomite, which was obtained by heat-treatment at a temperature of 650℃ for a short period(i.e., 15 minutes), on the physical properties of the ready mixed concrete(remicon) and cement bricks with use of the waste concrete as an aggregate is presented in this paper. The specimens for cement brick and remicon were cast in accordance with KSL 5105, KSL 2404, and KSF 2434. The cast specimens were tasted for compressive strength, chemical resistance freezing-thawing, durability and creep characteristics. The results showed that the compressive strength of the cement bricks and remicon with use of the pozzolanic diatomite and waste concrete aggregate was superior to that of an ordinary cement brick and commercially available remicon. It was also shown that the physical properties (i.e., chemical resistance, freezing-thawing, durability and creep characteristics of remicon containing the pozzolanic diatomite and the waste concrete aggregate were highly improved, compared to the commercially available remicon and cement bricks. It was concluded that the waste concrete can be recycled as an aggregate for producing remicon and cement bricks when the pozzolanic diatomite is used with an ordinary portland cement.

      • 강구조 인장 접합부의 블록전단 파단

        The junction of tension materials, connected with high-strength bolt, should be designed to bear net section destruction, fastener fracture, and fracture of block shear considering yielding of the shear plane and the impact of shear retardation. Block shear among them means that tension side vertical and shear plane parallel to and shear plane horizontal in the direction of weight is torn in the form of "square piece;" it is a type of fracture well known in the junction such as simple beam or gasset plate connected with the bolts. In other words, block shear is a situation of limitations where member resistance is determined by shear strength generated by the destruct line (DL) and tension strength generated by right-angled sections. Since the design law of limitation status of steel architecture was established in 1997, investigation into detailed block shear calculation formula is not thoroughgoing enough, and it is not put into practice very well. This study showed that fracture shape and the proof stress of the fracture of 'ㄱ' steel (angle) are emphasized based on the previous results in order to find out feasibility of design criteria of nlock shear in terms of design law of limitation status and verify calculation formula of block shear.

      • 건축물 붕괴사고의 원인 분석을 통한 제도적 개선방안

        The objective of this study is to suggest regulation improvements through the analysis of causes of building collapse incidents. The research method involves statistical data analysis, case studies of incidents and analysis of problems related to construction regulations. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The investigated problems are carelessness of supervision, insuffiency of designers' responsibility, insuffiency of structure specialist's joinning throughtout the project. (2) The regulation improvements are suggested to be rainforcing supervision, reinforcing of qualification of structure specialists' and increasing of structure specialist's joinning throughtout the project.

      • 현대 실내공간에서 한국성 적용을 위한 혼성(Hybrid) 표현기법에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to look into closely the character of hybrid in interior space, in order to examine the conception of hybrid, which is appeared by a modernistic pluralized tendency, as an expressional trend in modernistic interior space, and to propose the possibility of the conception of hybrid as an expressional way to design Korean style space based on the correlation between the discussion of Korean nature and the hybrid in the modernistic interior space of Korea. The hybrid to apply the nature of Korea expresses time and space, placing the meaning in history and for the existence of the past for the present, and creates a new space by reiterating the images of the past, present, and future. And a differentiated design can be created by means of making the third effect by mingling the world culture with a regional one. If the expression of the nature of Korea is applied to space from the aspect of cultural interpretation, the breath of expression can be enlarged, and the new way of design and expression can be found.
