In this study we developed artificial network generation model, which can generate on-line social network. The suggested model can represent not only scale-free and small-world properties, but also can produce networks with various values of topological characteristics through controlling two input parameters. For this purpose, two parameter K and P are introduced, K for controlling the strength of preferential attachment and P for controlling clustering coefficient. It is found out on-line social network can be generated with the combinations of K(0~10) and P(0.3~0.5) or K=0 and P=0.9. Under these combinations of P and K small-world and scale-free properties are well represented. Node degree distribution follows power-law. Clustering coefficients are between 0.130 and 0.238, and average shortest path distance between 5.641 and 5.985. It is also found that on-line social network properties are maintained as network node size increases from 5,000 to 10,000.

During the design phase of a system, which requires high reliability and safety such as aircraft, high speed train and nuclear power plant, reliability engineer must set up the target system reliability. To meet a reliability goal for the system, reliability allocation should be done gradually from the system to its element. For this end, first of all, we need to construct functional block diagram based on the design output and PWBS(Project Work Breakdown System). Another important input data for reliability allocation is the relationship between the cost and the reliability. In this study we investigate various reliability allocation models, which can be applicable to aircraft, vehicle, and power plant, and etc. And we suggest a proper reliability allocation model which can be effectively applicable to KTX-II high speed train to achieve the target system reliability.
직렬형 하이브리드 굴절차량용 대용량 LPB 팩의 적용 및 성능 평가

Newly developed Series hybrid low-floor articulated vehicle which can meet both road and railway running conditions. It has the rated driving speed of 80 km/h and three driving modes with hybrid(engine+battery) driving mode, engine driving mode, battery driving mode. The battery driving mode requires the several 10 km running without additional charging operation. The vehicle has been equipped with LPB (lithium polymer battery) pack for the series hybrid propulsion system. LPB pack consists of 168 cells (3.7 V in a cell, 80 Ah) in series, DC Circuit breaker, mechanical rack, BMS (battery management system). This paper has shown the design process of LPB pack and application to the vehicle. Driving results in the road was successful to be satisfied with the requirement of the series hybrid vehicle.

The objective of this paper is to investigate the 'state of the art' of the interdomain routing protocol BGP. First, BGP is critically reviewed focusing on the BGP policy and decision making process. And then the problems which still remain as open questions are investigated in the areas of 1) protocol stability, 2) traffic engineering and 3) quality of service. The recent research trend to answer the open questions is discussed.

Traditional anti-collision algorithms determine slot size of initial frame based on the information of number of collision slots, idle slots, and success slots. Since there is no information about collision at the beginning of tag information collection, traditional anti-collision algorithms can not determine the initial frame size. Considering that performance of anti-collision algorithm is very sensitive to initial slot size traditional anti-collision algorithms need some improvements. In this study two methods are proposed to determine slot size of initial frame efficiently, through which we can improve the performance of dynamic frame slotted aloha algorithm. To verify the performance of proposed algorithms, 2.4GHz RFID system is used. Throughput and delay time are derived through simulation, which is developed using JAVA. We have seen that proposed algorithm improves throughput by 9.6% and delay time by 9.8%.

What I want to do in the present work is to show how can transsexualism and anthropology inform and strengthen one another. When social/cultural anthropologists and cultural feminists add the term ``gender`` to some phenomenon, such as motherhood, kinship, division of labor and identity they designate a bundle of ties that may mobilized to account for relationship among human actors. Problem rises, however, when the ``bundle of ties`` begins to mean a type of material, especially in the case of a sex change or transsexuals. I address this question in the form of a review of transgenderism and transsexualsim in the study of anthropology. Instead of taking sex as a characteristic of individuals, transsexualism as a way of life mobilize it as something performed locally in ways that vary from one situation to another. For transsexuals, there is no such a thing as a ``level`` that may divide sex into two parts, biological/cultural or sex/gender. They cross the borders of the disciplines among genomics, endocrinology, anatomy, plastic surgery, psychiatry, psychology, law, and politics, connecting not only to humans but also to different materials. From this point of view, I suggest that biological and cultural factors are coordinated on the same plate in making different arrangements, which transsexuals mobilize to perform their sex-gender identities. Tracing this performance offers anthropologists an interesting theoretical and methodological opportunity and a chance to turn away form the traditional dichotomy between biology and culture. For transsexuals, reading and writing an ethnography of their own construction of sexes opens up new political spaces and strategies to cross both the borders of female-male and of natural-cultural.

AC induction motor equipped in electric train is driven by VVVF inverter which produces switching pulse like impuse. Impulse voltage is more dangerous than continuous alternative voltage for the insulating performance of AC induction motor. This paper has investigated PD characteristics caused by impuse voltage for stator coils inserted in AC induction motor.
