        팔당호의 생태학적 연구 - 1. 수질의연변화 : 과거와 현재 -

        Annual variation of water quality in Pal`tang Reservoir in Korea is described. Water samples were collected monthly from surface layer at the one station of Pal`tang reservoir, Korea from March 1988 to May 1992. Dissolved oxygen, turbidity, conductivity, pH and chlorophyll-α concentration in water column was high compared with that of 1970`s. Recently, the frequency and intensity of phytoplankton blooms(over 15㎍ chlorophyll-α1^-1) appear to be increasing. Total nitogen concentration was high compared with that of 1970`s. But, it decreased gradually from 4.76mg/l to 0.51mg/l on January 1991 as it goes. Total phosphorus concentration in water column has increased more and more from 0.004mg/l to 0.074mg/l since 1988. Therefore, N/P ratio by atoms reduced from 500 to 10∼20 because of the increasing of phosphorus and decreasing of nitrogen. This result suggests that phosphorus limited phytoplankton growth in Pal`tang Reservoir. However, if N/P ratio reduced continuously like this pattern, dominat phytoplankton species might change due to nitrogen limitation from diatom assemblages to blue green algae.

        낙동강에서 남조류 대발생시 동물플랑크톤 군집의 변화

        Changes of zooplankton community was observed at six stations during the period from June to October 1994 in Nakdong River. 40 species of zooplankton were identified; 11 genera and 14 species of cladocerans, 7 genera and 9 species including one unidentified species of copepods, and 9 genera and 17 species of rotifers. The dominant species of Zooplankton were Asplanchna priodonta, Brachionus angularis, Moina macrocopa. Copepod copepodids and nauplii were always dominant. The highest densities of rotifer were always observed at all stations. The seasonal fluctuation of abundance of zooplankton varied from 1,510 indiv. /m^3 to 1,024,093 indiv. /m^3 by months and stations. From June to October, chlorophyll-a ranged from 1.7 mg/m^3 to 173.6 mg/m^3. There was a prominent rise in phytoplankton biomass for the most stations from July to September.

        팔당호의 생태학적 연구 - 2. 식물플랑크톤의 군집 구조의 변화 -

        In order to examine the changes in phytoplankton community structure in Pal`tang river-reservoir system and to describe some of their interrelations, 4 stations were chosen. Observations were carried out for four times at the Pal`tang reservoir and the lower part of three rivers such as North Han river, South Han river and Kyung-An stream from April 1992 to May 1993 and these data were analyzed with other published data. A total of 60 taxa in phytoplankton: of these, 24 were Bacillariophyceae, 29 were Chlorophyceae, five were Dinophyceae, the other taxa as Chrysophyceae, Cryptophyceae were identified one species, respectively. Rapid eutrophication contribute to the shift of the chief components of the total phytoplankton community from Bacillariophyceae to Bacillariophyceae including Chlorophyceae. Among them, Autacoseira(=Melosira) granulata dominated continuously in this study area since 1980. Changes in Phytoplankton community structure in Station 4(Pal`tang reservoir) affected by the longitudinal transport along each river strech in Pal`tang river-reservoir system. However, Changes of phytoplankton community structure probably were affected by its growth characteristics during the stagnation period of water column. Station 3(Kyung-An Stream) is heavily eutrophicated due to stagnation of water column.

        본 연구 목적은 탈휘발화 과정에서의 역청탄과 아역청탄의 혼탄 열중량 곡선을 예측 하는 것이다. TSL (Thermal Shock Large) TGA를 통하여 실험을 수행 하였으며, 반응속도상수 분석은 Coats-redfern 방법을 이용하였다. 도출된 반 응속도상수를 기반으로 단일탄의 Sum Method에 대한 일차적 검증을 하였으며, 혼탄시의 TG curve를 WSM(Weight Sum Method)와 저자가 제시한 MWSM (Modified Weight Sum Method)를 사용하여 예측 및 비교하였다. WSM 및 MWSM를 통한 예측결과와 TG curve 실험결과의 정량적인 비교를 위해 Linear least square method를 사용하였다. TG curve 상에서 서로 다른 기울기를 가지는 경우와 많은 휘발분의 방출로 인한 급격한 질량감소가 나타나는 구간의 경우 MWSM이 WSM 보다 실험결과에 더 정확한 결과를 예측함을 확인하였다. 탈휘발 과정에서의 혼탄의 열적 거동은 단 일탄의 특성에서부터 예측할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. The objective of this research is to predict the TG curve of blends of bituminous coal and sub-bituminous coal during devolatilization. TSL (Thermal Shock Large) TGA was used for Experiments, and Coats-redfern method was used for reaction order calculation. Based on reaction order, sum method was verified to be suitable for a single coal, then, prediction and comparison of TG curve of coal blends was conducted using both of WSM (Weight Sum Method) and MWSM (Modified Weight Sum Method), where the latter was developed in this research. The presented experiment results and WSM & MWSM were showed to be reasonable using linear least square method. MWSM performed more accurately than WSM for the case that TG curve had different slopes and the case that sharp weight loss happened due to release of volatile matter. The results showed that it`s possible to predict the thermal behavior of coal blends during devolatilization based on the thermal behavior of single coals

        간의 국소결절성과형성 1 예

        Focal nodular hyperplasia(FNH) is a rare benign hepatic tumor usually discovered serendipitous]y by an imaging procedure performed for some other reason. FNH is typically asymptomatic, and invariably follows a benign course. Accordingly, the preferred management is conservative, and excision is reserved for large symptomatic and complicated lesion, or when the diagnosis remains uncertain. Although many cases of FNH has been described to date in other countries, only two cases of FNH has been reported in Korean literature. But biopsy proven case have not been reported in Korea. In the present report we describe a 15 cm sized symptomatic lesion of FNH in a 29-year-old woman, that was disclosed by various kinds of imaging procedure. A left lateral segmentectomy was performed. The mass was firm and showed areas of localized growth of mature hepatocytes and septal fibrosis accompanied with marginal ductal proliferation, consistent with FNH. It also displayed an incomplete stellate architectural configuration consisted of a central fibrous scar. We report a case of FNH with a review of the literature.
