가우시안 군집분석을 이용한 천리안 위성의 대기운동벡터 표적추적 알고리듬 개발 및 분석

Atmospheric Motion Vector (AMV) from satellite images have shown Slow Speed Bias (SSB) in comparison with rawinsonde. The causes of SSB are originated from tracking, selection, and height assignment error, which is known to be the leading error. However, recent works have shown that height assignment error cannot be fully explained the cause of SSB. This paper attempts a new approach to examine the possibility of SSB reduction of COMS AMV by using a new target tracking algorithm. Tracking error can be caused by averaging of various wind patterns within a target and changing of cloud shape in searching process over time. To overcome this problem, Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) has been adopted to extract the coldest cluster as target since the shape of such target is less subject to transformation. Then, an image filtering scheme is applied to weigh more on the selected coldest pixels than the other, which makes it easy to track the target. When AMV derived from our algorithm with sum of squared distance method and current COMS are compared with rawindsonde, our products show noticeable improvement over COMS products in mean wind speed by an increase of 2.7 ms_1 and SSB reduction by 29%. However, the statistics regarding the bias show negative impact for mid/low level with our algorithm, and the number of vectors are reduced by 40% relative to COMS. Therefore, further study is required to improve accuracy for mid/low level winds and increase the number of AMV vectors.

김정은 체제 이후 영화에서 나타나는 여성이미지 연구 : 2011년대 이후 북한 예술영화를 중심으로

북한은 정권 수립기부터 가사, 육아, 남녀평등법의 사회화 등 여성의 사회진출을 위해 꾸준히 발전해왔으며 현재는 여성해방이 이루어졌다고 북한 측에서는 이야기하고 있다. 하지만 지금 완벽한 남녀평등의식이 자리 잡지 못했으며 김일성 유일 지배체제 이후 김정일 체제 수립과정 또한 여성들에게 ‘어진 어머니이자 착한 아내’와 동시에 직업을 가진 완벽한 역할을 강조해오고 있다. 1990년 김정일 체제 당시 북한의 최대위기는 경제난이었으며 다시 시행되던 법과 제도가 제대로 실천되지 못하였다. 이와 동시에 북한 여성들은 가족의 생계와 더불어 노동의 부담을 남편과 함께 책임지기 위해 가장의 역할 또한 맡게 되었다. 이후 2011년 김정일 집권체제에서 김정은 체제로 바뀌면서 나타나는 사회적 양상을 주목해야 하는데 객관적으로 북한의 여성이미지 변화를 분석하기 위해서는 시대 차이에 대한 이해가 우선적으로 필요하다. 김정일 체제의 선군정치, 공포정치, 경제난 등 부정적인 이미지와는 달리 김정은 체제에서는 리설주, 김여정 등 여성 리더들의 등장으로 획일적 통제사회에서 소프트 파워 정치, 개인의 개성표현 인정 등 북한 사회가 변화였음을 알 수 있다. 이에 따라 북한영화 역시 혁명 및 사회주의를 중심으로 제작되었다가 2010년을 기점으로 달라지는 모습을 보이고 있다. 현재는 ‘정(情)’이라는 키워드를 앞세워 인민과 국가의 관계, 사람들 사이의 정을 주제로 하며 북한 여성이 주체가 된 영화들이 늘어나고 있다. 이에 북한여성 이미지에 대해 정확하게 분석하는 것은 좀 더 바람직한 남북사회공동체를 구상하고 기여하는 데 목적을 가진다. The North Korean authorities have insisted that they have worked hard to help women advance in the workplace such as through establishment of the Gender Equality Law and socialization of housework and childcare following the establishment of their regime, liberating women from laws and systems. However, gender equality has not been reached yet. During the leadership succession in the post-Kim Jong-il era following Kim Il-sung as well, the hyeonmoyangcheo (‘wise mom and good wife’) was emphasized. The economic recession in 1990 under the Kim Jong-il regime caused an enormous crisis and existing laws and systems were not properly separated. At the same time, North Korean women started to take a role as the head of the family to earn a living and fulfill social labor needs. Since then, the social phenomena that have taken place since the start of Kim Jong-un’s era in 2011 have been closely watched. To analyze changes in North Korea from an objective perspective, it is necessary to understand the changes between the Kim Jong-il and Kim Jong-un regimes. Unlike Kim Jong-il’s reign of terror, poor economy, army-first policy and dark images, the Kim Jong-un regime showed signs of changes in the social economy with the emergence of a female leader in ‘Ri Sol-ju’ through soft-power policy and the high prevalence of mobile phone use (4 million users). The military-first and practical socialism-oriented North Korean films started to change in 2010. Based on socialistic systems, ‘jeong’ (feeling of affection)-themed-relationship between people and the political party and the affection that can be felt among people–films have been produced. In addition, the number of North Korean woman-themed films has increased. Therefore, a precise analysis of North Korean women images would make a contribution to the construction of a South-North Korean community.

분무건조 방법의 차이가 글리메피라이드 함유 고체분산체의 특성에 미치는 영향

Glimepiride (GLI) is a third-generation sulfonylurea class antidiabetic drug that has low aqueous solubility. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of solvents in the development of GLI-loaded solid dispersions (GLISD) using spray drying technique. Two GLI-SD were prepared by adding GLI, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP K30), and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) in an ethanol/water mixture (solvent evaporation, SE) and water only (surface attached, SA). Intrinsic saturated solubilities and in-vitro dissolution were evaluated and compared to the GLI powder and physical mixture (PM). In addition, physicochemical studies such as scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and X-ray diffraction were also evaluated. We found that the solubility of GLI was significantly improved by both the preparation methods. The SE method showed 4,960-fold improvement while the SA method displayed 2,900-fold enhancement, which is equivalent to the PM. The in-vitro dissolution studies showed that both methods had a higher release rate, about 1.3-fold for SE and 2-fold for SA, as compared to pure GLI powder. However, GLI release slightly decreased with time for the SA method. Furthermore, solid-state characterizations also revealed that most of the crystalline drug was transformed to the amorphous form in both GLI-SD. Thus, these results indicate that choice of the solvent system plays an important role in the spray drying technique which affects the solubility, dissolution, and crystallinity of poorly soluble drugs such as GLI.

요가운동 프로그램수행이 폐경 전,후 중년 여성의 카테콜아민과 성장호르몬에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 폐경전과 폐경후 중년여성을 대상으로 요가운동 프로그램수행이 호흡순환기능, 카테콜아민 그리고 성장호르몬에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 실시되었다. 연구 피험자들은 폐경전 그룹(n=7)과 폐경후 그룹(n=7)으로 무작위 추출에 의해 참여하였다. 모든 피험자들은 12주간, 주 3일, 일일 60분간 요가의 20가지 아사나(자세)를 최대산소섭취량의 60%에 해당되는 운동강도로 실시하였다. 피험자들의 혈액샘플은 안정시에 채혈하여, 그 즉시 혈장으로 분리하고 냉동 보관한 뒤 분석하였다. 그 결과 체중, 체질량지수, LDL콜레스테롤, 중성지방은 두 그룹 모두 유의하게 감소하였으며, HDL콜레스테롤은 유의하게 증가하였다. 총 콜레스테롤은 폐경후 그룹에서만 유의하게 감소하였다. 또한 체중 당 최대산소섭취량은 두 그룹 모두 유의하게 증가하였으며, 최대 환기량은 폐경전 그룹에서만 유의하게 증가하였다. 도파민은 폐경후 그룹에서만 유의하게 증가하였으나, 성장호르몬은 두 그룹 모두 유의하게 증가하였다. 따라서 12주간의 요가 운동 프로그램의 수행은 폐경 전과 폐경후 중년 여성들의 신체구성과 호흡순환기능의 향상은 물론 중추신경전달 호르몬의 분비에도 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다. 특히, 호르몬의 변화는 폐경 전 여성들보다 폐경후 여성들에서 더욱 효과적인 것으로 사료된다. 이는 폐경으로 인하여 일어난 중추신경 호르몬 감수성의 감소를 요가와 같은 운동을 통하여 중추신경계를 자극하므로써 향상시킬 수 있음을 시사한다. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of yoga exercise program on cardiopulmonary functions, catecholamine, and growth hormone in pre and postmenopausal middle aged women. The subjects of this study were divided into premenopausal group(n=7) and postmenopausal group(n=7) randomly. Both groups performed yoga exercise program for 60min as 60% of VO2max with 20 types of asana per day and 3 days a week for total 12weeks program. Blood samples of each subject were analyzed with affinity chromatography and serum. The results showed that weight, BMI, LDL-C, and TG of both groups decreased significantly(p<.05) and HDL-C increased significantly(p<.05). TC decreased significantly(p<.05) in only postmenopausal group. In cardiopulmonary functions, VO2max/kg of both groups enhanced significantly (p<.05). However, VEmax increased significantly(p<.05) in only premenopausal group. Dopamine only increased significantly(p<.05) in postmenopausal but growth hormone increased significantly (p<.05) in both groups. Therefore, 12weeks yoga exercise program affected improvement of body composition and cardiopulmonary functions as well as beneficial secretion of central neurotransmitter hormones in pre and postmenopausal middle aged women. Especially, as seeing the result of hormone alterations, postmenopausal women may effect more than premenopausal women. This results suggests that yoga exercise program may enhance sensitivity of reduced central neurotransmitter hormones on account of menopause as stimulation of central nervous system.

국내에서 분리된 Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae 균주들의 스트렙토마이신 저항성

Streptomycin resistant isolates of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae, the causal agent of bacterial canker in kiwifruit, were found in Korea. A total of 734 isolates of P. syringae pv. actinidiae collected between 2008 and 2017 from bacterial canker infections in 111 kiwifruit orchards were assessed for streptomycin resistance. The survival of each isolate was screened against 100 μg/ml of streptomycin. Among 734 isolates, 38 strep- tomycin resistant P. syringae pv. actinidiae isolates originated from nine orchards were found. Streptomycin resistant isolates belonging to biovar 2 were found in several individual years, but ones belonging to biovar 3 were found in Korea only since 2016. Therefore, to use streptomycin for control of bacterial canker in kiwifruit orchards should be very careful, and it is necessary to check the streptomycin susceptibility of the pathogen before use in kiwifruit orchards.

In this study, the theoretical methodology is presented for estimating cost function based on operating modes for Combined Cycle Power Plant. The proposed method has estimated cost functions using the relationship between the gas turbine heat input and the output ratio of the steam turbine. In order to verify the proposed method, a regression analysis was performed using the single cost function estimated by the existing performance test method and the cost function for each operating mode estimated by the proposed method. The results of case studies using the 2016 generator input and output data are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

초등학교 야구선수들의 등속성 근력 및 심폐지구력에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the result of on body composition, isokinetic muscle strength and cardiopulmonary in elementary school baseball player. The subjects consisted of 12aged male, who were divided into one group of 8 trained more than 2 years baseball experience and another group of 8 normal subjects. Cardiopulmonary metabolic variables were treasured during graded maximal exercise utilizing a treadmill. Also body composition and cybex isokinetic muscle strength were measured. The following conclusion was made in result of the test for the subjects. The height, weight and BMI, the player groups were shown to be higher significantly(p v.05) than normal groups. In isokiretic muscle strength, the player groups showed to be higher the significant(p <.05) than normal groups in cybex isokinetic muscle strength factor. In VO₂max, the player groups showed to be higher the significant(p <.05) than normal groups. From the result of this study, it can be concluded that elementary baseball players shown to be higher than normal groups for body composition, isokinetic muscle and cardiopulmonary.

  Erythropoietin is produced mainly in the kidney and regulates erythrocyte production. It binds to a cell surface receptor and leads to intracellular activation of several kinase pathways. EPO is a hypoxia-induced hormone that is essential for normal erythropoiesis. The production of recombinant human erythropoietin has revolutionized the treatment of anemia associated with chronic renal failure and chemotherapy. EPO has similar structure and signaling mechanisms to the family of type I cytokines and is markedly induced by hypoxia. EPO is synthesize by peritubular cells in the cortex-medullary border of the kidney and in the liver during fetal and neonatal development. A variety of other tissues have been reported to express erythropoietin including bore marrow macrophages, trophoblasts, breast glands, and astrocytes.<BR>  Therefore, This study was invested relative in exercise and EPO, we had a conclusion as follows; 1) EPO is useful on polycythemia in test. 2) In patients with chronic renal insufficiency, r-HuEPO has also been shown to improve exercise capacity. 3) EPO has similar structure type I cytokines and induced by hypoxia.
