        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand changes before, during and after Yoga instructor’s teaching and performing Yoga and his/her contemplation. Method: Qualitative approach was implemented. In-depth interview, non-participation observation and document review were performed with six participants. interview transcription, description of observation, document comparison were adopted for analyses of data. Triangulation with interview, observation and document review was applied to increase the level of trustworthiness in data collection and analyses. Results: Contemplation before, during and after Yoga was observed. The participants perceive the need for contemplation. They expect that their students experience perception of self-beauty, enhanced health, sense of achievement, self-confidence, stress easiness and positive attitude. Conclusion: Consequently, Yoga instructors need to keep doing contemplation for their well-being as well as their students’ well-being.

        교양체육 교수자의 가치정향에 따른 성취요인 우선순위 탐색

        The purpose of this study was to find out instructors’ hierarchy of value orientation when they teach physical education elective courses in college. What should be emphasized, no matter what value orientation one pursues, is that physical education elective courses embrace the principle of holistic education. Curricular activities and instructions, however, could be differentiated based on instructor’s value orientation, societal demands, participants’ needs, and others. This study utilized Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) to find out what physical education electives instructors consider important to teach. As results, the participants who have been teaching physical education elective courses in this study consider the value of ‘Self-actualization (0.362)’ the most important. while they regard ‘Ecological integration (0.054)’ as the least importance in teaching physical education electives. ‘Discipline mastery (0.303)’ takes the second position. ‘Social reconstruction (0.175)’ and ‘Learning process (0.107)’ are placed on the 3rd and the 4th respectively. The participants in this study put their efforts to help their students experience pleasure and easiness of stress, both of which are sub-components of ‘Self-actualization.’ They emphasize skill and knowledge acquisition by putting ‘Discipline mastery’ on 2nd in the hierarchical order. Physical education electives need to help learners experience pleasure with achievement in safe circumstances under mutually respectful atmosphere since hierarchy implies perspectives rather than what is worth or worthless.

        계층분석(AHP)을 통한 현대무용수 역량의 우선순위 탐색: 무용공연 수행을 중심으로

        본 연구는 현대무용수의 공연수행에 필요한 역량에 대해 알아보고 각 역량의 정량적인 우선순위를 탐색하고자 계층분석(AHP)을 실시하였다. 선행연구에 따르면, ‘전문가적’ 무용수의 움직임과 테크닉이라는 요소가 다른 요소들보다 더욱 주목을 받았다. 하지만 본 연구는 무용수의 테크닉에 더해 어떠한 다른 역량이 공연수행에 필요한가를 우선순위를 통해 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 문헌연구와 전문가 협의를 거쳐 무용공연 수행에서의 중요한 역량과 역량의 하위요소를 조사한 후, 계층분석을 통해 해당 역량과 하위요소에 대한 우선순위를 살펴보았다. 계층분석은 쌍대 비교를 통해 이루어졌으며 분석을 통해 나타난 역량과 하위요소는 일관성지수(CI<.1)와 일관성비율(CR<.1)의 기준을 적용하여 검증되었다. 연구의 결과, 연구참여자들은 ‘무용테크닉(.351)’, ‘예술적 민감성과 표현(.210)’, ‘체형 및 체력(.165)’, ‘창의성(.152)’, ‘인내(.123)’의 순으로 무용공연수행에서의 역량이 중요하다고 판단하였다. 끝으로 무용창작 과정에서의 안무가와 무용수의 적극적인 소통을 통한 창의성 향상이 함께 이루어졌을 때 성공적인 무용공연 수행을 기대할 수 있음을 시사한다.

        360° VR(Virtual Reality) 기반의 무용공연 콘텐츠 탐색과 도입

        The purpose of the study was to explore implications of 360° VR dance contents production in dance performance and provide guidelines for 360° VR dance contents production. Literature review was conducted at first to find out what 360° VR contents are and how they are producted. Review of how ICT has been combined with artistic contents has been also done at the same time. In the final step, three experts in the VR business and two dance experts who are well aware of VR content production were asked for opinions about what guidelines need to be kept in production of 360° VR dance contents. Understanding of the procedure of 360° VR contents production, the essence of dance performance and the importance of content edit in detail were selected as noteworthy guidelines. It is certain that 360° VR dance contents would not replace the position of classical dance performance. However, there must be diverse ways such as dance performance marketing to utilize 360° VR dance contents in the future.

        대학 무용학과의 존립을 위한 선발-교육-진로 방향성 모색

        The purpose of the study was to explore possible coordination among admission, curriculum and career education for sustainment of college dance department in Korea. It seems that the sustainment and development of dance department has been difficult without coherent coordination of admission, curricular activity and career education. Therefore, the results of the study are as follows: firstly, the admission and curriculum need to be changed to require students’ creativity. Ways to evaluate creative works and improvisation need to be adopted in the admission process. Secondly, each course aiming to develop diverse competencies should be well managed to develop actual competencies for dance students. Thirdly, openness in curriculum management to empower dance students to have the capability of convergence of diverse fields needs to be applied to the dance curriculum. Open networking to embrace diverse mentors who are able to show a variety of career paths also needs to be adopted.

        진로다양화 및 세분화를 위한 무용학과 진로교육 교과과정 및 운영 방안

        The purpose of this study was to find out what a desirable career education curriculum is and how it needs to be managed for students in the dance department. Dance curricula of six universities were compared, analyzed and classified at the initial stage of the study. Then, seven experts in the career education field participated in the study as the focus group interviewees. They indicated that curriculum in the dance department already included courses diverse enough to achieve career diversification and segmentation and recommended that career education needed to start with in-class special lectures rather than independent career classes. In regard to the second question, they claimed that career education needed to be performed to the instructor in each class. In addition, in-class career experience needed to be approached in advance to internship that used to be requested to juniors or seniors in the university.

        청소년의 건강체력에 대한 잠재프로파일 특성과 신체적 자기개념 간의 상관관계 분석

        본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 건강체력에 따른 잠재프로파일 특성과 신체적 자기개념을 분석하고 요인 간 상관관계를 규명하고자 한다. 연구 대상자는 경기지역 중학생 306명을 대상으로 건강체력은 학생건강체력관리시스템(PAPS)을 측정하였고 신체적 자기개념 설문지를 사용하여 요인분석 및 건강체력 집단에 따른 신체적 자기개념의 평균값 비교를 위해 일원변량분석을 적용하였다. 일원변량분석의 사후분석은 Scheffe 방법을 활용하였다. 또한 통계적 유의수준은 잠재프로파일 분석과 동일하게 α=.05로 설정하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 건강체력 잠재프로파일은 남학생 및 여학생 각 세 집단으로 구분되며, 건강체력에 대한 상대적 수준이 높은 high 집단과 보통 수준인 normal 집단, 낮은 수준으로 지각하는 low 집단으로 도출되었다. 또한 건강체력의 잠재프로파일 분류에 따른 신체적 자기개념의 평균 차이 결과에서는 중학생의 건강체력에 대한 객관적인 수준이 높을수록 신체적 자기개념도 높은 수준으로 지각하였다. 이와 같은 결과는 건강체력의 향상과 신체적 자기개념은 매우 밀접한 관련성을 지니고 있음을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between fitness-oriented potential profile characteristics and factors related to the physical self-concept for middle school students. 306 middle school students residing in Gyeonggi-do participated in this study. The Physical Activity Promotion Systems(PAPS) was utilized to measure their health-related fitness while a self-administered questionnaire was distributed and collected to ask their physical self-concept. Confirmatory factor analysis was implemented to find out the validity and the reliability of the questionnaire and one-way ANOVA was adopted to compare mean values of the factors related to the physical self-concept. Scheffe for post-hoc was conducted at the end and significance level (p<.05) was applied from the beginning to the end. The results of the study are as follows. The participants’ potential profiles of health-related fitness are classified into three groups respectively for male and female students: the low level of fitness, the medium level of fitness and the high level of fitness group. The mean difference among the low, the medium and the high, based on the results of one-way ANOVA, demonstrates that the level of fitness is positively related with the level of the physical self-concept, which implies that physical educators need to put their effort to improve students’ fitness level not only for students’ physical health but also for their mental health such as the physical self-concept.

        Outdoor Sports 전문 지도자 양성을 위한 역량 우선순위 탐색

        The purpose of this study was to find out hierarchical order to nurture outdoor sports instructors. Demand for participation in outdoor sports has been expanded in Korea since five-day working policy began in 2004. Instructors in sport settings are important because they take part not just in skill and knowledge delivery but also in safety management and learner’s motivation. Therefore, fostering instructors in other sports have been considered critical, and many studies related to nurturing instructors have been done. However, studies related to fostering desirable outdoor sports instructors have not been performed since its birth is not old enough to do it. Thus, this study investigated what factors are important to nurture desirable outdoor sports instructors. Literature review was done at first to filter out the related factors from previous studies. Then, delphi was done with 8 experts. Lastly, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was followed with other 3 0 experts. Results of the study is as follows: Competence for Safety Management is placed at the top with the weight of .355, competence for Cognitive Management follows with the weight of .354, competence for Skill/Education is placed at third with the weight of .222, and competence for Socialization is placed at the bottom with the weight of .069.

        팬데믹 및 4차 산업혁명 시대의 지역사회체육과 학교체육 : 인성 함양의 전인적 체육 모색

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out what the role of physical education teacher need to be , how on-line home schooling and on-field self-learning need to be adapted, and what relationships between school physical education and the local community need to be pursued. Method: Ethnographic approach was adopted with three in-service physical education teachers, two previous Public Sport Club officials at KOC and two sport-related co llege professors. The participants were recruited based on the Snowballing way with the criteria of ‘10-year or more career’and ‘Willingness of participation in the study.’ School documents, observation of on-line school physical education classes and in-depth interviews were carried out to collect data. For the purpose of trustworthiness of the study, Data triangulation, Member check, Peer debriefing and Key informant were utilized. Results: The results of this study are as follows. Seven participants claimed together that physical education teacher in the pandemic and/or 4<SUP>th</SUP> industrial revolution era should 1) become a counselor, a facilitator, a guide and an advisor to help students spontaneously perform physical education classes on their own, 2) play a role of an administrator to build up relationships with the local community and government members, organize each student’s local on-field learning with his/her peers and 3) develop expertise for effective counseling and administration. Pre-service and in-service teacher education programs need to be aligned with the results. Conclusion: In summary, the findings in this study confirm that the physical education teacher education programs need to focus on nurturing counseling and administrative competencies to get prepared for the contemporary 4<SUP>th</SUP> industrial revolution society or another possible pandemic circumstance.
